Project doll, price reflects the problems.

Dyed with unfinished faceup. Head is a bit more yellow than the body, but not super noticeable irl. Dye is uneven in some spots (can take additional photos for interested buyers)

Body needs restringing and suede, possibly wiring. I have the Ring Doll box from the body, no coa for either, but bought both from legit collectors.

Can wipe or finish faceup if wanted for no extra cost.

Momocolor Lucy on Luts Honey Self 31 body (plus extra hands) 120€

Hybrid project I abandoned. Body is Luts Dark Tan, head is a bit lighter. It is not as bad as the photos make it look, idk what's the problem with my camera. Can try to take nicer photos with dlsr for interested buyers.

Pretty sure I have a box for the body, I'm not sure if I got a coa from the seller, I'll have to dig out my folder.

It's quite yellowed, and one of the previous owners started sanding it because of that. I'm at least the third owner. I can take additional photos for interested buyers.

It is very loose and will need restringing, possibly needs a new elastic as well.

No coa and no box, but I have photos of the head that originally belonged to it.

All of these were bought from legit collectors and people I trust. I'm strictly pro artist.

I can't rec requiem art designs patterns enough, they have some 1/4 girl patterns, not sure of boys. But she even has a learn to sew bundle that has step by step instructions and photos on it. Use their website and not. Their Etsy, it has less fees eating their well deserved profits.

I also rec Lomi's playground and Missy's imaginings they both have YouTube channels and websites with free patterns so if you follow along you can pickup some good tips or help you figure out the order to sew things in (which can honestly be hard since you often do it in different order than you do people scale)

If you want to draft your own patterns a good starting point is the tape method, shown by Missy here.

1/4 BJD sewing (for someone who knew how to sew like 10 years ago)

hello! i'm looking to get back into sewing, specifically try my hand at doll clothes. mostly skirts, dresses, pants, and vests/blouses. i was wondering if there are any good starting points/patterns/resources for starting out? i'd love to be able to draft my own patterns someday, but i think i need to figure out some other things before that.

if anyone has any advice, it'd be really appreciated(and hopefully others will find it helpful too!)

Got in my resinsoul Shan body for my LT Craft head. She's eventually getting dyed light pink with some black accents.

I also ordered the Li upper torso for my bunny hybrid wip.

And Shan's antlers because I'm a horn addict. Since this head already has extra magnets in her head I used her to try out the antlers.

If you want a specific doll it's best to buy it opened off of AliExpress after it's released, it's usually only a few dollars more... Well unless it's the rare/hidden ones.

I hate blind boxes so much, but at least if it's only a few bucks it's more tenable. These guys are like $40 each, that's insane to do a blind box for that!

So I've picked up some interesting trims to use on this as I'm really wanting a lot of texture. It's hard to say which trim to go with until I get in the green fabric I'll be using for this project but if I was staying with the mustard that combo of bead trim and ostrich feathers would win.
