It’s not like I want to depict Inaho and Slaine as Kiritsugu and Irisviel from anime Fate Zero. I just think that I can put Inasure prison let it be romantic story sort of in something like the picture series on Fate Zero’s ending song ‘Sora wa Takaku Kaze wa Utau’

Imagine and write the story as wild as your imagination wants! For example, like, Slaine was incarcerated, but then Inaho took her out from the prison--on the many levels of ‘take her out’ phrase can be xD xD 

Just...make sure that Inaho and fem!Slaine must have happily ever after ending! *wink wink

Helpful things for action writers to remember

Sticking a landing will royally fuck up your joints and possibly shatter your ankles, depending on how high you’re jumping/falling from. There’s a very good reason free-runners dive and roll. 

Hand-to-hand fights usually only last a matter of seconds, sometimes a few minutes. It’s exhausting work and unless you have a lot of training and history with hand-to-hand combat, you’re going to tire out really fast. 

Arrows are very effective and you can’t just yank them out without doing a lot of damage. Most of the time the head of the arrow will break off inside the body if you try pulling it out, and arrows are built to pierce deep. An arrow wound demands medical attention. 

Throwing your opponent across the room is really not all that smart. You’re giving them the chance to get up and run away. Unless you’re trying to put distance between you so you can shoot them or something, don’t throw them. 

Everyone has something called a “flinch response” when they fight. This is pretty much the brain’s way of telling you “get the fuck out of here or we’re gonna die.” Experienced fighters have trained to suppress this. Think about how long your character has been fighting. A character in a fist fight for the first time is going to take a few hits before their survival instinct kicks in and they start hitting back. A character in a fist fight for the eighth time that week is going to respond a little differently. 

ADRENALINE WORKS AGAINST YOU WHEN YOU FIGHT. THIS IS IMPORTANT. A lot of times people think that adrenaline will kick in and give you some badass fighting skills, but it’s actually the opposite. Adrenaline is what tires you out in a battle and it also affects the fighter’s efficacy - meaning it makes them shaky and inaccurate, and overall they lose about 60% of their fighting skill because their brain is focusing on not dying. Adrenaline keeps you alive, it doesn’t give you the skill to pull off a perfect roundhouse kick to the opponent’s face. 

Swords WILL bend or break if you hit something hard enough. They also dull easily and take a lot of maintenance. In reality, someone who fights with a sword would have to have to repair or replace it constantly.

Fights get messy. There’s blood and sweat everywhere, and that will make it hard to hold your weapon or get a good grip on someone. 

A serious battle also smells horrible. There’s lots of sweat, but also the smell of urine and feces. After someone dies, their bowels and bladder empty. There might also be some questionable things on the ground which can be very psychologically traumatizing. Remember to think about all of the character’s senses when they’re in a fight. Everything WILL affect them in some way. 

If your sword is sharpened down to a fine edge, the rest of the blade can’t go through the cut you make. You’ll just end up putting a tiny, shallow scratch in the surface of whatever you strike, and you could probably break your sword. 

ARCHERS ARE STRONG TOO. Have you ever drawn a bow? It takes a lot of strength, especially when you’re shooting a bow with a higher draw weight. Draw weight basically means “the amount of force you have to use to pull this sucker back enough to fire it.” To give you an idea of how that works, here’s a helpful link to tell you about finding bow sizes and draw weights for your characters.  (CLICK ME)

If an archer has to use a bow they’re not used to, it will probably throw them off a little until they’ve done a few practice shots with it and figured out its draw weight and stability. 

People bleed. If they get punched in the face, they’ll probably get a bloody nose. If they get stabbed or cut somehow, they’ll bleed accordingly. And if they’ve been fighting for a while, they’ve got a LOT of blood rushing around to provide them with oxygen. They’re going to bleed a lot.

THE PLAN

Welcome to the initial planning document for the Inaho Birthday Week Event, where we intensely and passionately appreciate Inaho Kaizuka! He’s 18 this year! CONGRATULATIONS NOT DYING, INAHO, THAT’S A REAL ACHIEVEMENT CONSIDERING WHAT YOU WENT THROUGH.

