hii! i’m good, thanks so much for asking!

in all honestly, the reason i haven’t posted in a hot minute is because i largely moved on from evan peters for some time, and i didn’t want to write something that i wasn’t inspired to or to post out of obligation instead of sincerity. but, given that it’s officially AHS season, and he’s having a bit of a social media renaissance given his new series coming out, i’m in a place where i’m happy to write about his characters again! so, more posts coming very soon ;-)

oh, and i know i’m the worst and have missed almost every milestone up to this point, but thanks so much for 300 followers! i love you all more than you know

also, i doubt it needs to be said, but no, i will not write about evan’s portrayal of dahmer. he was a real, vile man, with real victims.

tate langdon x gn witch!reader warnings: fluffy fluffy fluff word count: 654 a/n: sorry this took so long to get to! i have a couple more requests to write, but i'm making my way through them lol. also can't decide if i hate this or not butttt

-in his living days, tate was never interested in the supernatural

-he was definitely a horror junkie but found slasher movies to be more gripping than paranormal ones

-and even as a ghost, he wasn't interested in learning about the scope of the supernatural world beyond the murder house

-all he know's is he's dead, he's trapped there, and it sucks

-until you come along

-at first, you and your family seem like any other poor souls unfortunate enough to end up living in the house

-until you finish unpacking

-you have shelves of grimoires and spellbooks dating back to god knows when, their age apparent by the yellowing pages and creased spines

-one day when you're asleep, he picks one from a shelf of yours and thumbs through it's pages

-he sees spells, rituals, potion recipes, and is completely weirded out because he thought this was just stuff you see in movies

-he doesn't even fully believe it until he sees you use your powers firsthand

-one day, sitting on your bed, you leviate your book in front of you, using both hands to stir your coffee in its mug

-tate just stares

-he's totally mesmerised

-"you know," you start, a slight smile on your lips. "if you're really that fascinated with watching a witch at work..." you look up to meet his eyes. "you might think about being a little subtle."

-he freezes, staring at you like a deer in headlights. "you can see me? i'm supposed to be able to choose when-"

-you cut him off with a laugh, letting your book drop onto the bed. "of course i can see you, i did a spirit revealing spell the first day we moved in here - i'd lose it if i hadn't, never knowing when i was being watched."

-he blinks

-you surpress a giggle. "i'm y/n. and judging by that look on your face, you've never met a witch before."

-you spend some time with tate explaining your past, how you ended up at the murder house, demonstrating witchcraft

-he's hooked

-"okay so, most witches have covens, which is like a sisterhood, and each coven has a supreme, who's like, the matriarch, and-"

-"being surrounded by spirits inspires me, it fuels my craft. this house especially - i want to find out what malignant force it's hiding." "seriously?" "what?" "i mean... being surrouded by spirits kind of drove me insane."

-"you can control fire?" "to a certain degree, yeah, i haven't practiced it too much-"

-he can't take his eyes off you or your abilities

-he'll start asking you daily to try something or demonstrate a certain power again

-partly because he's really fascinated by you and partly because he's developing a crush on you and it's an excuse to talk

-he finds the fact that you can always see him a good and bad thing

-bad, because he's gotten used to being able to hide away whenever he wants, and he can't do that with you

-but at the same time he fucking loves it because it makes him feel human again in a way nothing else has

-and he doesn't know if it's that or just you as a person that does it, but either way he's obsessed with you and he needs you to know it

-"y/n, you're not the typa witch that can read minds, can you?"

-"no, i'm not."

-"thank god."

-you chuckle. "what, you have some incriminating thoughts you don't want me knowing about?"

-he smiles, "no, it would just spoil what i'm about to do."

-and he marches right up to you and kisses you

-you kiss back, but you were caught off guard, so your powers kick in and some small, loose objects in the room start shaking

-tate pulls away, looking around and smiling. he nods, whispering "hot."

-you smile, whispering a quiet "oh, shut up" before pulling him back in
