I LOVE THIS, I love like this "Whumpee sees fine and/or believes they're fine but turns out they aren't nearly as fine as people thought" so like this is BEAUTIFUL, thank you so much for this :33

whumpee is captured and held for some time---but eventually, they're rescued, with whumper having fled. whumpee seems mostly unharmed, and tells only a story of simple imprisonment, not having been particularly mistreated. this surprises team---but, hey, it's not necessarily a bad thing, right? even if it doesn't align with how whumper seems to function? eventually, team moves on, just glad to be reunited.

until they confront whumper again as a team. whumpee seems normal---until whumper just says the word, and whumpee immediately starts attacking their friends like a vicious feral animal. that's essentially what they are now; an animal, made to do whatever whumper orders them to, never to disobey.

even if that order is to "blend in".

I LOVE this– and like maybe they probably even blocked out most of the conditioning process, and what they do remember is so normalized that they believe other people are just being weird/weak/whatever when they react badly, and are just like "This is why I don't talk about my time with Whumper, it tends to ruin the mood", like completely casually XDDD

Living weapon whumpee that doesn't even fully realize they had been conditioned.

Whumper taught them that any person can be a threat, any person could harm them and it was their duty to protect them, so what if Whumpee is bigger, or looks stronger? That doesn't mean a thing.

Whumper showed them that even people that look defenseless can harm them, and that they have to protect the person in charge of them now.

Even when they are rescued, and Caretaker tries to make sure everything is fine, Whumpee knows best.

That annoying roommate of Caretaker could hurt them anytime. They can't be trusted and Whumpee knows it.

It was an accident what happened next, of course. Roommate had just fallen down the stairs. It was just an accident.

Caretaker cried and all of that, but at least now they were safe. They were so safe with Whumpee protecting them.

Fun bug fact, to maybe help spread the info a little: there is a bug species, Regimbartia attenuata, that runs through a frog's digestive system to avoid being digested, with Shinji Sugiura finding this to be applicable to all frog species and 93.33% of bugs escaping through the frog's butt– it takes them at least 6 minutes and at most about 4 hours to make that journey, with the bug itself being four or five millimeters (1.5748-1.9685 inches) in length :3

COURT UPDATE

Note the different color ⬆️ it's good news but the trial isn't over yet.

I called my Public Defender and he told me that there is a new prosecutor! Which, if you've been following my story, is a remarkably good thing since this one isn't on an inquisition for me.

Even though he has yet to respond to my PD, my PD has a very good feeling that the case will either be dropped or diversioned. Diversion is basically being let off with a warning and told to keep my nose clean for a certain period.

Anyway, my trial is at 1:30pm Central Standard Time...so...wish me luck. 😓

Also also also Whumper letting a conditioned Whumpee choose the music maybe, like for times the torture is not a punishment, just something Whumper does to amuse themselves maybe I think– there's also comedic potential in that though, like Whumper and Whumpee casually discussing what music to put in before Whumper tortures Whumpee in a very painful manner, and they just recount this casually after being rescued or to a caretaker they have while with Whumper or something and they're just like "??????" XDDD

Whumper likes playing music while torturing whumpee. Now imagine if whumpee starts to sing along (between screaming in pain of course). Bonus points if it's a relatively obscure song and it turns out whumper and whumpee have the same taste in music.

I LOVE that... mine would go more in the direction of a whumpee who's already had pretty bad life experiences and so they love Caretaker to hell and back, idolize them, all that... and then things start getting weird as Caretaker becomes more posessive, controlling... but like, it can't be UNHEALTHY, right? I mean Caretaker always knew better what love is than they did, besides, Caretakerxbeing posessive at first makes them feel a little prized, even, but then Caretaker starts with discipline, like whumping them because they just... just need to make Whumpee behave (and kinda like the sense of power it makes then feel over Whumpee, but shhh), and then it get's worse and worse, and Whumpee starts realizing this is REALLY not okay at this point, and they PANIC. They don't really know what to do, or say, but yhey start begging the now Whumper to listen to them, to talk to them, to tell them what's going on, saying they don't even recognize them anymore and to just be their Caretaker again, to let this be a nightmare because "Caretaker" is all they have... but Whumper knows their weak points, don't they? Exactly what to do or say to make Whumpee MELT, and besides, the times they do comply, Whumper is a lot like their old self (except still more sadistic and posessive in their affections, but still affectionate), so eventually, they start believing Whumper when they try to convince them that they do this all out of love (which Whumper genuinely believes, so it technically isn't a lie), and eventually, Whumpee just... learns to like it, I mean this is still Caretaker, even if they show their love differently, isn't it? And Caretaker is someone they could trust to love and care for them always, it's not like they have anyone else...

Okay but what about Whumper who used to be Caretaker? Whumpee trusted and loved them but they went mad and couldn’t help themselves in possessing Whumpee in every way possible. Whumpee was their perfect treasure. Their little pet to do whatever they pleased with.

And then as Whumpee is dealing with the betrayal and struggling to fight back because this is Caretaker who they love, Whumper goes too far. Whumpee breaks.

Also also let me add– Whumpee breaks a different way than it was mentioned in the tags, as in they just, you know... their sense of reality starts breaking down and everything, partially because they can't really deal with the cognitive dissonance of "this is the one person who cares for me no matter what and has always rushed to my aid when I needed it" vs "this person took me and is treating me like their pet and that is not okay" and especially as Whumper is careful with Whumpee in this scenario and only punishes them if they disobey/try to escape (like the "I don't want to hurt you but you made me do this" type of thing) and they otherwise hold them and care for them still, just like a pet, not as a friend, and so eventually their brain just eventually decides that this is okay because I mean this is CARETAKER and like when has caretaker ever wanted to hurt them??? So they just... become heavily conditioned enough to believe that that is what true love is before they can get Whumper back to being their caretaker... if I didn't have massive writer's block I swear I'd write something for it, or at least try dkdmfjdmddm

I went to two sessions of acupuncture therapy with a tic disorder- my last session lasted over an hour, and I was left alone with nobody watching me, and in addition I was covered with a thin blanket (that was probably so I don't get cold or whatever originally), and I had needles in my arms, legs, and maybe back, and basically every little movement moved the needles thanks to the blanket, so with each tic I had, it hurt more, and one or two even fell out– long story short, this could be a whump idea so I though I'd add XDD

A very good way to torture someone without a lot of visible markings would be to restrain them somehow then just use them as a pin cushion. Believe me, as someone who has pricked herself way too many times while sewing, it hurts! Now imagine taking a pin and shoving it into a poor whumpee's body, maybe an inch or so. Maybe the pin is shoved in or maybe it's slowly pushed, dragging out the pain. Then maybe whumper wiggles the embedded pins, running their fingernail over the round tops of the pins. There's nothing whumpee can do about it and it would hurt so much. Then the pins have to be removed.

#needles are ouchie #and I found out then that acupuncture isn't for everyone/ht #it was my second full body acupuncture session by the way #and the body's mom tried to tell me I'm just being dramatic at first and to at least try #but I told her never again XDDD #so yes- #needles #needles tw
