I've never been one for overly physical work but I'm amazed at what I've managed to do in regards of clearing bush and creating this vege garden. Its still a little bit of a work in progress but i cant wait to upload photos once the garden is thriving. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cn_AzgSrVz_rObBe5j1TBkXHG4bGvcnybtOP880/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Can't wait to upload the after picture of this area I'm clearing for my vege patch but I'm so excited about how good the soil is here which is also fairly moist all the time due to this being so close to where water off the mountain comes out from what I'm assuming is an underground creek. Will be a massive benefit during dry spells out here.

Someone on this property must have planted some peach trees many many years ago because we stumbled across 2 large very healthy trees close to the river bed.
Chucked together some makeshift fruit fly traps so we don't lose the fruit. I'll upload a DYI on the process.
Cant wait to see what the harvest looks like.

I've been learning alot about Native Australian Plants recently and I was so thrilled to identify this Kangaroo Vine while clearing an area last weekend where my partner and I want to build.

Alot of Australian Native plants require Smoke Treatment to germinate seedlings.
To try and mimic this natural occurrence of bush fires in Australia, I've burnt dried grass and gum leaves over some Native Potting Mix.
Hopefully this works for my seeds.

Placed my Native River Mint into my pond. Keeping the roots wet should encourage more growth from these baby River Mints compared to trying to keep the soil most enough.

Won't be forgetting what my seedlings are this year with these self burned plant signs. Will hopefully get better with the burning the more I do it.

Moved to very rural bush land from Metro living. Atmosphere shift is just brilliant 👏
