Thank you for answering my question. I’d love to see the rest of the story. If you don’t want to draw it out would you be able to post what notes you have on it so I could see what the rest of the story is? I really enjoy it. Thank you for creating such a wonderful story.

I looked at it and unfortunately I think I can't, half of it is in polish and written so messily that only If you're fluent in both languages you'd understand any of it.

But good news is that every time I'm prompted to look at that folder I find something that is so close to finishing that I get inspired to work on it a little bit to get it done

so i have a question, Since Canon Remus is allergic to soap, would King have the same allergy too? If so, to what degree? (I’ve had this on my mind for awhile) hope you have a good day or night :)

I didn't know/remember that fact about Remus but yea, I think something should remain but like, Roman part would be totally unbothered, right?

It would be funny If the answer to split the king would be to just spray him with soap because then Remus has to come out XD

Hi, I was just wondering if you are still working on this? I know that you work on it when you have motivation so I’m happy to wait but I wanted to make sure you haven’t decided to stop doing it.

"working" not really.

My current thoughts about motivation are that I had my fun writing the script, figuring out all the plot points and having it all imagined in my head - for me the work is done.

So the motivation to "work" as to "put it down on canvas in some readable form" is strictly connected to other people enjoying it or begging me for it or whatever, haven't figured the threshold yet

Now he wants to try party life. Do things he didn't dare to before. For the sake of a thrill. And that includes getting himself into trouble.

Thankfully he has friends at his side who can pull him back to the right track when needed. If he lets them."

Well @kingcreativityau i hope you are proud of yourself. Here you have it. I swear just when i have put this au to rest in my head...

Virgil had snuck away. Again. He should want to stick close to the others at a time like this. But he didn’t. He'd like to say that it was because of the thoughts and the powers but… He couldn’t stand being around the others too long. The secrets the way he felt dismissed… He wished Roman were here to help distract him. He'd have some grand tale or ridiculously over the top idea that Virgil would pretend to hate until they had refined it into something doable. Or Remus. He'd have a whole heap of thoughts Virgil would frown at until they were put together in something funny or interesting. Virgil smiled a little at the metaphor collecting in his head. Roman's ideas were like big slabs of marble. Intimidating and full of potential but it needed help to chip away the extra bits to reveal it. Remus' ideas were heaps of trash, seemingly unrelated pieces that with some effort could be put together into something one might actually consider art. He missed them. He missed their shouts and laughter and… music? Virgil paused his wandering. That was definitely piano music. Elegant, bombastic yet soothing somehow. Curious but careful he followed the sound. He rounded a corner and found King. He was sitting at a beautiful grand piano seemingly lost in the catharsis of playing his emotions away. Virgil didn’t want to interrupt, definitely a bad idea, but he didn’t want to leave either. So he sat down on the ground and listened. As he did he learned two things. One he liked listening to King play. It was a little sad. But in a nice way. Like nostalgia maybe? He wasn't sure. But two. He'd been thinking about king all wrong. He'd been looking at him in terms of Roman and Remus. Trying to see them in him. A weird collage of the creativities he'd known all his life. But despite his eyes sometimes reflecting them back to Virgil, something he'd been clinging to with all his might, he was nothing like either of them. King was so much more composed. And neither of the twins would be able to sit still long enough to play any instrument. Neither of them looked anything like king either. He was just… not them. The song came to an end, but Virgil didn't notice until king did move . He'd spotted him and rose from his seat to face it. In a moment of panic, Virgil resorted to an old tactic: Don’t let them see they get to you. “Don’t stop on my account. It sounded good,” he assured him. “I can leave though if it bothers you,” he offered as he got up. Planning to stroll away to some corner where he could panic and berate himself in peace. “Not at all. But don't sit there on the floor young minister,” King said calmly, patting the seat next to him. Virgil wondered if he too was pretending he wasn't bothered. He did as he was told though. Committed to the bit now. A weird game of chicken going on in his head. If king was pretending like he was, then it was a matter of who would admit they wanted out of the situation first. And Virgil wasn't ready to leave just yet, though he wanted to. He sat down and King started playing again. Virgil studied him. The movement of his hands the way his face relaxed as he played… thoughts drifting to places Virgil likely had no clue about. “What is on your mind little one?” King wondered after a bit, the music not faltering. “You aren't them are you?” Virgil concluded, saddened by that fact. Not because he lost all hope that the brothers could return. But for them to do so, King would have to disappear. And if he wasn’t the twins in a trench coat… then Virgil wasn't sure how to feel. It couldn’t be right to just… erase a side. “I never claimed to be. But what brought this on now?” King mused. Seemingly amused by Virgil's train of thoughts. “I guess it hadn't clicked until now. But… they could never,” Virgil gestured to the piano. King simply nodded as though he understood and played on. And the music was so beautiful and soothing. Virgil allowed himself to relax for a little and just enjoy it. He could worry about what the right thing to do was later.

King allowed himself a small smile as he played on while Anxiety watched him. It was a curious development. He wouldn't have thought that the young side would come to accept him as he is through so little effort of his own. He felt a little smug honestly. He didn’t think that Anxiety's loyalties would shift so drastically over some music of course. But doors were opened. Next to him Anxiety shifted his weight, seemingly carried away by the tune and King found himself dropping thoughts of imminent complete victory. When he first noticed he had company, he’d been… uneasy, at the thought of being caught of guard. But Anxiety had looked so non threateningly. Like a child watching a grown up work. And now, with him sitting besides him, so enthralled by this little impromptu concerto, King couldn’t help but feel… At ease? Safe? Well… he was safer with Anxiety next to him than behind him for sure. Any other side in his stead would have likely tried to take advantage of this moment of distraction. But for whatever reason, Anxiety had chosen not to. So perhaps one day King could trust this young side somewhat. More than he’d ever expected to trust another side again. Right now was not a time to ponder these things though. Now was time for music. Music, and unexpected companionship.

I was thinking about how there really isn't an angsty moment for Patton yet (more specifically a personal angsty comic like the argument/discussions for Logan or Janus betraying King, etc), but I had a realization:

Patton's very existence in this AU is the angsty comic, in a way. Cause he gets blamed by the others for things that he either is not told about so he can't improve, or for things that he tries to communicate but isn't able to. He's like original Creativity in the fact that he just can't understand the way the others try to tell him things, but he wants to get better and communicate.

And, in some way, I think that's why he's stuck as a baby. It's implied through the Virgil/Patton comic that, at some level, he still is in there. He's still trying to keep them on track (even if it's just with swearing), but he can't communicate why. It's like with Logan, but it's different because while Logan still has other things he can turn to if he's unable to speak, Patton doesn't. He also can't understand what's happening cause baby brain, and so he's trapped trying to figure out how to help while being completely isolated in a way the others simply aren't. And, yeah. Looking at it like that makes his situation a whole lot less funny.

Summary: 

Deceit really didn’t care for fusion.

Don’t get him wrong, it’s a neat idea and it’s quite interesting to see what two combined sides could become but the lying side really had no interest in ever letting himself join that little party that the others seem to be enjoying so much.

Perhaps he should have been paying more attention to the others though.

Or The King returns when Roman and Remus fuse and Deceit temporarily reunites with his long lost love but it’s not a good time for anyone.
