I absolutely adore the fact that there's this small timeframe window where the heaviest penguin fledgeling is equal to the lightest adult penguin.
And I had to draw this with LilShade and Quil AKFHAKFHA
Anna: so what's you're favorite thing to do in hell- roaring mountain?
Rusty: get shot at.
Anna: oh-
Anna: what about you Scruff?
Scruff: oh, you know. Wolverines.
Anna asked the two wolfdog bros how they were doing and their replies couldn't be any more blunt. She's probably taken the hint that this specific place is more PVP-enabled than expected *whEEZE*
"you keep visiting us, it's pretty endearing honestly."
"it's nice to have a visitor! Even if it's of the avian kind"
"oh! The helicopter is gonna arrive in a day or two! We must be getting going up that mountain then, see you later, ghost!"
"we'll tell Mai we saw you! She'll be happy to know you're well"
Shawn keeps visiting the two humans for the two weeks they're stuck on the island, and when they finally begin to leave for their little danger trek, he's obviously torn between letting them go or being their guide...

Shawn: hey Anna, I got something I need to tell you.
Anna: sup Shawn! What is it?
Shawn: I've decided. I'm guiding those two humans up the toughest mountain.
Anna: *Chokes on coffee*

LilShade had snuck out at night to show violet the tallest mountain, que them sneaking back into the house only to witness Shawn and Quil at the door!
Quil: Soo... Do we gotta have a talk or-
LilShade: PA NO!
Quil: lol
Lilshade: wait why are you BOTH sneaking out!?
Shawn: I thought you were ASLEEP! We just wanted to see the Aurora borealis!
Nothing like late night questioning that'll end up with the four of them choosing to see the latest natural wonder happening on the island!

Shawn: the two humans have taken residency in the ski lodge for now.
Mai: ah! That's a relief! There will be a helicopter from the research ship coming in a week. But it will be touching down ontop of the toughest mountain. I tried to tell them not but you know how people are.
Shawn: ah...
Mai: hopefully, the two will be ok getting up the mountain!
Mai: as for you, I know what you're thinking. Don't do anything foolish.
Shawn: hmm... alright Mai.
Shawn giving Mai a little update on the two stranded himans and she tells him that they'll be out of the island in a week. Also tells Shawn to not do anything reckless after hearing that information.
But we all know Shawn, reckless is his middle name.

Anna is so used to Dan being talkative that when the day comes that Dan isn't as talkative as he used to be, it's probably a system shock for Anna.

Quil is so confused about the entire thing and thought Shawn was dealing with a similar problem. Except Shawn does not have this situation happen in his home and Anna keyed in on this and thus, is about to begin laughing XD

All fun and games for Anna until she finds herself victim to slight menace babi shade herself! How did he get up there? Nobody knows!

His menace days continued into his school years too. Poor Anna is so confused on why lil shade just has a door.
Suddenly timeskip!
Mai: just a heads up fellas! A few humans accidentally ran out of fuel and are stuck on the island. It'll be a while until we can get to them
Anna: how Does one "accidentally" run out of fuel?
Mai: ....ok they crashed the helicopter
Anna: oh-
Violet: ARE YOU FOR REAL!?
LilShade: maaayybe we should check on them?
Mai still checks in on her penguin buds whenever she's off island and is always available to tell them ahead of time when to expect a sudden human event. Except this time that human event is a prolonged one because they accidentally botched a Landing and whoops they're stuck! Anna is unamused.
And the finale! Who takes up the job of greeting these accidental visitors?

Anna: Shawn, when Clover got this she was lucky to have a strong immunity. You don't HAVE her immunity!
Anna is rightfully worried for Shawn. If avian flu had clover completely out for a week then what the hell is it going to do to Shawn?
Suddenly Dan and dot moment-
Dot: fell asleep on the sofa again?
Dan: mhmm...
Dot: Shawn's tough, I believe he'll hopefully pull through
Dan: I'm still terrified. We technically lost Shade. Sure we got him back but...
Dan: I'm certain we don't want to feel that emotional pain again.
Dot:.. you're right there, If anything I'm terrified too.
Dan keeps falling asleep on the sofa while Shawn isn't well so dot ends up joining him to make sure he's able to sleep properly, she's just as terrified as he is

In other news, new Shadow jitsu passive ability! Shadow is an absence of light, under certain circumstances, in rikis case that's anger, he can drown out the light in the area and turn himself into a walking Shadow.
