ID: 1. Shoulders-up of Guillermo and the newly re-skinned Baron Afanas sitting at a bar together. Guillermo is wearing a collared shirt with the sleeves pushed up, suspenders, and has his glasses tucked into his collar. He has both arms folded on the bar and is holding a single beer, looking very flushed and drunk as he squints over at the Baron and asks, “Can I tell you something if you promise not to kill me about it?” The Baron, wearing two frilled collars and two lace cravats with a high-collared coat, hums in response, long fingers poised elegantly on the bar. 2. The Baron lifts one hand in a flourish, smiling triumphantly with eyes closed as he replies, “I suppose in light of our beautiful friendship-“ Guillermo interrupts , eyes drifting away as he lifts the beer to his lips and blurting out “Great I’m the one that fried you to a crisp.” 3. The Baron’s lifted hand curls into a fist, the other dragging claws on the bar top as he leans back slightly and narrows his gaze at Guillermo, eyes going red. “Ah…” he grits out through his fangs. Guillermo, realizing what he just admitted to, suddenly spits beer from the mouth of his bottle and whips his head toward the Baron in a panic, slamming the beer back down on the bar. He stutters, “But! But it was an accident, like, actually!”

4. Close up of Guillermo from the Baron’s POV, looking thoughtful and scowling faintly off to the side. He continues, “I thought you were the first vampire I ever killed, but… I guess it was that Ludwig guy? Not as impressive. 5. Close up of the Baron from Guillermo’s POV, eyes closed and brow furrowed thoughtfully, one finger tapping at his chin with a frown. He replies, “Yes, it would be much better for your ‘rep’ if I had been killed by you.”

6. Back to the wide shot. Baron tosses both of his hands out with a big fangy grin, eyes wide and glowing red again as they focus on Guillermo. He asks, “Would you like another go?” Guillermo, propped up with his elbow on the bar and leaning his cheek into his hand, grins lightly with his eyes closed and responds “No, I’m good, thanks.” /end ID

the tragic irony of guillermo always being the one to oppose nandor's relationships with other people, UNTIL it's a relationship nandor doesn't actually want. the tragic irony of nandor always being able to rely on guillermo to save him from himself and his mistakes even when he himself doesn't realise it's a mistake or believes he doesn't want guillermo's help, UNTIL he literally wants guillermo to do exactly that and all guillermo is doing is wholeheartedly supporting what he KNOWS is a huge mistake. the tragic irony of nandor wanting someone to ruin his wedding so desperately, whilst guillermo is literally driving himself insane trying to make it perfect for him. the tragic irony of guillermo thinking he's done right by both of them by moving on and letting nandor be happy with someone else and not being jealous anymore, when really what nandor actually needs right now is that old jealous, conniving guillermo who will try to sabotage nandor's relationship for his own good. the tragic irony of nandor finally giving up on running away from his feelings and turning around, only to find that guillermo has stopped chasing him.
