if i could ever do my own edition for dl and have my story showcased as a game, it would function like an arg where, while still playing as yui, you search through evidence and collect information via interviews, playable flashbacks and present scenes, exploring the palace and other areas, and reading documents like city censuses, written accounts from people like beatrix or maids all in search for answers as to what’s going on with simone but more so how it ties in with the elite (karl) and their sinister history of ‘unethical practices.’ it would be less realistic than most args for the playable scenes and such but still highly immersive and less about the romance with the boys and more about... everything else that happens in dl. if i could really go off w this game i’d have chase scenes and actual first person playing sequences where you could be running to hide from the brothers or simone, or just simply walking around ryoutei and talking to students that pertain to whatever stage of the investigation you’re in

this one came from the deepest darkest spot of hatred for karl that i have, so hear me out

in an attempt to break things off between devyn and aurora, karlheinz suggests sending aurora on another campaign with dong hwa, for god knows what but devyn is against it, claiming she deserves a break from all of it. what does karl says? “just tell me you’re afraid she’ll get closer to your father than you are, dearest. they’ve been getting along rather well these days, i understand if you fear he finally found ‘a daughter’ that excels in the same field with him.”

literally one of his last resorts. devyn just looks at him upset, not on the idea, but at the fact that he came up with it— it backfired on him.

Honestly I agree. I feel like Beatrix’s dress would look kinda matronly on her, if anything I feel like Christa’s style would definitely fit her the best. It definitely fits her flow

Like I just imagine after killing Karlheinz, Ayato and Yui move into the castle as the clan’s new monarchs and Yui just explores (bc she’s a whole fairy). Then she just comes across Christa’s old room which was perfectly preserved because Karl held somewhat of a soft spot for her and looks in her closet and just melts

I know a lot of people put Yui in Cordelia's outfit, but for some reason I think Beatrix's aesthetic would look better on her, especially since she seems to pull her hair back in some way when she gets older.

I don't think she'd wear her hair back, instead opting for a side ponytail like in Azusa's MB manga or simply letting her hair down, as she seems to prefer it. Yui will never change, regardless of her position; in Ayato's LE route, the servants referred to her as "Yui-sama" because she was the king's woman and her behavior stayed unchanged. She wasn't attempting to be mature, wise, or noble; she was simply herself. Even in other endings where she grows older, her personality and viewpoints remain the same as at 17.

As for why people put Yui in Cordelia's outfit, well, it's designed to make her look hot, and it's a refreshing change from her soft girl appearance.

laito was joking, shu was half joking and subaru was absolutely serious - but helen's so firmly rooted in reality that she thought they were just messing around. (these take place considerably far into their relationships, so none of them particularly want to kill her, especially considering how her father is togou sakamaki's most vital business partner at the moment. still, if she'd stuck around in that library for five minutes too long subaru would have smashed her brains out over the bookshelves just for running her mouth)

Tutoring Subaru isn't easy at the best of times, but it seems like today he's on some sort of steak of bad performance. Helen clicks the red pen open and skims the nib across his page, quickly working out the answers - answers that don't line up with anything he's written. She crosses through line after line of squiggly numbers, feeling her spirits sink lower with very stroke. I thought he was getting the hang of things.

"Wrong...wrong....wrong, wrong, wrong, Subaru these are all wrong. Didn't you practice?"

Subaru lets out a hiss of irritation, turning away from her so he faces the bookshelves instead. "Fuck...you should just stop tutoring me."

"Why, so you can fail and repeat the year?" asks Helen, rolling her eyes. "Look, I'll simplify the formula, try it this way, okay?"

He slowly reaches for the pen - then stops. "...I'm not good for you."

"Dude. Please don't start with the self hate crap again, you only have an hour to get these questions right before I have to go."

Looking as though he's struggling with something profoundly troubling, Subaru scrunches his face up. "I..."

Helen feels her spirits deflate further at his tone. Don't say you're going to flunk the exams on purpose, I've worked so hard on trying to bring you up to par-

"I'm a vampire," he blurts out.

"...what?"

"I said, I'm a va-"

"Is this like, a running family joke or something?" Helen demands, eyes flashing with irritation. "Because I so do not need this right now."

