“Bucky?” came a voice, from just outside the door. Steve’s voice. “Steeb” he croaked feebly, not bothering to open his eyes. The door opened. “Oh sweetheart” Steve sighed, the floorboards creaking as he made his way across the room. “You not feeling well?”.

Or: Sick fic. Bucky gets a bad cold, and misses a date. Steve makes it better.

“Get any good shots?” Steve asked, a little nervously. Visitors were here to look at the animals, not to make awkward small talk with the staff.  “One or two” the man said, hesitating for a moment before extending his camera towards Steve. “Want to see?”.

Hellooo, it’s been a while! <3 life is very hectic and busy so I’m not really on here much anymore (not me having the wrong age in my bio for 4 months lol) but I still think about you guys and always hope you’re doing well :)

I have a few fics I wrote aaages ago that I still haven’t uploaded, so while I have a short break from uni I might be sorting those out & posting some! But I think I’ll change my ao3 name to something non-fandom specific and then have buckybees as a pseud for mcu stuff (once I work out how that all works haha) cause I have a few things from other fandoms as well that I’d like to post at some point too!

But yes, just making a post about this as it’s been quite a long time! I hope you’re all doing well friends, I’ll probably log out of here again soon but if any mutuals want to exchange instas or anything pls shoot me a message, I’d love to know how everyone’s doing! <3

Hi guys! 💛

Firstly - hi, hello, I’ve missed you! I hope you’re all doing well and you’re enjoying some sunny weather and staying safe, and I’m sending heaps of love your way <3<3

So, basically, I’ve been on hiatus since May, which initially started due to my uni exams, but ended up continuing as I’ve not been having the best time with my mental health for the past few months. I haven’t had much creative energy to write or draw, and I felt guilty being active on here but not producing content.

I was also seeing a lot of posts which were upsetting me. I won’t go into details, but it has made me take a bit of a step back from the fandom. Of course I still love stucky and want to continue doing art/fics, but I think it’s been good (mental health wise) not to be on here so much. But if we’re mutuals & have been talking for a while, please feel free to ask for my instagram! I still want to keep in touch even if I won’t be on here as much as before 💖 (although I am now back from hiatus!).

I’ve still been (slowly) working on things - I have a Steve drawing, a chapter of my WIP, and 2 one-shots that are almost ready to be posted, at some point (plus some fan art for a different fandom!). I also really want to get around to starting to post my art to AO3 (finally!). Also, I was considering maybe writing some one shots for a few other fandoms as well. I hope no one minds, I’ll still keep this blog stucky/MCU themed so there won’t really be any changes here. I just like a lot of TV shows too, and I think a bit of variety might get me back into being more creative again 😅

So yeah, that’s what’s been going on with me! I’m currently back with my family in France for the first time in 2 and a half years, so I’m mainly going to be spending time with them, but to those lovely people who’ve sent me messages & asks over the past few months, I’m sorry for the (incredibly) slow response and I’ll get around to answering them asap! :D and then hopefully posting a fic update soon once I grab my 🐢 for beta reading <3
