I knwo about bingham but what happened with hargreaves?

he's just been a shit to people and has stinky vibes

he sheltered bingham and didn't speak up about the allegations, and yet when another crew member was accused of equally bad behavior they were kicked off the team almost immediately

since he's taken over, things seem more money oriented, he doesn't seem like he's doing it because it's something he loves and sees EW more as a way to make a buck (moving 90% of the content to patreon, making the discord paid access only, pushing the merch angle super hard, putting sponsored ads in videos) it just feels really scummy and this is mostly speculation but it just doesn't feel like he cares about it

he's also said some really abelist and shitty stuff to/about fans

also there was a blog that was documenting like everything at the height of all of this, like when bingham was accused and all that, had a google doc tracking it all and everything and it "mysteriously was deleted" one day out of the blue with no explanation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

imo hargreaves and bingham are shit stains and they don't deserve your attention, let alone your money

I’ve. Kind of fallen out of love with Eddsworld.

And that happens, of course it does. Things change, interests change, you find new things to fixate on. But the behavior of Hargreaves, Bingham, and other members of the crew haven’t helped that. They’ve definitely driven a wedge into my desire to stay interested in EW, both with their actions and with the content they’ve released. Maybe I’m looking through the eyes of someone already jaded by their behavior, but everything they’ve done recently has just felt petty, mean, and carries the stink of “doing it for the money”, not people who love what they’re doing.

Losing respect and getting hurt by the creators of a thing you loved? Yeah, you don’t come back from that. It leaves a mark. And it fucking sucks.

Did being reminded of my TMNT love drag me away from EW? Yeah of course it fucking did. But the gap was already there. I was already unhappy and drifting away. TMNT just gave me somewhere to go.

I’m still going to finish Nighted Doors. I love Nighted Doors. I worked too hard on it not to finish it. It’s fun. And as far as I’m concerned, it’s not Eddsworld. It’s mine. It’s my baby. My horrible, bloody, traumatizing, wretched little baby.

So. Yeah. Not really into EW anymore. Just letting you all know why this blog is basically dead. And I think admitting it to myself too. Get it off my chest.

Dont get me wrong, the comic today is cool and all. But I cant feel good about it because it feels very back handed to the fandom. Like once again, harg/Reeves is mocking us.

It literally does say "Not canon" at the top and how it's written also feels like a slap. A "hehe they'll never get what they want." With all the statements Matt has said about the fandom, the comic today felt targeted.

So make him regret it. Make him regret that he approved of this and see the fandom is spirited and happy over a popular ship being drawn. You cant fucking post that comic with a cocky smirk and then laugh at the fandom being happy about it. You fuck. Celebrate it and shove that mother fucker into the dirt that he dare mock the fandom in such a way.

To start off, the leftbound is a universe opposite to Eddsworld's. Similar but also unlike the mirror universe, Ellsworld.

Edd is the heart of this world. He is complete control of it. Everything was almost exactly like the Rightbound universe, until Edd begun to twist.

Labyrinths where made. Each for one of the main boys. Although Edd is the heart, the others are like his organs. They are connected to him and so is the world around them.

Each of the boys designs are based off a death. Edd's is the World of Edd, Matt is Halloween Special (2005), Tom is Halloween Special (2007), and Tord's is Zombeh Attack 2.

Hoard, Silhouette, and Plauge can move in between the different labyrinths. They don't and can't do a whole lot when they're in them however.

It has come to the attention of I and many others that there has been some disrespect going on between Tumblr users who like to draw ship art of the Eddsworld characters and those who do not like to see certain ships. I will not name names or point fingers, but this needs to be addressed. Making art of these ships is absolutely okay to do as long as it is not problematic! We want Tumblr to be a safe place for those who use it as their outlet for art.

To any newcomers entering the Eddsworld fandom: most of us Eddhead veterans are in our late teens or early twenties so most of us are adults. WE'VE BEEN THROUGH THE WRINGER AND WE KNOW THE DRILL:

The fictional characters are not the real people, so yes, it is okay to ship the fictional characters. We know the difference between the fictional characters and the real people.

DO NOT bash those who ship certain characters together. DO NOT comment on a post of ship art you don't like just to tell the artist you don't like it. They spent a lot of time making that and it is very disrespectful to the artist. They have every right to take offense to your comment. Even if you were to say "Nice art but I don't ship it" is still considered disrespectful.

If you see something you don't like either scroll past it, filter out the tags, or block the person. It's really that simple! You do not have to interact with the art or the artist.

Also, T.H.I.N.K. before you speak, please! What has been said many times before needs to be said again.
