Sometimes is wish stuff became easier as time went on. Today marks the two year point of attending school without a close friend of mine I lost a while back. School just kept going, Life kept coming, and up until now, I hadn't realized just how much I miss him. I find myself listening to the songs we'd play during our rounds at the ranch we used to work at, singing along and slightly expecting to hear another voice singing back. Remembering how he wanted to join the army, and make a difference. Or, if he changed his mind or couldn't join because of health issues, he wanted to open a flower shop. He taught me how to shoot a bow while riding a horse, and how we'd go out and find the rattlesnakes on the property before kid's birthday parties. How he'd listen to me ramble for hours about my worlds and stories, and how he'd pitch character ideas. How he'd knock some sense into me whenever I was feeling like giving up. I just miss him. This isn't going to do anything, but it just felt nice to remember him. One of our favorite songs to listen to was Renegade by Styx. One of his favorite songs was Space Song by beach house. I just miss our memories. I miss being able to make more.

Finally made some Morel Orel fanart! Specifically of everyone's lil loss-of-innocence: Orel Puppington!

This show has helped me to reflect on a lot of my struggles involving religion and harmful relationships. I see a lot of myself in Orel, from slowly realizing how fragile a family can be, to seeing just how messed up the so called 'true christian' churches are.

And yes, I skipped the warmup. How could you tell?

(Because the shading looks horrendous, blue.)
