How to Plan A Wedding in Three (3) Months: (1) The Basics
You may proceed if you meet the following criteria:
a. You are living in the Philippines, preferably within Metro Manila.
b. Your main goal is to get married, preferably with the one that you love.
c. You have a budget in mind.
If you meet all of the above mentioned, then LET'S GET STARTED. No time to waste.
One important thing to remember in planning a wedding is that it is composed of mainly two (2) parts:
Ceremony vs. Reception
Both of these things make-up a wedding but one is more important than the other (depending on your personality and your belief system)
If you are a catholic (like me), then you will see the "Ceremony" as the more important part of the wedding because it will act as the eternal bond between you and your future husband. The reception is important for us too but due to the time constraints (3months) we have to put a much higher weight on the ceremony.
Ceremony - according to online sources this "involves an exchange of marriage vows by a couple and proclaimed by an authority figure. Please search thoroughly for the requirements outlined by your specific religion or sect in order to assure that your ceremony will be valid.
Our ceremony to be valid, we had to comply the following requirements coming from our church:
Birth Certificate
Baptismal Certificate with the note "For Marriage Purposes"
Confirmation Certificate (Kumpil)
Marriage License coming from the Registrars Office
CENOMAR from PSA (Certificate of No Marriage)
Wedding Invitation
2x2 picture (2pcs)
Marriage Banns with Permit
Marriage Contract (Civil Marriage)
Reception- on the other hand is described online as "a party usually held after the completion of a marriage ceremony as hospitality for those who have attended the wedding".
NOW! time for a little secret. We have been keeping this secret in our family for quite some time now, this secret formula was invented by me, my mother and sister when we were planning my own debut party. So, the secret to an amazing party are three things:
The Secret: Good Food, Entertainment and Memories (Photo & Video).
Food - this is the most important part of the party trifecta. You need to taste the food that you will be serving to your guest preferably choosing a theme or an experience as they eat their food.
Entertainment - this will be dependent on another factor in the wedding which is the "Host" but you can assure this by having a band or a song list that encapsulates your program flow. Tip: try imagining yourself at a wedding what songs can you relate too? Take into consideration also the overall theme of your wedding.
Photo and Video - when I was researching for my photo and video team, I meticulously watched all of their videos and imagined if they would fit the overall theme of my wedding. If you have a fun and up beat theme then your photo and video team should also have that vibe. If you have dark and mysterious theme then your photo and video should also have that rustic and nostalgic vibe in their portfolio.
After understanding the basics, what you need to prepare now is a GOOGLE SPREADSHEET containing all of the CHECKLIST for our very special day.

Nothing new, just us two.
I’ve been asked a couple of times “Why don’t you post about him?”
As a girl in my late 20s, I have had my fair share of relationships on this earth and you can say that I have a lot of “experience” when it comes to relationships. In all of my relationship, I constantly posted them and updated everyone about our adventures, trips and events. It even got to the point where people would ask me about the place where we had our date or what museum did we visit. It felt like, we were constantly being watched over and it became more of a lifestyle than something organic or something spontaneous. Honestly, it took a toll on me every time. Every moment had to be just picture perfect or had to look okay. Even some of times, it wasn’t. I lost that sense of privacy and just being chill when it came down to those things. Dating someone shouldn’t be hard or perfect. It should be what I learned last year (2019) ... Natural. It shouldn’t be on a calendar unless it’s an event (like anniversaries or valentines). It shouldn’t be complex, like finding a place where “no one has ever gone before”.
It should be easy. And to tell you now, it is so easy. We have nothing planned. When one thing doesn’t work out, we just wing it and find then next closest restaurant in the area. We’ve been disappointed and surprised in all of our adventures. I’ve learned that nothing is perfect. When we go to a perfect spot and there are too many people to take a photo, he would just tell me “Let’s visit it another time, when there are fewer people”.
I don’t post about him because there is nothing new about us. We’ve been everywhere and nowhere. Nothing new or exciting to share with you. We are just super plain couple just enjoying each others company. And the few photos that reach social media are the rarest photos of us going out with either friends or family.

Loving is not comfort. Loving is not laughter or support. Loving someone is CHOICE and not an option.

I started reviewing food in Zomato back in 2013 (I think). I would usually just write to pass the time and then something strange happened to my account, I got notifications telling me that I got 1000 views on my review. I would usually get notifications like this after a month of posting the review. Likes started to pour when I reviewed new trendy restaurants like “Lazy Bastard” in Jupiter Street. I then made a decision to make it a habit to try new restaurants as often as I could. I admit that finding new restaurants to review is hard because I’m a very busy person but, my partner helped me a lot. He would always let me choose where to eat and I would always suggest new restaurants to visit. I thought that reviewing on Zomato, was just for those blessed with the time and money to spend on food but thankfully, my reviews are getting a lot of recognition. The photo above was the first time, I really got a feedback on my review. I told my partner about it and he totally supports me with this journey, my goal is to become a food critic that would get FREE FOOD. FREE FOOD IS THE GOAL (hahaha takaw).
All kidding aside, I would love to get recognize by other food critics and to meet with them. I would like to exchange ideas with them and to experience more exotic foods that our country can offer. I am currently watching food channels to make me better understand how to describe the texture, flavor and the taste of the food.

Sunnies Specs? But your old eye glasses are still good! Well here is a tip that will save you some money! I've been seeing a lot of Sunnies Specs advertisement and I think it's a waste of good money especially if your just doing it for the hype, but no judgment because Sunnies do have the most adorable frames. A few years ago, my sister bought a pair of shades from Sunnies which I didn't get because she already had her Rayban shades. On the same day, we went to our optometrist in Mall of Asia and she handed the shades she bought for only 399 to our optometrists. She inquired if it would be possible to change the lens of the frames to her prescription lens and they agreed to it. After that we have been purchasing frames from Sunnies and we just let our optometrist change the lenses! Easy peezy! Here are a few guidelines in doing this procedure: - First ask your optometrist if they can do the changing of the lens procedure - If your optometrist says that the frames is not compatible with the lens then you can exchange it with Sunnies, they have a good customer service. Except when the lenses are on Sale, they have a no return- no exchange policy - I advice you to buy plastic frames because they would just heat it up for adjustment The photo above shows that I had dark lenses on my glasses before I changed them into my prescription lens, cool right?
