I was sitting on the floor of my bathroom, as one does, and there was a spider the size of a decent pebble that spawned like two inches from my leg

Rosepaw! The girl ❤️

She definitely does not have trauma. She definitely does not have problems with self worth. And she definitely does not have nightmares about her dead mom.

More about her story under the cut!

Rosepaw is part of one of my warriors universes in which there are 3 clans, Flowerclan, Barkclan, and Shineclan, and instead of Starclan, they have the roses.

When the clans were formed, a great sickness, now called The Wilt came and devastated the founding groups. Among the sick was Leaf, a founder and sister of Rose, a second founder, who wasn't sick. Rose was advised by the spirit of her father to sacrifice herself and create the Roses, which would allow every dying cat to make their own rose when they pass.

However, this part of history has been slightly altered, but will not be built upon until after the story is finished to (hopefully) avoid spoilers.

Generations passed and now Rosepaw is a medicine apprentice who discovers a lonely, tattered Rose, the rips and tears of its petals representing the scars it received during its life. And, if the rose still has them, it means they chose to keep them. This rose reveals itself to be angered, wanting vengeance, despite Roses not feeling those emotions. It threatens Rosepaws clan, Flowerclan, if she doesn't carry out her bloody vengeance by killing Barkclans medicine cat, who happens to be the granddaughter of the cat who killed the rose, Twistedleaf. Now, Rosepaw is on a special journey, one that occurs every 6 moons with one patrol from all 3 clans, including the deputy, a medicine cat, some warriors and apprentices of each. The journey is trying to find an herb to cure The Wilt. The herb is called Immortality, since the founders had originally called The Wilting sickness Death. While on the journey, Rosepaw grapples with her morals, responsibilities, and self worth as she desperately tries to find a solution to Twistedleafs demands.

The Rose will be made into a comic that I will be posting here! Super excited to start, currently still outlining a lot of the pages but I have the prologue through chapter 3 roughly storyboarded!

The Polycule Ever!

Adderbite is a Skyclan warrior who goes on a journey to find his sister, Halfdusk, who went on a journey to her Ancestors Home, the the Old Forest, in order to find the Moonstone and hopefully talk to her Ancestors, who have been silent for moons by the lake.

Snap is a loner who meets Adderbite along the way. Adderbite first refused his help, but Snap kept insisting he travel with him. It wasn't until Adderbite fell into a river on his journey and, if not for Snap dragging him out, would have surely drowned, that he accepts the tom as his travelling companion.

After making it to the Moonstone, seeing no traces of Halfdusk or Starclan, they leave and end up lost in Twolegplace. There, they meet Daniel, a kittypet who, in exchange for tales from the far off land of the Lake Clans, leads them out of the Twolegplace. Adderbite and Snap, having enjoyed the kittypet's company, invite him to join. He refuses, saying his house folk would miss him, and watch as they disappear deep into the forest towards the mountains.

After a day of deep thought, however, Daniel breaks and chases after them. After two days of travel, Daniel finally catches up to see Adderbite and Snap locked in a losing battle with a fox. Adderbite will never admit it, but Daniel saved his life that day.

Now, they embark on a journey to return to the clans, meeting foes and friends, and, perhaps, reuniting with some lost kin.

Also, Dan is bi, Adder is pan, and Snap is gay!

Adder's sister is also lesbian and her gf is bi :)
