NEW YORK TRAVELOGUE - KC Diomampo
In my experience, many people believe that New Yorkers are smarter than other Americans, and this may actually be true. The majority of people who live in New York City were not born here. Indeed, more than a third were not born in the United States. New Yorkers, then, are people who left another place and came here, looking for something, which suggests that the population is preselected for higher energy and ambition.
What I see: snow everywhere, new faces, new surroundings to explore.
What I smell : cold breeze of air freezing my nose.
What I feel: cold breeze of air riffling my hair and hands.

LAS VEGAS - Nerisse Badillo
My trip started the 21st of May of the year 2013 to Las Vegas, Nevada in USA. The next day we went to visit skyscrapers like the Stratosphere Tower and the Mandalay Bay Center. There´s a room full of crystals at the top of the Stratosphere called Sky Deck. You can watch the entire city from that point, I felt amazed by the view. Even the floor was crystal, when you look downward you feel like you are going to fall. You barely distinguish people and cars in the streets from that tallness. I liked to jump in the Sky Deck because of the feeling of adrenalin, although people stared at me like if I was crazy. That same day I went to dinner with my family at the top of the Mandalay Bay Center, another huge hotel. The view was unique, incomparable. The city was full of lights and my family took many photos of the view. Although I didn’t enjoy the food, I had a great time talking with my family and enjoying the view.
What I see:
I saw many bright lights and tall towers.
What I hear:
I heard people talking, singing, and shouting along the streets.
What I smell:
I smelled smoke, food, and alcohol.
What I taste:
I tasted the sourness of my dole whip drink.
What I feel:
I felt happy being there, and seeing so many beautiful sights.

Jen Tan - Performance Task in English
My favourite place as of this moment is the city of Chicago. It is located in the East of the United States. Chicago is considered to be one of the most populated city in the country. With that being said, it is a very busy city with very city people. Everyone has their own agenda to attend to on a daily which is one of the reasons why I’ve grown to love this place. I am more fond of the city more than the province. I like seeing action and I also like walking on a fast pace. Chicago is such an underrated destination to visit to. There are a lot of fun activities and tourist spots that you can go to take pictures and make memories.

Ang Boracay ay isang lugar na magandang mamasyal and buong pamilya. Ang sabi ng mga tao, ang Boracay ay isang paraiso. Nakikita natin ang mga larawan sa mga babasahin, pero masmaganda kung pupuntahan natin at makita ang tunay na ganda ng Boracay. Pag naglalakad sa maputing buhangin ng Boracay, ay mahahalintulad natin sa ulap. Maraming tao sa iba’t ibang bansa ay pumupunta sa Boracay dahil sa kanyang kagandahan.
Noong ako ay nakarating sa Boracay ay hindi ko makakalimutan. Maraming pwedeng gawin, pero ilan lang ang aking nagawa. Ako ay sumakay sa bangka at nag parasailing. Napakaganda ang tanawin pag ikaw ay nasa itaas. Ang tubig ng dagat ay kulay asul at ang puti ng buhangin. Magandang maglakad sa tabi ng dagat. Naalala ko noong ako ay naglalakad, at pinagmamasdan ko ang kagandahan ng Boracay. Ang pagkain ay napakasariwa at masarap. Ang Boracay ay isang lugar, na siguradong babalikan ko at mairerekomenda ko so aking pamilya at kaibigan.

Dito sa EK, Maraming bagay ang pwendeng gawin. dito makakasama mo ang iyong mga kaibigan at pamilya. dito sa EK, sumakay ako sa ibat ibang mga rides at nakakatakot na sasakyan kagaya ng roller coaster, horror house at iba pa. sa murang halaga makakapag saya ka na ng isang buong araw at maraming mga pagkain at bilihin rin dito. Marami akong bagay na nagawa dito na kinakatakot ko noon at ngayon ay hindi na kasi nasubukan ko na. masaya at nakakalibang makipag bonding dito kasama pamilya at kaibigan.
Ang EK ay nasa may Sta. Rosa Laguna at napakadaling puntahan. Siguradong mag eenjoy ang buong pamilya lalong lalo na tayong kabataan dahil tayo ay mahilig sa mga “extreme rides” na dito lang sa EK makikita! Kay sasarap pa ng pagkain, at magaganda ang iba’t ibang souvenir na mabibili dito upang hindi makalimutan ang magandang pagbisita sa EK.

[Baguio] - Jen Tan
Noong mga unang araw ng bakasyon sa ekuwela, bumisita ako ng Baguio kasama ang aking pamilya.
Tumira kami sa The Manor @ Camp John Hay, isa ito sa mga pangunahing atraksuong panturista dahil sa kaniyang arkitektura na gawa sa kahoy.
Ang Baguio ay tinutukoy bilang “mountain town” at “summer capital” ng Pilipinas dahil sa malamig na klema at masaganang kalikasan na matatagpo sa lungsod na ito. Madami kang makikitang bundok, iba’t ibang klaseng puno, at mga mga hayop na hindi pangkaraniwan.
Marami ka rin ditong makikita na popular na atraksyon katulad ng Mines View Park, BenCab Museum, The Mansion, atbp. Magagandang tanawin na nakakaganda sa ating makiramdam at maaliwalas sa ating paningin. Parang ka na rin bumisita ng ibang bansa sa tipid na presyo magagastos mo.
Dito sa Baguio, maraming mga kainan na masasarapan ng madaming tao.
Sariwa ang mga gulay, at prutas na mabibili mo sa mababang halaga. Madalas, ang inuuwi ng mga turista pabalik sa kanilang lugar ay nga presa at tinapay na pasas pang pasalubong sa kanilang mga kaibigan.
Bukod sa mga pagkain, mura rin ang mga bagay katulad ng mga walis, dekorasyon sa bahay, souvenir items, atbp.
Ang isa pang katangian na iyong masaksihan ang mga mababait at magagalang na ugali ng mga tao rito. Madali silang kausap lalo na kapag nagtatanong ka ng direksyon kung saang lugar nais mong pumunta. Hindi rin mahirap ang transportasyon sa daming taxi at mga triciycle na mayroon.
Sa bubuaan, ang Baguio ay isang lugar kung saan makakatakas sa ciudad at madaling makalimutan ang mga responsibilidad at problema.

“ What does social change personally mean to you? Is it important? What advocacies do you support?”
- Personally, social change is when you change the way you are for better while learning from new experiences as you grow. It is important for it makes us a better person. I support ASC (advocacy of social change) because this is a program creates common platform where stakeholders from all level can participate and voice their demand on issues that significantly impacts welfare of general population and society.

EQ: “What is the difference between image/reputation and character?”
A person’s reputation is the overall quality or character as seen or judged by people in general while character is defined as the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. This means that no matter how bad or good you are seen by the eyes of other people, this does not reflect who you truly are. We should not be affected by the judgements made by others for only we know who we really are.
