My 'light' on the cassdean tension only came clarified after Purgatory. At that point I was completely convinced of their mutual attraction.

And after one #castiel on Insta everything was clear. I wanted to know whether I was alone in my opinion.😂

Binge watching gives you the experience to see the characters like reading a book. No real life person is there to distract you. It is more like book reading as a child, on you room, and avoiding everyone else that might disturb you in your exclusive fantasy. No real actor around to influence you. Actually the real Misha surprised me in the beginning so much I tried to avoid his social media. The difference was to much with Castiel's character which is pretty exceptional. ( I got over it meanwhile.) With Jensen and Jared it felt more natural.

The only possible explanation is, because Castiel is the real love of Dean and therefore he almost overpowered and weakened her?

The most memorabele love stories I know end bad. So therefore the story cassdean already has it place and will echo for many years. Adding other themes in the show like suïcide, alcolism, autism (indirectly), mothers dying by childbirth (Kelly), psychiatry (memorable performance of Jared) and also Eileen's presence is so important as an example, Supernational had a huge impact on me.
