What i think ppl miss on in twst fandom is the lack of writing/talking about magic itself, beinh able to use magic is pretty rare, like when Ruggie said that uts rare to see ppl w/magic,let alone invited to NRC in his hometown/slums, or when Epel got magic and flew on a broom and his classmates/villages were surprised, or when Kalim said that his mom was the only magic user in his big family, (head(father), and 100% muptiple wives because birthing 30-40 kids alone in 17 years is impossible, and his many siblings) only he and his mom are able to wield magic

Do people get jealous of one another? Especially siblings,imagine your brother gets unique magic,but you just have to move one with your life. Are people in Ruggie’s hometown happy for him,surprised by his useful magic, grateful? He canonically helps kids and brings food from nrc to them on winter/spring etc breaks,do ppl in his hometown watch him from tv when hes on the channel playing spell drive?

While magic is everywhere in twst universe,ability to have magic is rare in some areas, how interesting is that??? Especially when you get your unique magic, is it scary? exciting? Both?..

Do some parents fear their own kids for their destructive um(like leona’s?) and their lack of control of it?

I always see headcanons about Billy practicing magic from like Constantine or Zatanna without his adult form & I wonder do people really read into Shazam bc Billy in both continuities ends up with Wizard’s powers by being bound to the Rock of Eternity naturally one way or another. He’s supposed to be the Wizard’s heir, be it Jebediah or Mamaragan.

Before New 52, the Wizard died and his power passed to Billy & now, Lazarus Planet has caused the power to be bound to Billy in place of the Wizard. That’s not to say it’s been well bc Billy was portrayed as pretty weak & currently, the Wizard is gonna steal his power bc magic rain made him evil & resentful despite the fact HE VERY MUCH PLANNED for Billy to take HIS SPOT SPECIFICALLY so him being big mad he lost his “position of power” makes no sense.

It’s also worth noting Billy’s magic is not like Constantine or Zatanna; their spells are currently written in the language of the Lightning (basically a magic language & writing system) which makes sense bc Mamaragan himself is a lightning/thunder god of Aboriginal origin that speaks in thunder/lightning in RL.

Im just saying; Billy’s magical abilities are not the same as some of the more familiar characters & is tied from an entirely different kind of mythology, fictional and otherwise, and is exclusive to him (there’s a reason why it’s reoccurring people seeking to steal the Magic of Shazam often tricks BILLY & not just absorb magic ability. Only Constantine has done that & it literally almost killed him). It’s way more interesting playing into that than making him Constantine/Zatanna 5.0 in magic

I think it would be kind of cool for Marcus & Steph to interact because both of them had vastly different responses to seeing Batman beating up their parents.

Arthur treated Steph & her mother terribly so Batman beating him up made Steph view him as a protector/ someone to admire while Marcus’ parents are loving & Marcus cares a great deal about them so Batman hurting them made Marcus view Batman as someone to fear/ dislike.

I just always think it’s cool when characters have similar experiences but end up with different responses

Edit: Can’t believe i forgot to mention it but also light magic too, isn’t that also such an interesting topic? How do some ppl gain light magic,is it some specific traits for dark and light magic be gained for someone
