August 1989. Tank Girl and Booga doing what they do best (styling, with no particular plot or direction in mind). The color reprint collections are not long on bibliographic detail, but this page originally appeared (in B&W) in DEADLINE #10.

I find it so interesting that Kurt’s way of displaying affection and comfort is through physical touch.
He practically jumped on Gambit and Rogue when they first arrived to Genosha, he was constantly leaning on Gambit, etc.
I also find it interesting that Kurt does not sway at all in his physical comfort and affection when it comes to Rogue, despite her ability. And this facet of his character was on full display when he comforts her in episode 7.
Rogue initially turned away from Kurt, and it was Kurt who pulls her into the hug. Rogue, who was still holding herself back, fully collapsed and bawled into him. And Kurt responded by hugging her more.
Her touch could kill him. And yet he continues to comfort her like he would any other.
