So is this group still alive? There hasn't been an update in months

The game is still proceeding as normal. We're simply unsure if we want to share anything publicly after what happened with Gold x Glitter. I do not want my players having their OCs stolen because people online don't know boundaries.

WM does not have closing arguments, working on a format similar to past Angelop games!

This has been answered before. Short answer: no there won't be. Tumblr pages no longer support Javascript and making an entire website was too much work that we don't want to do again.

Who does the art for the characters because they are GORGEOUS. My favorite has to be Yu-Mi but all of them are pretty!

The roster art is a collaborative effort. I (snow) did all the sketches and some lineart, Dao did most of the lineart, and Rei did all the colouring.

Our social media links are on the blog's theme but here are our tumblr pages (I admit I'm not very active with posting though lol)

I am very sorry for the character opinion table that I told you a while ago, it was not really my intention to make the creators of the OC's feel bad.

I am a huge fan of yours and the last thing I wanted was to cause that, after talking about it with my boyfriend he gave me the idea of ​​changing the words on the table for the roles that the characters can occupy like a killer, survivor and stuff, so that I don't waste the table that took me 4 hours to make and at the same time as a small thing that Winter Masquerade fans can do.

I don't know if you like the idea of ​​the death prediction table, but if you don't want it, that's fine with me, but I just want to help the Winter Masquerade fandom a little, I feel that if it is now a role table it still works as an activity for the fandom without harming the oc's and their creators.

As we cannot control how something like that is used, while you are free to theorise privately, we would unfortunately simply rather not that for the comfort of our players, especially after certain experiences from previous games.

Eh I don't know if you're interested but I made a table of opinions of the Winter Masquerade characters on my Tumblr.

I did it just for fun and because I love Winter Masquerade in general, I feel like it's one of their best projects and I love it.

I have also seen that in some fandoms they usually make the opinion table as a part of the community and I wanted to make it for those who want to make the table.

Again, thank you very much for allowing us to know and love this project and on behalf of the little Latin fandom that there is, I send you a big greeting, many hugs and support from this part of the world.

Hi, we appreciate your support and are flattered by your interest in our project! However, we'd like to make it clear that this is an RP group and not a fangan; each cast member in Winter Masquerade belongs to a player who has put much love and thought into them. Something like that can be misconstrued and cause some of our players distress with their characters being publicly rated in this manner. We ask simply to take down the post, since it could be hurtful to witness negativity towards your character.

You are free to keep following along with the game through the blog and Youtube channel, but please understand that ranking our players' characters is against our level of comfort.

There will not be, unfortunately! It was deemed too inconvenient as tumblr pages no longer allow Javascript, and making a separate website for GxG was a lot of work.

Hello! It's been a bit but we are happy to announce that we have a roster drop date. Roster drop will be happening January 20th at 2 pm EST. We will also be making a generalized app critique doc which will hopefully be posted soon after the roster drop. We will not be providing personalized feedback however.

Roster Decided!

After looking through the apps and careful deliberation, we have at last chosen our roster! We have also decided on our power role(s) and contacted them.

As stated before, please do not ask when roster will be dropping. We'll make an announcement when there is a final date.

Thank you all for your interest in Winter Masquerade! We were blown away by the number of apps we received, and narrowing them down was a difficult decision. We hope you look forward to future news!

Application period has officially ended. We will not be accepting any more apps. The submitted hopefuls list has been updated for the final time. If you submitted but your app isn't on there, let us know.

In the meantime, we do not want to receive questions about when is the roster dropping and how far along we are or if we've decided the roster yet. If that happens, we'll reject your app because we do not want to be rushed and we really don't want to hear it.

We'll post any important updates when they happen so please have patience with us.

Can we have a character with a fake/replacement talent? EX: A character who is a Caretaker is actually an Assassin.

Please read over the app and the FAQ before sending questions. On the app itself, there is a section for a cover talent/occupation, so yes they're allowed.

Can the places our character come from be fictional (not fantasy just fictional countries)

Yes, but we expect there to be enough world building done to fully flesh out the fictional country. So it will be met with more scrutiny/require more work.
