Mom sent me a facebook link to a PBS news hour post about how the anti-lawn movement is growing. The vast majority of the comments on it were stuff like this:

Maybe this is because I’m asexual, but I’ve never understood why romantic or sexual attraction is seen as the natural progression of platonic love? I’ve been struggling with grief recently and have been going through some art block because of that.

Tonight I was watching the storm and it was like the flood gates opened and everything came pouring out - pardon the pun

I grabbed my phone to draw this as soon as I could because I was afraid that I would loose the idea

I still want to clean it up a bit, but I’m pretty happy with it so far

idea: scene with two characters eagerly stripping each other clearly about to bone, but they keep getting interrupted by finding carefully concealed weapons in each other’s clothing, so they keep just unholstering, revealing and unstrapping increasingly ludicrous amounts of hidden guns and knives as the clothes come off, and it’s lowkey killing the mood a little
