You guys rlly don't realise how much knowledge is still not committed to the internet. I find books all the time with stuff that is impossible to find through a search engine- most people do not put their magnum opus research online for free and the more niche a skill is the less likely you are to have people who will leak those books online. (Nevermind all the books written prior to the internet that have knowledge that is not considered "relevant" enough to digitise).

Whenever people say that we r growing up with all the world's knowledge at our fingertips...it's not necessarily true. Is the amount of knowledge online potentially infinite? Yes. Is it all knowledge? No. You will be surprised at the niche things you can discover at a local archive or library.

Although I pictured Jude a certain way (physically) while reading the books, it really doesn't make much difference to the romance aspect of the trilogy. They didn't struggle with their feelings because Jude was ugly/plain/gorgeous. They struggled because their stations in the social hierarchy were polar opposites, yet they both resented each other. Cardan was a prince who saw his station as a play. He had no support network, his guardian beat him for fun, his friends were just using his birthright to get away with being turds. When Jude looked at him, she saw a spoiled prince who did whatever pleased him, blessed with being born into it and reminding her she would never be like them. And then Jude, who saw herself as human/weak/lesser than. Who spent 10 years letting insults slide and hiding under tables in hopes of raising enough in the hierarchy to - even if not truly belong there - at least be left the fuck alone. Cardan looked at her and saw the General's favoured daughter, raised as Gentry, never in rags or forgotten if she were to sleep on stables. Jude reminded Cardan what he did not have despite being a prince.

Part 206 of my bakery “enemies” au!

THE END!! I can't believe I finally completed this. When I first started this comic, I had no idea that it would end up being this long. A little over 3 years and over 200 parts, so around 2000 panels. (My folder that holds all my files relating to this comic is 3 GB with 2,017 items....). I honestly can't believe that I managed to stick around to the end of this. Thank you all so much for the support, I never imagined that so many people would care about this comic when I started it!

Of course, there are still some loose threads. The kwamis and Nathalie for example, but the core of this series has always been about the emotional conflict between Marinette and Adrien, and that has been resolved. I have some epilogue ideas to cover those loose ends, but this comic has already taken so much of my time and I'm not sure I want to promise that I'll get around to it. ... But who knows. Maybe!

For now, Adrien and Marinette will get some long-deserved rest.

if your problem is being too optimistic to cry, you need to become optimistic that you will cry

the easiest way to make your eyes water is not to blink, so when you're about to cry, don't blink back tears, just stare

yeah - stare for a while, without blinking, and don't talk yourself out of anything. let your feelings wash over you, sit in what hurts, telling yourself you're going to cry until it releases everything that's affecting you

sometimes you've got to play up what hurts, too, but I don't recommend that quite as much in case it backfires

a bit of a more serious subject,

in real life I'm an optimist and I always like to see on the bright side of situations, even if things are really bad. because of this I find it extremely difficult for me to cry.

every time I feel emotional and I feel like I might have an opportunity to cry, I always talk myself out of it. I know things will get better, so I stop myself from feeling those emotions.

I would give anything to be able to cry sometimes, crying is an amazing and healthy outlet for overwhelming emotions. sadly though, I haven't been able to cry in a very long time, and it's been seriously affecting my mental health.

I wanted to ask, does anybody have any advice for ways I could convince my brain to let me cry and feel these emotions?
