1. SUGA - This should come as no surprise to anyone. He says so himself - his tongue will send you to Hong Kong, man or woman. Not sure if you take requests or not, but I really like your writing. And how you believe the members are or how you portray them. RM’s girlfriend - ENFJ

Namjoon once said that he is attracted to people with strong personalities. While he is often paired with thinker types, I see him more compatible with someone compassionate and empathetic. ENFJ’s are known for their kind, approachable, and friendly nature, but they are also natural leaders who are incredibly strong-willed and will fiercely defend what they believe in. An ENFJ’s intuition also allows them to be creative idealists, future-oriented, and highly theoretical. Although they are quite similar, I see an ENFJ as the more extroverted, grounded, optimistic, and high-energy counterpart to Joon.

Might also be compatible with: ESFJ, ENTJ.

SUGA’s girlfriend - ENTP

Yoongi definitely needs someone who can keep up with him intellectually. The perfect type for him is none other than the quick-witted and audacious ENTP, a type that is goal-oriented and logical. He once said he wishes he laughed more, and I think the right variant of this type would be quite the teaser and jokester with him as they are also creatively humorous. When matured, ENTP’s are great communicators, highly intelligent, disciplined, and have the potential to be empathetic advocates.

ESFP’s are vibrant, spontaneous, energetic, and love to be in the spotlight. And while they are highly extroverted, life of the party types, they also have excellent people skills and like to encourage others. Tae paired with an ESFP would make for a fun-loving, exciting, and passionate relationship.

I see Hobi’s girlfriend being just as much of a ray of sunshine as he is, albeit a little less loud. She might be a little quirky, with a creative side that shines through via her hobbies and personal style. There are other types that fit this mold as well, but I think a (healthy) INFP would suit Hoseok incredibly well.

Jungkook’s girlfriend - ISTJ

As always, Jungkook is hard to type. I boiled it down to ISTJ - a woman who is mature, dependable, practical, decisive, and honest. While being methodical and deliberate may sound like the opposite of JK, I think this type would suit him well by helping to ground him. However, their strong work ethic and dedication would align. I think JK needs someone he can rely on, someone stable who can help him grow, and an ISTJ would challenge him in a positive way.

Jimin’s girlfriend - ENFP

ENFP’s are one of the most well-loved types. I imagine Jimin’s girlfriend being rather friendly and popular, but still humble and open-minded. ENFP’s are known for their unique sense of creativity and depth to their personality, despite their aloof demeanor. They also deeply value meaningful connections with other people and tend to have a magnetic enthusiasm that radiates positive energy. She would have the same people skills and loveability as Jimin, but be a little more ditzy, self-oriented, and emotional.

BTS MBTI types

Controversial? Sort of? I am not an MBTI expert by any means, nor do I think it should be taken too seriously, but it's fun to analyze the boys nonetheless. I would love to hear what other people think :) See the MBTI types of their girlfriends here, and the masterlist for other fun content.

RM - INFJ

There seems to be a huge debate around whether Namjoon is an INFJ or ENFP, and while I see both in him, I lean towards the former. He is incredibly introspective (if not a little brooding) and intrinsically wise. He is often misunderstood and claims to feel like an “outsider”, which is characteristic of INFJs. He really does strike me as the lone wolf type - a uniquely insightful, intelligent, and open-minded leader that bears a heavy burden in order to make a difference in the world. He truly is a one of a kind, deeply special human being.

SUGA - INTJ

I am not sold on Yoongi as an INTJ because he also suits INTP and ISTP, and he even has a more visible sympathetic side lately. However, he is theoretical, speculative, organized, and practical like an INTJ. He’s extremely logical and hard working, and has a hard time expressing his feelings or receiving affection. He is also highly reserved, independent, and somewhat perfectionistic and likes to have control over his work. INTJ’s are known as one of the most intelligent types, and that comes through in the form of his musical innovation.

V - ENFP

Tae’s unusually creative thought process, emotional vulnerability, social nature, and spontaneity render him a pretty clear ENFP. ENFP’s are enthusiastic, imaginative creators who are people-oriented and expressive communicators. They often drawn to the abstract and intuitive nature of art and love to search for deeper meanings within humanity. V also highly values his individuality and freedom, and comes across as unconventional and mysterious.

j-hope - ESFJ

This ray of sunshine is undoubtedly an ESFJ. He’s incredibly social and vibrant around his members, and serves as a sort of human energy charger that everyone gravitates towards. His radiant energy and dependability makes him a well-loved and an essential member of BTS. ESFJ’s are also extremely organized, preferring structure and planning to spontaneity. His strong sense of duty and unwavering mentality shine through as a dance teacher and leader - despite his caring nature, he will not hesitate to hold people accountable for their actions.

Jungkook - ISFP

This is another clear typing for me, Jungkook is blatantly ISFP. He is innately artistic, adventurous, self-expressive, and open-minded. Despite their highly introverted and independent nature, ISFP’s are known for being sweet and caring in relationships, and it is no secret how fond and protective JK is of his members. He can also be quite sensitive due to his perfectionistic tendencies and emotional receptivity; he is often too hard on himself and seems to struggle with self-esteem at his core.

