Can I ask what kind of psd you use on your gifs? They're amazing!

thank you!!!! i don’t usually tend to use a set psd, i’ll make it depending on the video, but they’re usually pretty simple! i’ll get one of the ones i’ve got saved just to give a little show-see

so the before:

and the after:

so this video had like. ZERO contrast so a lot of these layers is getting some of that contrast in

but nothing 2 dramatic, so the levels one is this twice:

and the exposure is this twice:

and actually all the ones for this psd were really subtle

like the curves barely looks like its moved

little bit of vibrance not too over the top

i do have the bad habit of p much just using selective colours for the blacks that i should prob change

again a huge focus on this gif of expanding contrast and the third little arrow adds light in a different way . i can’t explain it but it looks nicer sometimes

and the two unselected brightnesses are just like if the lightning is wonky / etc. like this is the different with one selected

BUT YEAH. my biggest advice is to go from scratch with each gif (which. i know. i know. its annoying !) but even when you’re using other people’s psds just go through and select/unselect everything, make sure everything has a purpose and everything makes it look nice !

edit: OH MY GOD AND. immediately save everything that looks good... the amount of times i’ve been able to re-use something that looks good on one video & it’ll look good on another with just a tiny tweak... save EVERYTHING
