My new boss is SO passive aggressive and last week after my evaluation she said to me "Oh, by the way, are you supposed to be working until 8 or 830?"

The time card program we use automatically deducts 30 minutes from any shift longer than 6 hours, to account for a lunch break. So they schedule us 2000-830 to account for the lunch break being deducted.

However, I don't take a lunch break. There's no one to cover me. So I usually leave at 8a because I don't get a break.

But this passive aggressive used cunt rag wants to let me know she's watching my time and will punish me if she catches me "leaving early".

So my petty ass is going to stay in my chair until 830. I'm not working, day shift is here and there is nothing for me to do but if she wants me to milk that extra 30 minutes into my paycheck, I will.

I'll be upfront with my opinion, which mirrors my opinion in regards to my field: using AI will only hasten your own obsolescence. The point of fanfiction is not to crank out fics, but rather to enjoy the hobby and communities of writing and fandom.

#what sense of accomplishment do you gain from AI fics? #youre not gaining anything monetary #nor did you really make any effort towards a creation #fics let you explore themes and characters and styles #and envelop yourself in the worlds you love #while creating and contributing to the experience of fandom #and at the end your reward is reaching out and connecting with people who resonate with what you created with time and effort #theres no real sense in accomplishment in letting an AI do all the work #also AI sucks at actually making anything quality lol #when it comes to mimicking human creativity at least #its devoid of soul
