I am about to go on a small rant, so if you're not a Tech fan that was holding on to hope in clown make-up, it's ok to keep scrolling.

The finale was good. But it could have been better. Not only was Tech's death mishandled, but CX-2's was as well. Now I would not have been so upset if they hadn't been stringing us along all season 3 with the hints that it's Tech, certainly most of you saw my and other's comparisons, the voice, the movements, the technology capabilities. Domicile. KRIFFING DOMICILE!!!! But the finale, no payoff for all of that anxiety, parallel analysis, and HOPE?! And on top of that, the cryptic tweets all season long. I'm sorry, but that was incredibly cruel of the writers/creators to do. I'm crying, but not because it was a happy ending for the surviving CF99, because that was just absolutely unnecessary to set up CX-2 as Tech, to just have him unceremoniously killed as just another mindless regular clone.

Also, the ending felt rushed and unfinished, it could have touched on the plot points of Crosshair knowing who CX-2 was and it being Tech very easily with 15 more minutes, even 10. And that scene with Phee before Eriadu left completely unfinished as well!!! No Phee in the finale!? They gave more wrap up time to Nala Se than to CX-2 who they built up half the season!!!

Did they have an alternative ending with Tech alive and CX-2 reveal, but some Disney higher up said they couldn't do it? I hope we find out some day.

I'm sorry, but ARE YOU KRIFFING KIDDING ME!?!?!?! I have been repeating this for an hour now. Seriously. I just can't. This is all I can manage at this time, But I imagine we'll all be thinking about this for a while. Thank the Maker for fanfic, jeez. Sending 💜 to everyone who needs one and accepting them also, lol.

Beautifully said and ditto. 💜 The Bad Batch means everything to me, but what I didn't expect was the fandom to mean so much to me. I've been in general Star Wars fandom for a very long time, but I was mostly solo (no pun intended) and even when I cosplayed, I always felt a fifth wheel. In this fandom, however, I have met some truly amazing people who I chat with regularly as friends. And especially here on tumblr, some of the most brightest and creative minds: I've thoroughly enjoyed not just the fanfic and art, but also the academic analysis, discussions, humor, and collective excitement and comfort. Even though the show is ending, I'll be happy to still be part of the collective legacy because I intend to keep writing, reading, and scrolling, lol. Happy final Bad Batch eve y'all! 💜

Before TBB Ends...Regardless of HOW it Ends...I've Got to Say Something...

In 2021, TBB was released, and over the last few years, it's grown to mean a lot to me. Not just the stories, the storytelling, the characters whom we've fallen in love with and hope to see more of someday, whose stories we've learned important lessons from, but how it profoundly affected my life.

And it is something I am incredibly grateful for.

Regardless of how the show ends, if it's something I'm going to love or be totally heartbroken over and hate, I'm so glad it happened and went on this journey.

For one, it gave me the plug to start writing. Writing was always a dream of mine but it wasn't until I discovered fanfiction, because of TBB, that I actually realized it. I had this idea of writing and thought I'd never really be able to accomplish that. The show enabled me to move past that and I've been able to be enflamed by my love for writing. It brings me so much happiness. No other show pushed me to write like this one.

Secondly, my writing has allowed me to touch and interact with people. I can't tell you how much it means to me and how thrilled I am to hear and learn my work has touched you in some way. I'm humbled by your words and taking the time to actually read and appreciate what I've written.

Thirdly, I've gone on so many adventures, crazy amazing adventures because of what other brilliant minds I met through the show have written. There are SO many great stories that just hit me so.....I was touched by your stories that you wouldn't have written if you hadn't watched the show!

Lastly, but CERTAINLY not the least, I have made SO many friends and writing buddies because of this show. It has connected me to so many cool people that I otherwise may never have found. I've grown really close with some of you, while others, though we may not be friends per say, I hope we can someday. In the meantime, I will admire your work from here. You guys mean so much to me and I can't even begin to express how wonderful it's been getting to know you over the past few years. The fun experiences we've shared, the theories, the stories, all of it. I am not putting this as well as it was in my head so please forgive that.

Beautifully said. 💜 I've been around a long time, too (not on tumblr per se, but Star Wars fandom). The Bad Batch has touched so many of us; I'm so grateful for the presence of this fandom and the creativity it generates.

Listen, I’ve been doing this fandom thing for a while (I’m old) and I just wanted to reassure you guys that you don’t have to “leave the fandom” when The Bad Batch ends, and that it certainly isn’t going to evaporate! While some people will move on, many others will continue to participate. Fandoms of this size tend to stick around long after the source material is done, and doubly so with big franchises like Star Wars where the characters are very likely to reappear in other places. Just look at the Clone Wars fandom and how active it still is, for example.

