Hi, I’ve been working on a spn fic lately and at first I started to write it for myself, like all of my stories, and I never shared them with anybody else than a few people close to me but I would really like some other people from the fandom reading it and giving me some comments so I was thinking about maybe publishing it on AO3. The problem is that I’m afraid people would not be interest into reading it so that’s the point of this post:

I would like to present what my fic is about and see if there would be some people who would like to read it and if there is I could try to put it on AO3 and then send the link.

I’ve been working hard on this fic for almost 3 months, it’s been hard with all the school work and my ADHD but I’m trying to write as much as possible. I’m still not finished but it looks like that:

It’s a teenchester hurt/comfort fanfiction with 18 y/o Dean and 14 y/o Sam. John is on a hunt and Sam and Dean goes to high school, the problem is that the girl Dean is flirting with is actually a witch working for Azazel. She has feelings for Dean but she hates Sam and she knows about the demon blood so she decides to put a blood curse on Sam. Sam starts to feel very sick and there’s something wrong with him (he’s an angsty teenager so he didn’t wanted Dean to find out because he didn’t wanted to be a burden for him). It ends up with Sam bleeding and dying on the motel floor and panicked Dean having to find out what is going on and how to stops it before it’s too late.

What if in the pilot Sam never accepted to help Dean ? If Sam told Dean that he was definitely done with hunting, if he rejected him, went back inside his appartement with Jess and left Dean outside, quietly watching his little brother close the door behind him while he stands alone next to the Impala ?

What would happen to the story ? To Jess ? But most important: What would have happen to Dean ? Oh god, he would be heartbroken…

You know how I started to watch Supernatural ? It was last summer, I saw a few tiktok and some gacha youtube videos about it and all I knew is that it was about two guys dealing with supernatural stuffs. I found it interesting and told myself I should take a closer look to it one day. Until I found out that the two guys were brothers and god knows that my favorite trope of all since forever is family, especially siblings (plus it was about them hunting supernatural stuff and i’ve been super interest in all the ghost & monsters stories since I’m a little kid) and from then on, I knew that this show was made for me. I did a few research, watched youtube compilations of Dean being protective of Sam and found out that it was on Prime Video that we just got a few weeks ago.

I ran to the TV to watch it and I was on 1x03 when my dad came into the room, took a look at the TV and said « Oh, I know this show, I watched it » I didn’t believed him and said « Really ?? » and he said « Yeah, the…what’s their name again ? The Winchester brothers.» I was shoked, I never though that my dad would have known about the show. And then, he started to spoil me everything !

Later, I discovered that he started to watch the show when it first came out in 2005 the year that my older sibling, the eldest of the family was born. I’m pretty sure he never finished the show but when he spoiled me, he told me about Dean sacrifying himself to save Sam and Sam becoming the devil. Which means that my dad was watching my current hyperfixation before I was born and when I was a baby and I never knew about it ???

I don’t really have a problem with destiel, like I understand the reason behind it. But I don’t approve when some destiel shippers start to make Sam look like he is a bad brother in order to make Cas look like the only person who was always there for Dean. Or when they say that Cas is more important for Dean than Sam when Sam is and will always be Dean’s first priority.

Ok, imagine that the end of Supernatural is Sam and Dean both quiting the hunting life and having their own house and girlfriend and they do barbecues together. Then, Sam has a son and Dean has a daughter. The two kids grow up together until one day, their dad disapear and they end up learning about monsters and hunting. Dean’s daughter takes her dad’s car (the Impala) with Sam’s son by her side and they go on the road. The Winchester cousins searching for the Winchester brothers.

No but like in the episode « Hunted » when Gordon kidnaps Dean and use him to tell Sam to come so that he can kill him, Sam knew that Dean was in trouble because he used the code word « funky town » which means that someone’s got a gun on him and when Ava gives him a look, he explains that Dean came with it and that it was a long story. Well now, what is the story ?

I know that they have other codes words like Pougkeepsie which means « drop everything and run » but what happened ? What’s the story behind that code language ?

Imagine that the end of Supernatural is actually Sam going to live his dream of having a normal life and Dean keeps hunting. The two brothers go separate ways but keep calling each other, Dean come visit Sam whenever he can et Sam makes it clear that he is always welcome in his house at any time. Maybe Sam even help Dean with some hunts sometimes without it having an impact on his life. Sam marries a sweet girl, they buy a nice house and gets a puppy.

Later, Sam end up having a son, a literal mini version of him and Dean becomes the BEST uncle ever who wears leather jackets and picks him up at school in his cool car. When the boy becomes a teenager, he learns about monsters and hunting. Then something happens idk what (probably Sam being kidnapped by monsters) but it ends up with the boy riding shotgun in the Impala while Dean drives with metal music on. Both, uncle and nephew, going on a hunt together to find their brother/dad.

#Dean probably didn’t want his nephew to go on a hunt with him not wanting him to be involve with this and putting himself in danger but the #boy was stuborn as hell and he was going to find his dad period. Recently, I had to read a book for school that was about a man and a woman who accidentally drank a love potion making them fall madly in love with each other being impossible for them to be separated and all along my reading of the book I kept thinking about Sam and Dean (but a platonic version)

Here’s one of the passages that reminded me of them (The book is in french so I translated it):

I love time travel fanfics so much, like when one of the boys goes in their past body. I could totally see Dean waking up in his past body. He is completely confuse at first but when he realise what is happening, he takes a look at Sam and see a short boy with messy brown hair and innocent eyes free from any pain, he hasn’t saw them like that for years…

Dean gets SO nostalgic for the innocent, curious, moody kid his little brother used to be, he would want to protect him at all cost becoming even more overprotective than his past self and past!Sam would be like: wtf is wrong with you ???

I love teenchester fanfics with the pov of an outsider (like a teacher, a store employee or motel neighbor) thinking that Dean with the bad boy reputation is being an abusive brother to Sam the sweet boy who loves school. So they try to protect Sam by taking him away from Dean (discreetly or directly) . Later, they end up realising that they were wrong.
