This bloodbath has gone on for far too long. At the start of this aggression, the school year had barely just started. The academic year ends in just a month. Everyone, from first graders to university seniors, have lost an entire year at least. I say at least considering even if there is a ceasefire today, Israel had destroyed literally all universities in Gaza and damaged over 400 schools. Lest we forget also Israel's deliberate targeting of university professors and academics.

You absolutely cannot mistake the intent behind all of this.

The family of the 74 year old man in the video, Omar Assaf, did not even recognise him. He describes the past 6 months feeling as though they were 6 years.

Violence against women is a MENS ISSUE.

We will never be able to stop this and live in peace and safety unless the underlying cause is identified, addressed and fixed : it is a valuing issue. Cultural, institutional. While institutions are slowly changing, cultural value systems that circulate about women in men's circles are not catching up.

We can't solve this.

You have to.

It is a human rights issue.

If you do understand that women are human beings equal to you and treat them as such, please understand it is your duty to circulate and normalise that, and culturally correct misogyny in any form it presents itself among your fellow males.

I'm really sick of this. All women are.

We can see who these people who do not see us equally are. Often it's people who think it isn't them.

It's everywhere.

Culturally males are fed particular messaging about genders that present in their unconscious and conscious behaviour, bias, subjectivity. Please work on yourselves. Even if you think you don't need to. Check your privilege. And when and were you see it in others - CALL IT OUT. THEN AND THERE.

We can't fix a culture we aren't part of. Only you can.

Those who protest against Israel's genocide are punished for antisemitism.

But for some strange reason, authorities have never cracked down on antisemitism any other time. Any other time, antisemitism is considered free speech.

It's almost as if they know damn well that protesting against Israel is not antisemitism.

Lynx reintroduction in need of public support: the National Trust is restoring parts of Northumberland that could support a lynx population.

Wild lynx have been extinct in the UK for 1,300 years due to hunting and habitat destruction.

In an effort to rewild and rejuvenate the land, a family of beavers were reintroduced in 2023. Europe has had success with reintroducing both species.

Anyone who lives near should go to these exhibitions and voice their public support! It's such an amazing opportunity ❤

"We've lost so much wildlife, and the jigsaw of life is really quite broken, so bringing back species like beaver and lynx could really help restore nature," Mr Pratt, of Northumberland Wildlife Trust.

"The lynx has been successfully reintroduced in countries like Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy and Slovenia."

"Lynx were once widespread in the UK but disappeared in medieval times because they were hunted for their fur."
