I think i’m a little late, but if you search for 천재아이돌 (genius idol) on google, baekhyun’s profile will come up.

I think people know this already that Baekhyun has all the reasons to be deemed a genius idol.

First, he’s a black belt 3단 hapkido assistant master who taught elementary kids hapkido and won many medals. Keep in mind that he could’ve gotten higher than assistant master and could actually become a master, but he was too young back then.

Second, he is a visual. I don’t think i have to explain this one.

Third, he can act. Not just in dramas but musicaLSSS. I was in a theater last year and let me tell you; singing live while trying to act and dance at the same time for hours is not easy and it took a lot of practice. Baekhyun nailed it in both his drama and musicals.

Fourth, he is a performer. Baekhyun has that charm on stage, his presence is just very strong and confident. I really love watching his fancams. He is an amazing performer. Although he never danced before getting into SM, i can say he is one of the best dancers in EXO now.

Fifth, he is a comedic genius. Everyone loves his jokes. He knows how to party and get an audience going. His members and even other kpop idols always praise his extroverted personality and i totally envy his social skills. Everyone can literally be his friends in a second. He always has wits on variety shows too and even his members rely on him a lot.

Sixth, he is a game MASTER. Like okay i just recently watched exo ladder season 2 dan holy shit baek won almost all individual games. He is so smart and witty and lowkey competitive but still so laid back and still joke around if he got wrong answers. Like he always tries to do best for everything, but isn’t offended if it doesnt turn out the way he wants. I love seeing this side of him, though i hope he is not pressured.

And last but not least (probably not last tho since he has so many other charms but i think this post will go on forever if i have to recite every one of them), his VOICEEEE?!?!!!! No one, and i mean NO ONE can disagree with me on this one. He has one of the most unique voices out there. And im not just saying just in the kpop industry, but worldwide. He has a very distinctive voice that people will recognize right away. He can sing any genres (he even sang the Korean national anthem) and always nail every song. He is a vocal genius and he still takes time to practice with professionals even recently despite his extraordinary skills. He can scream in my ears and i’d ask for more honestly.

Anyway that’s my take on why baek is worthy of the ‘genius idol’ title because he has everything. Whoever marries him later will be the luckiest person alive. So if u love baek pls listen to his albums. All of the songs are top-notch and worth listening to. (I listen to love again every day twice a day and never got bored of it so)

Growing up a shipper: my journey of growth lol

Alright hi so i’ve been in a kpop fandom for so long (since lucifer era) and i was 10 when i started shipping. It started out very innocently, but i began reading fanfics and eventually started writing a LOT of them. I still write until now, and i find my passion in writing through fanfictions.

I used to be a violent shipper. A little bit delulu. I made a post about how baekyeon and some other couples were just made up so that it’d cover the fact that my ships were gay. Fucking stupid. Went around looking at the slightest moment (like A looking at B from a distance even though they probably weren’t looking at each other) and told everyone that it was “proof”.

But i grew up. Things were what i saw because i was young and had no conscience. Now, i still ship, but with the thought of never letting it be delusional and it’s merely for personal pleasure. I don’t go around saying ships are “real” anymore because they probably aren’t but i still continue writing fanfics, away from the idol civilization. I don’t think real couples are a “trick” anymore to cover actual “ships” because they simply aren’t. When idols make it public that they’re dating, it means it’s serious and we should support them wholeheartedly and THAT is what you call “proof” that your ship ain’t it sis. I wish i could take back what i’ve delusionally said before about “ships” but i can’t, so the only thing i can do is to prove that i am no longer like that.

I hope all of you can find growth, too. Idols are humans like us and as long as you dont annoy and shove them with your delusional thoughts, i think shipping is fine. I know some people who like being shipped but not everyone is like that. So please be kind and dont assume idols’ sexualities based on fanservice “proofs” because they are called fanservice for a reason. If they want us to know, they’ll let us know. If they don’t, then respect their privacy please (highly advised for sasaengs).

can i just say that blackpink and bts are not fighting and they are currently dominating the world together and both groups are from korea. of course they are proud of one another and it’s normal to get asked about the other group. why cant the so-called fans understand this? if one of the groups isnt your fav, then leave the fandom alone rather than create a fight that will just lead to your favs feeling pressured. people need to chill.