I don’t plan on going anywhere after the finale. This story and these characters are very important to me, and I’m not done playing with them. 💖

I completely agree and understand; it does feel very sad that this era will end. This was one of the most beautiful Star Wars creations ever. Like you, I am going to miss the animation, the excitement, and seeing our favorite characters on screen so much. Those show may be coming to an end, but many of us will still be here, celebrating this beautiful show. 💜

This season of TBB gave us such beautiful shots of planets, spaces, characters. We got great stories, character development (throughout all seasons, really). There is so much food for thought, the tension is higher than ever and I don't want it to end!!

Like are you going to tell me this high will be over in two weeks??? What?? I made this my entire personality lmfao I love these characters, I want to see my copy paste men and daughter be happy and safe but I DON'T WANT THIS ERA TO END 😭 WHY DO I GET SO ATTACHED

Beautifully said. 💜 No dead weight around here, we're all in this together. Sad it's coming to an end, but looking forward to experiencing the finale with this wonderful fandom.

I can't believe we only have one week left til is all over for real 😫 Time has truly flown by so quickly since we first met Clone Force 99 all the way back in 2020. I'll admit, the first time I met them, I was like ok cool. These dudes are pretty fun to watch. Now, they've come to mean so much to me. I guess that's one perk of having the show come out whilst in school; it felt like I was going on a journey with them. And now, it all comes to a close.

I don't know what the finale will have in store (pain), but I do know that I'm gonna miss this little family so much. I've loved watching my blog grow over the past few years and meeting so many incredible people who love this show just as much as I do. I love seeing all the fics, fanarts, analyses, and memes people create for TBB. We're a small but mighty fandom.

So, thank you everyone for a truly wonderful past 4 years with Clone Force 99. I'm still gonna be posting about these boys and Omega, even if the show is over. (And nothing will ever take "The Outpost" from me. You're gonna have to claw that episode away from cold, dead hands. It's truly that special to me).

I'll be mentally preparing for the finale, but I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for this wonderful fandom and show :)

And worry not. The Bad Batch as a series is coming to an end, but it will continue to live on through stories, artwork, and the love we have for these characters.

I honestly have NO IDEA wtf is gonna happen from here on out.

So just gonna enjoy the ride best I can and see what happens.

Shit... we're all just throwing wild guesses into the ring at this point....

TBB writers and staff gotta LOVE watching the fandom cry and froth at the mouth while they drop their social media breadcrumbs...as we use a whole skein of red yarn crisscrossed a million times over our cork board of scattered theories.

Lastly: Sending love out to all of The Bad Batch Fans on this platform.

We spend so much time and energy on these characters who don't really exist, but captivate us nonetheless.

And we bond over it. Sharing things some of us would never with people closest to us outside of this space.

So many deeply wonderful things.

I don't know how much further the clones will have a story past the end of TBB. Or if this fandom will last awhile after the end of this series or fizzle out quickly.

Guess I just want to express how much I appreciate and enjoy interacting with everyone here.

"I'm not going anywhere," as Tech said. In all of my years as a lover of Star Wars, nothing has grabbed me quite as much as Bad Batch. I concur with all of the above posts. I have found my calling and I have found my people including some very awesome friends. I am ready to carry on even after the last credit rolls on the finale. Whether we see BB again in any kind of canon media, I am not certain, but I am certain that I will enjoy diving in to everyone's posts, be it commentary, memes, art. or writing, in the meantime. 💜

I'm a little sad right now. I'm afraid that at the end of this season, many of the people here are going to move on to other things. I get it. People want to be devote their energy to something current and relevant. But being part of this fandom has meant a lot to me because of all of you, and I don't want that to be over yet. 🧡

I love all of your moments especially the "Negative" one. I'm not a Hunter girlie, but I was like, sir, you have my attention, lol.

When Omega asks to go out on the boat with Lyana, and Hunter says with a big smile, "Have fun," because he realizes that in the safety of Pabu, he now has the luxury to allow her to go without worrying about a bounty hunter or the Empire, I mean there was a sea surge, but that's beside the point!

When they are leaving for Eriadu, Omega runs up to Phee and just gives the most adorable raised eyebrows and smile, she's just so precious and I enjoy the relationship those two have.

If this is not resolved, I will legit have a tantrum like a toddler. 🤣😭😭😭 This scene has caused me more heartache and tears than Plan 99 itself. The beautiful string music as she walks away. His range of expressions and emotions as he contemplates and attempts to analyze her emotions and meaning...you just know he figured something out in that moment, but it was too late. He could have gone after her, but maybe he thought he would talk about it after they got back. But he never came back! 😭😭😭 Except when he came for Omega as a brainwashed assassin. So I am pinning all of my sanity on this being resolved in the finale. Please, I am begging!!! 😫

What are the chances that this sad conversation will be resolved in the season finale next week? I am very worried.