Jimin - ENFJ

I fluctuate between ESFJ and ENFJ for Jimin, but settled on the latter because he seems to be more future-oriented rather than present-focused. ENFJ’s are incredibly empathetic and caring people who tend to put others before themselves. Jimin naturally and instinctively lends a hand to his members when they are in need and constantly thinks about how is actions affect others. He is also quite the perfectionist, which is characteristic of ENFJ's. The only detail I am uncertain on is that ENFJ’s are quite the creative and abstract thinkers, and I am not sure I see this within him.

Jin - INTP

Jin is tricky because his media persona seems to be quite different from that of his real personality. He could also be ENTP, although he is very introverted and doesn’t seem to engage in much conversation outside of the people he is comfortable with. His sarcastic and dry sense of humor is particularly characteristic of an INTP, and he is also straightforward, logical, and blunt. Although INTP’s are often stereotyped as cold and unexpressive, he has a goofy side that is childlike and wholesome.

Which members would fall for the same woman

While BTS are all highly different individuals with varying preferences, there are a few overlaps that may cause some of the members to fall for the same person. Based on their ideal types that can be found in the masterlist.

RM and SUGA

The most likely pair to fight over a woman (not literally, but I can really see them liking the same person). RM and SUGA share of lot of similarities in terms of brain chemistry and their desire for deep, meaningful connections. They are both highly attracted to intelligence, wit, charm, kindness, and authenticity. I can see them simultaneously falling hard for someone who has these qualities.

V and RM

Both of these men would be enamored by someone creative and artistic with a strong, opinionated personality. They both search for a kind of innate intelligence and a unique way of looking at the world. She would probably be beautiful and fashionable as well. These two might actually be a little competitive with one another for her affection, swooning over her and trying to impress her whenever she walks in the room.

SUGA and j-hope

This one is painful because sope is by far the most wholesome duo of the group. They are both attracted to individuals with positive, vibrant energies and kind souls, and would fall for her genuineness, love for life, and caring nature towards people and animals. As a whole though, SUGA would need more intellectual stimulation while j-hope would prefer more emotional connection. Besides, they would never choose a woman over each other anyways.

V and Jungkook

Yikes, the two jealous-prone boys of the group. These drop-dead, jaw-dropping handsome men would fight to the death over a woman they both fancied. This might be over sexual or surface level attraction only though, for a woman who’s cute, short, flirty, and forward. She would tease both of them and end up with neither in the end (or fucking them at the same time in a threesome).

Jin and Jimin

This one is a bit of a stretch, I only put these two together because they share a liking for "traditional” Korean familial/relationship roles. She might be a little submissive (not in a sexual sense, more so in terms of obedience and gender dynamics) and enjoy taking care of her man. They would both like someone who is practical and considerate, but a little goofy at the same time. She would be pretty, feminine, and sweet. An unlikely collision, but it is possible.

RM and Jungkook

I imagine this woman to be emotionally mature, sexy, confident, intelligent, and experienced. Jungkook would find her incredibly attractive, but in a purely physical, sexual way. • He would be anything but lazy and ensure to put consistent effort into the relationship to show his love and appreciation.

• I don’t see them going on a lot of dates. Maybe the occasional fancy dinner for anniversaries or special occasions, but otherwise they would be content spending time at home.

• She would often be so out of breath with laughter at his jokes. Not because they are particularly funny, but his mannerisms and expressions are so ridiculous that it’s impossible not to laugh.

• Out of the members, the type of person that Jin would date seems to have the most consensus among the fandom.

• I think we can all agree that Jin wants the traditional housewife type.

• Kind, soft-spoken, nurturing, and somewhat submissive.

• She would be mature and motherly, but not in a prudent or matronly way.

• Probably not particularly ambitious in terms of her career, but may hold an associate’s degree in marketing or education. I could also see her as a midwife or nurse if she chose to work.

• A homebody type. Is content spending time alone, but might enjoy the occasional wine night with one or two close girlfriends.

• Jungkook’s ideal type has been the hardest for me to imagine out of all the members. He is such a curious and adventurous person and seems to lack a level of certainty in his life.

• Because I can envision Jungkook with completely dichotomous types, I’m going to approach his section a little differently than the other members. Here are the two possibilities:

The bad bitch

• ABG vibes. Sexy, mischievous, and a little naughty.

• Appears intimidating on the outside (like JK) and probably also has an intimidating personality (not like JK) (looks like they could kill you, would kill you).

• The creative type. They might’ve met during a dance class or photoshoot.

• MBTI: ISFP. Adventurous, artistic, bold, and expressive.

Other notes:

• Sexual orientation wouldn’t matter too much either, but I can see him being a little jealous or insecure if she has dated women or a lot of other men in the past.

• He definitely seems to be attracted to women with some sort of sex appeal. Not too audacious in their sexuality, but not too cute or innocent either.

• He is shockingly independent, and while he would want to feel like he can take care of her, he wouldn’t want someone who is overly needy or lacks self-sufficiency.
