we all love Todd but honestly he’s not very good at being a wraith

the dude gets captured by the Genii, imprisoned for many years, used and betrayed by fellow wraith, always gets in trouble and calls Atlantis for help, which is given partly because they tend to have common goals but also due to Shepard’s quasi-friendship with him

and then he’s all nice sometimes and almost faints from starvation instead of attacking the guards like most wraith would do because he’s working with the humans and they need to accomplish the same things and they’re not food, they’re allies, and he will not try to eat and betray his human allies even if it means starving himself

and there’s also this “I’d rather never see you ever again than meet you as an enemy because I thought we bonded and I kinda wanna become friends” vibe when he’s parting with Sheppard after they escape from the Genii and it’s so cute and human

“there’s a lot about wraith you do not know” well guess what, you’re the only one we’ve met who’s so loyal and helpful, and respectful, and friendly, and reliable, and talkative, and also such a sweet, sweet dummy who doesn’t really know how to wraith but is way better at being a human than say dr Kavanagh

Todd stole my heart the moment I’ve laid my eyes on sga (actually started watching mid-season 5 and only then watched from the beginning) and every time I watch this series I appreciate him more and more for being a much better human than he is a wraith
