Maybe this is a weird take, but I ask all of you: Write into your books. Add bookmarks, add doodles, add notes, add whatever you want. They are yours. I'm going through the books I inherited from my Grandfather and not only is it interesting to look at books that are 40+ years old, especially history books, it's also always... a surprise, a memento and memory, an added value whenever i stumble upon a note he left on a text, a bookmark or even newspaper articles he clipped out and added to the books because the articles relate to the book's contents.
Preservation of books is great and all, but don't be afraid to add to the physical books you own. There is something incredibly intimate and charming and also very honest to discover a persons notes. Something they deemed noteworthy, bookmark worthy, necessary to leave a note of and for themselves in a published book. It feels a lot more valuable.

How I get out of a slump
Hello girlies! Welcome to another blog of mine. This topic was very spontaneous for me to write about. I'm having a writers block since last week because I have been stuck in a rut, that's my reason bts. I'm going to tell you my personal tips to get out of this state and regain your consistency on a healthy lifestyle!
My tips
Journaling: You may do this step whenever you feel it's right, but I think it's important to be concious about why are you in a rut in the first place and what you can do for you to feel better and get back stronger. You may let yourself just dump and feelings or go to Pinterest and look out for prompts.
Tidy up my space & take a shower: I truly believe that our space is a reflection of our own mind, as so I think that I reflect my state in how much I take care of my appearance and hygiene. So, this is the first thing I do to step into a state in which I feel clean and calm and able to focus on my mind after taking care of my physical space. Take your time to cleanse yourself!
Listen to high vibe music: I know my ruts happen in first place because I am in a low vibrational state and with a negative mindset. Even if it's not your case, I reccomend you to listen to songs that motivates you and empowers you up to again make an effort for yourself , rather than listening to low mood lyrics.
Revisit your goals: it's time to think again about what are the things you want to accomplish. Ask yourself what do you need to get back on track: Are there any goals that don't align with you no more or you need to change to be accomplished? What are the habits or steps you need to take?
Take it slow: We are just getting out of a rut, so it has been hard for us this days to keep track on habits and goals, even to do simple things. Girl, take it easy and at your own peace, no one is chasing you and your wellness it's first before other matters. If you need to, break down your habits or steps into small ones. One of my favorite reminders is "something is better than nothing". Examples: You don't feel with the energy to clean your room? Use a timer of 10 minutes. Can't read? Just read one page. What matters is that you are making an effort to be in a better place.
Take care of your health: First things first. Related to other points of the blog, take care fo your health and then focus on heavier effort or alongside doing small but significant actions. Health is something we start neglecting when we are in a slump (alongside keeping our space clean, our goals & habits and our mind). Make sure you are sleeping well, having a healthy diet, doing exercise, take some sun, whatever you need to do to have a healthy body.
Be consistent!: Consistency will be an important point in this one. For me, the hardest thing is taking the decision to take the first steps, after it keep them on track until you feel better. Rather than seeing it as discipline, see it as devotion. Think that "you are being devoted in taking care of yourself and giving you the best present and future", it sounds lovely, isn't it?
Health + Clean space → Reflection → Revisit your goals → Take small steps →Consistency

tbh the prettiest hottest most attractive thing anyone can do ever is be happy. when i see a woman with buck teeth and acne a double chin and everything society tells us is unattractive smiling and laughing with her friends my heart lights up. when i see a fat hairy man in a skirt smiling for a picture i smile too. i love seeing happy people. i love it when i see people just in the moment smiling and laughing and being happy.

So I thought of a way to explain most sexualities I think. Let's say that each type of bread (bagels, challah, baguette, etc) is a gender, butter is sexual attraction, and jam is romantic attraction.
Each person eats some types of bread and doesn't like other types of bread. Some people like all types of bread but prefer some types (omni). Some people like all types of bread equally and don't care which one you give them, judging each slice individually (pan). Some people like a couple types of bread. Some people only like one type of bread. Some people are allergic to gluten.
Even though most people put jam and butter on all types of bread they eat, sometimes there's a type of bread you only want to eat with butter because it just tastes better with only butter, and sometimes you want to eat a type of bread with only jam. And there's people who only like jam and there's people who only like butter, and there's people that don't like either.
Sometimes someone will like butter or jam, but prefer to get used to the taste of the bread alone before putting anything on it (demi). Some people are only sometimes in the mood for jam or butter, or have no particularly strong craving for it (grey). Some people almost never like jam or butter but will suddenly get a craving for it (aro/ace spike).
There are people who don't like butter or jam, but if you give them some bread with it, they won't complain. Maybe out of politeness, maybe they don't care that much because it just doesn't have any flavor to them. There's people who, if they eat something with butter or jam, they will throw up because they're allergic to it.
And then there's people who eat bread with Nutella (qprs).

My mind is the modern Library of Alexanderia, containing tales of countless universes. I watched the worlds rise and fall, and i changed them to my will. I sympathized with the villains and condemned the heroes; I was the hero and the villain. I've seen love in a million ways and I've bathed in the rays of its beauty. Grief, pain, wrath, sorrow, hatred, numbness — I've seen it all. I explored those worlds, holding them in the palm of my hand. I exist in all of them, and they exist in me. I am in the past and in the future; I am nowhere and everythere.
