Okay BUT I’ve had this fic idea in my head for a few days that Kenshi has a nightmare/flashback about his time in the Yakuza. One of ways he calms down/ seeks comfort is through mediating with Sento and connecting with his ancestors, particularly one uncle. But then Johnny wakes up and literally sees Kenshi meditating in a STORM and instead of interrupting him he brings out two coats and an umbrella and protects him from the rain until he’s ready to come back inside

I JUST CANT GET THIS IDEA ON PAPER THO ARGH

Edit: are there any Japanese speakers that would be happy to help me with translations? I want to add some Japanese in this fic but I don’t wanna butcher the words (I don’t trust google translate either)

WAIT.

So there's that scene towards the beginning of the game where Kenshi facetiously tells Johnny to bet Sento on Raiden/Kung Lao's fight. And Johnny says, "Not on your life." Right?

Then Johnny gives him Sento and says "You saved my life. It's yours," when Kenshi protests.

Not only does the wording of that suggest the "It's yours" part could be about Johnny's life. But Johnny also sees him and Kenshi's lives as inextricably intertwined. Johnny lost Sento by putting a bet on his own life, in a way. He would have lost that "bet" if not for Kenshi. So although it may not have been on Kenshi's life, their lives are so indivisible that they're essentially one.

Surely someone (maybe me) write an Alerudy fic but make it the Swan Princess.

It would literally be called the Swan Prince.

Rudy gets taken by Graves (who’s Rothbart) and gets turned into a swan, and Graves consistently begs for his hand in marriage so he could legally rule his kingdom. (Rudy refuses ofc his heart belongs to Alejandro)

Alejandro desperately tries searching for Rudy, riddled with love and guilt at how he treated him during their childhood and eager to make him his husband once he finds him.

I sense a lot of angst and comfort on this one :3
