I have come to the conclusion that it is probably for the best that we bring a close to this roleplay group. It may (or may not) seem like a surprise, and for that, I apologize profusely. I wish I could put into words just how sorry I am. Over the course of these months, personally, I started going back to school again (after not being in school for a few years) and didn’t realize how it would take up so much of my time. I also have been wanting to focus more and more on my academics/getting involved in school so I can get to where I want to go. 

Writing with everyone has been an incredible experience and I am so grateful for everyone that stayed with us till the end. I’m sorry to new players that have just joined, and if I had more time on my hands -- I would definitely be keeping up with this. I just have no time to spare really, and writing has become chore. I’m starting to see it like another homework assignment, which is terrible. This experience has definitely been one that I’ll always keep to my heart and remember fondly of. I won’t forget it. 

Annie and Aj were so helpful and the best co-admins I could ever had. We are all just burnt out. I’m truly grateful for all they did here at VeraVertoRP, and they have been the absolute best. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them. I have enjoyed writing and starting up this group with them. They have really been such a huge backbone to this roleplay and I wish nothing but the best for them and everyone else in this group. 

You are all talented writers and I want to tell you: keep writing. If you love writing, keep doing it. Don’t let this make you break away from writing or hold you back. I have loved reading all the conversations and seeing all that you guys create and I hope that you continue to create art!

If anyone has any questions, I’d be happy to answer them. Again, I apologize for not being able to keep up and having to close down the rp. With that, I want to recommend some other groups if anyone is interested in continuing to roleplay in the marauders era. Good luck to everyone, and I wish you all the best!

As long as they are upfront and let us know they are former members, we will almost always welcome them with open arms! We understand life can be hectic, if someone wishes to come back and write with us when they are more readily available we’d consider it a pleasure.

Update: In a sweeping majority vote, our upcoming plot will involve another dramatic plot drop! Since not everyone wanted to be paired up for it, it will be optional. When we release the event a post will be made for people to like to acknowledge they wish to be paired off with a writing partner. That way only those who wish to be will get paired off. 

If any of you wish for your character’s family to possibly be targeted (no matter their affiliation) please feel free to let us know. It might not be right now, with this upcoming event, but going forward as we unfold more elements of danger within the group we can incorporate your characters if you so wish to do so.
