I've been looking at him for hours now and I still can't get over how absolutely damn GORGEOUS he is. This is so unreal. This is so unfair. Twst put such a high bar with him that I don't know if I'd ever find other game art as glorious as Malleus is. It's not just about art style; it's about how deliciously expressive he is, how recognizable his design is, how magnificent his silhouette is, how unique and artistic and unafraid his outfits are without resorting to cheap skin fanservice.

I've played many games in my life and twst's quality is way, way up there. It's so inventive. It stands out from the rest. If you're even just a bit trained in art, you'd notice how tasteful its art is compared to many gacha slop out there. It's like actual quality clothes tailor fit for the wealthy that ages like fine wine compared to trendy fast fashion from Shein that everyone'll get tired of next month I'M NOT EVEN JOKING. I'm not exaggerating IT'S SO GOOD AND UNIQUE.

Putting Leona's groovy out here just to fill this post with handsome guys. Leona and Malleus are THE twst hot guys you cannot change my mind.

I WISH MORE PEOPLE KNEW TWST. 😭 I feel like the world is missing out on this. SERIOUSLY. Especially art nerds like me who are inclined to inventive anime style. 😭

When you think about it, Malleus helping out Yuu makes complete sense. He's likely well-versed with every magic their world has to offer, so it's possible that he's already broken down and understood Azul's unique magic just from Yuuta's descriptions.

This is exactly why the writers are avoiding Malleus' participation in events and kept his appearance, while plentiful compared to the other overblotters, to a minimum in the main story before Book 7. No problem really has any chance to challenge him.

In the game, this sequence was presented as if Malleus' random thought was just coincidentally helpful to Yuu, but in the manga they revised it to Malleus actually helping Yuu without giving him the real answer. I think I prefer the manga interpretation because it's in line with him acting like a king who only gives guidance while letting his subjects grow with their own power.

And also the way he's describing the gargoyles as an allegory to himself... Damn.

I know it's not gonna happen but I hope Tsum Malleus is as stout as a flopping seal. An absolute chungus of a unit. A really big boy. So heavy the Tsum stack underneath him would complain from the weight. He's definitely gonna be at the top of the pyramid and no one can do anything about it.

THANK GOD next update likely isn't the final chapter since the story SSR is ROOK and not a Diasomnia member. I mean it's ridiculous if they're gonna end the highly anticipated Book 7 with Rook omfg. I'm thinking maybe at least two more for SSR Silver and Malleus? Twst is unpredictable so I can't guess with confidence, but I'm thinking they would at least release dream Malleus in king or dragon form as a final hurrah for Book 7.
