can’t stop thinking about how taylor has always used trains as metaphors for either a road she can’t take or a road taking someone away from her (“some trains you can’t catch again”, “silence, train runs off its tracks”, “I jump from the train, I ride off alone”, “I knew you, stepping on the last train, marked me like a bloodstain”) but in willow with “you knew that my train could take you home” it’s someone else joining her on her own journey