"I-"

"Can it, okay?! My ballet recital is in two days, I have the dress rehearsal tomorrow, I have to go home, do my fucking assignments, go to sleep early, wake up early, drag myself to school in daylight hours, and- and so much else! Can't you be serious for five minutes?"

Subaru stares at her with that same baffled look on his face. "I just told you that I'm a monster."

"Oh. My. God. Subaru, I'm a very patient person, but you are literally on my last nerve right now," she groans.

The albino's brow creases deeper by the second. "What the fuck is wrong with you?"

These words sound so intensely unfair to her that she can't help but erupt. "What the fuck is wrong with you?! How old are you? A vampire? That's your excuse for not studying? Who the fuck are you, Stephanie Meyers?"

Subaru's lost any vulnerability he'd had by now, and his shoulders are stiffening with rising rage. "Listen, you stupid cunt-"

"You're the cunt, cunt! I'm helping you study for your stupid exams, and this is what I get? Your emo ass whining about monsters? And- you know what?" Helen cuts her rant off abruptly, raising up her palms in a gesture of surrender. "I don't need to listen to this."

Subaru blinks, watching her gathering up her pencil case and schoolbag without comprehension. "Where the hell are you going?"

"Home. Unlike you, I actually have responsibilities." she retorts. Her hair swishes over her shoulders as she pushes herself up from the desk, turning on her heel and marching out of the library door. Subaru half raises to follow her, his anger at his own stupid confession bubbling up into something near panic.

He calls furiously after her, "What about what I just told you?!"

He's still going on with it? Helen halts right before stepping into the hallway, turning to look back at him with a stunned look. "What about...? Are you kidding me? Get off Wattpad and do your homework, asshole, you're failing five subjects!"

Making otome environment in 3D (massive project)

so as I've been working on some small props from otome games, I thought... I wanna model entire rooms, environments from these otome games, and export them to VR so we all can have a tour and BE in the moment hehe (kinda like a movie set tour). It’s my little dream 💭

JUST IMAGINE BEING IN YOUR FAVOURITE MAN’S ROOM IN REAL TIME! YOU CAN MOVE AROUND, TURN YOUR HEAD TO LOOK WHEREVER! ISN’T THIS EXCITING???

So I've thought it out, planned a bit, and here are some of the steps I will be taking to make it happen.

Gathering references - pretty much any image/screencaps I can find of bois rooms, gardens, houses, outdoors, of the otome games I've played. (Some from google, some from my phone and switch lol)

Study furniture/rooms & fill in the cut off sides - usually, otome game backgrounds are limited to one image from a single camera angle. So I will kinda design the 3rd and 4th wall of the room to make it a complete space)

Floor plan - need to make sure all furniture and objects are properly scaled and fitted into the room based on the screencaps

Modeling Blender assets - reappearing items like wooden planks, pillows, mattress, windows, books, rocks, grass, trees, etc can be modeled once and reused. Varying the texture and directions will make it look less repetitive.

Model the Room/place - using the assets and the reference image I build the actual environment.

UV mapping and Textures - Uv map objects that need unique textures, then import the UV overlay to clip studio to paint the mesh on image surface. Import the images back to Blender and wrap the textures accordingly.

Lighting & details - yeye lighting, details, and all that fun stuff at the end to tweek and make things perfect!

Export! - as of now, I will probably use sketchfab, a website you can view 3D models on. If you have oculus or vr devices, I think you should be able to view it using that as well.

These are just rough steps for me to follow, I've started steps 1-4 all at once simultaneously, but I'm sure there's more stuff that needs to be done. Ik it will take a longgg time... I probably will end up doing rooms and then piecing it together to create the whole thing, so random rooms may be done in random order, and yeah... not the whole universe at once lmao. I've also gotten a lot of help from my stream since there are a lot of good 3D artists I respect. Probably will continue to get more help lel. These posts are also for myself to keep track of the progress,,, so yeah!

Games I'm planning to do: Ikevam, ikesen, ikepri, ikerev, diabolik lovers, olympia soiree, collar x malice, piofiore, variable barricade (maybe more)
