You know, I’ve been seeing a lot of posts comparing Jinx with the Joker, and I definitely get why.
(Both create weapons with their signature styles, both have a J in their name, both experienced a day so terrible they adopted another persona so they’d stop feeling guilty/terrible, both are megalomaniac’s with a clownish aesthetic, etc)
(Oh, and they both held a messed up family dinner during one of their lower points)
But I don’t see any posts comparing Ekko with Batman. Even though they both:
Also experienced a “one bad day” scenario that changed them for good
Are heroic characters with a darker/grittier aesthetic
Are very intelligent inventors
Wear an animal mask
Say stuff like, “they can’t be fixed.” But then they immediately try to fix said person who couldn’t be fixed
Want to fix someone who is responsible for the death of their allies
Grew up in a dangerous city
(Also, is it me, or does Ekko’s fight with Jinx kinda look like this part of Batman and Jokers fight from Arkham Origin?)