So far the idea is to have an AMBITIOUS 7-DAY, 7-PART celebration that allows ALL TALENTS to participate in a week of inasanity.

Orange ya pumped already?

The celebration will last from the 7th of February to the 14th of Feburary - yes, it’ll start on his birthday (well… the second one? Maybe? Oh A.Z why do you play with us so!) and end on Valentines Day so it’s either the Egglord or your significant other. There can only be one.

Well, joking aside, the prompts and other things will be released daily (somewhere…) but you can message me or one of the other VIPs of the event (Very Inaho People) to get the information early to prepare! So if you see yourself busy during the BIRTHDAY BONANZA you can prepare ahead of time. Be smart and practical, just like Inaho!

THE THEMES

He might have all the emotional sensitivity as a cardboard box and have only a slightly wider range of expressions, but know that Inaho is far from a flat character (he’s more of a rectangular prism). And naturally, simply have to celebrate all of them!

THE ACTIVITIES

We’re really going above and beyond with this one, A.Z fam! Fics? Art? Bah! Inaho Kaizuka is a multifaceted character who never backs down against impossible odds, and we aim to emulate that indomitable spirit in our celebration activities. We also aim to murder our social lives because that, too, is an important aspect of Inaho’s character.

Please note that you do NOT have to do every single one of these every day - in fact, that is seriously not recommended guys I’m not even sure it’s humanly possible. Health comes first.

WRITING

Fanfiction, of course! And poetry, confessions, headcanons, what have you. A big staple of every fandom and naturally a must-have part of this event! Every day, there will be a new quote and theme. Feel free to include references to other activities as well if you wish - the sky, no, OUTER SPACE is the limit!

ART

Fanart, photoshops, gifs and anything else visual - the beauty of Aldnoah.Zero as captured and interpreted by the fandom. Every day, there will be a new quote and theme. It’s become a tradition to have photo collages of the birthday person on their special day, right? So we’ll give Inaho the birthday treatment - all week along.

COOKING

Two recipes have been planned for each day: an egg and an orange dish. Well, until the last day where we get creative~ Feel free to try these dishes at home, or make your own and submit a recipe or picture (or both!).

MUSIC

What’s a party without music? Still a party, probably. But it wouldn’t be Inaweek! Playlists with music that suits the theme of each day will be released for your enjoyment 🎵.

SCIENCE

Physics, animals, natural phenomena, kataphrakt specs and more - over the course of two seasons, Inaho has shown us that he’s got quite the library inside that head of his… and an even bigger one on his tablet. In order to better emulate our erudite ensign (alliteration aside, I’m quite certain he got promoted by the second season), there’ll be a new short article about something vaguely science-y. Who knows, maybe this information will help in fighting off advanced space invaders one day.

PHOTOS

If you did something to celebrate Inaweek, take a photo and submit it! Cosplays, cakes, buying flowers… or maybe you just had an orange for lunch. At the end of the week an Inaho Birthday Collage will be released to commemorate the 2017 Inaweek festivities!

QUOTES

While Inaho’s delivery isn’t the most expressive, he certainly has some memorable lines in the show. An Inaho quote will be released along with the theme of each day. Let’s journey down those memory lanes… although not all of them will be scenic strolls through pleasant recollections.

If you remember, on Christmas season last year we have a great fan service of InaSure Lover Date for limited edition cake. Luckily I managed to get the cake box (without cake lol) & plate, and this months was 2 year AZ anniversary, I think it’s good time for rewind beauty of their destiny with this official art cake box scan.

(I convinced that the photo frame on the fireplace, one is shota Slaine, another is Inaho himself. They're husband & wife a family now isn’t it… I’m so thirsty for their new official art together again. orz)

here we go again! 8-page orangebat doujin by me. edited and beta’d by curagas.  thank you so much!

note that this doujin is a somewhat continuation of “loose ends”, and it doesn’t make much sense without reading the previous story first. i want to explain why in this thing inaho fusses over slaine’s well being so much because slaine was not well in the frist story and is still recovering so he’s still really worried. that said this thing is 100% fluff i suppose. i just felt like to draw some. hope you enjoy.
