Since I’ve already done some for Finn, I think now is a good time to write a little for Simon! Watching him become the latest Tumblr Sexyman™️ has been a dream come true.

• Oh boy, this one’s a doozy.

• Please be patient with him. He is a mess of a person currently, still dealing with the grief of losing Betty and feeling like he doesn’t belong in Ooo no longer being magic. He gets so wrapped up in his sadness that he can neglect the relationships he has in the present. This gets much better after the ending though.

• Self care days are a must, please just pamper this man with a nice hot bath and a massage every once in a while.

• Really good cook, he loves making food for you and it makes him feel like he can actually take care of you.

• He worries about you a lot, especially if you’re someone that likes to take risks and do dangerous stuff.

• He’s a big nerd so he gets excited if you share interests in stuff like science and literature.

• Although he doesn’t like to go on life-threatening adventures (Finn), he still loves the exploring the outdoors and the two of you regularly go for hikes around the safer parts of Ooo.

• Will be very happy if you also have a good friendship with Marceline, seeing his partner and adoptive daughter interact touches his heart.

• Such a simp for you, like if you ask him for anything he will make it his mission to fulfill your request

• His love language is definitely words of affirmation. He needs you to tell him how much you care about him and he loves saying the same to you. He could go on for hours about every little thing he loves about you.

• Marcy and Bonnie will come over for dinner a few times a week, sometimes joined by Finn and HW as well.

• He hates celebrating his own birthday (he’s turning 60) but he loves yours and will definitely bake you a cake and throw small birthday party for you. The party only consists of a few close friends but if you don’t like parties he’s perfectly fine with it being just the two of you.

• At first he wasn’t sure if you would even want to date an old man like him, but as time went on he became more confident in himself and that he deserves love just as much as anyone else, and he’s more than happy to share that love with you.

• Despite her current state, GolBetty is immensely happy seeing Simon finally able to move on and be happy.

• Even if they never got their happy ending, the fact that you and him are able to live happily together brings her peace, and she trusts you to take care of him.

Designed the Archivists. Mainly so I had faces to punch in my mind. But anyways, Penumbra is the eldest, her color scheme was inspired by some pictures of The Pillars of Creation, Crescent is the second oldest, the outside of the cloak is based on. Well you know. And the interior clothes colors are based off of sunsets. Satellite and Solari are fraternal twins and teens* (for their species *This has since been retconned, they are adults CURRENTLY, but were teens during the war against the Titans). Neither it older than the other because these are cosmic entities and I say it can work that way. Their color schemes aren't actually based on anything in particular but after I chose them and laid out the colors I was like "Wow they look like characters on a preschool show that teach you about space" which is sort of ironic.

More info on them under the cut, lil spoiler alert! They are not nice. They are bad in fact.

Penumbra is the one who came up with the idea to send the Collector to the Titan Planet, mainly to see if he was ready to do the work they were all expected to do, partially so they'd all get a break from them. She is also the one who noticed Collector magic doesn't work on Titans. She got along fine with the Collector when she was teaching him things but would get annoyed very easily when he wanted attention in literally any other situation, so she'd send them to play with Satellite and Solari since they were the closest in age to him. She uses she/her but in a nonbinary way, in that I HC all Collectors are cosmic beings outside our scope of understanding of things like sex and gender.

Crescent actually got along the best with The Collector. He would frequently be gone to do things since she is the most active in exploring planets and acquiring specimens, but when he was home she'd love playing with them. He's probably the most outwardly friendly of the Archivists, which you'd need to be when you're constantly interacting with mortals. She's the one who got the idea to get the mortal witches of the planet to kill Titans, using them as easily sacrificed pawns and tools for removing the "threat". He is the one referred to as the Grand Huntsman. You can tell she's fucked up and evil because he wears socks with sandals. (Yeah I double checked the episode with the Titan Trappers and they never once refer to the Grand Huntsman as anything other than that title or "our god" so I'm using she/he pronouns)

Satellite liked playing with the Collector occasionally as they also are easily bored, but Penumbra sending him to always play with them and Solari easily wore their patience thin, so they'd disappear to do "errands" or "chores" or because they were "tired" when it was really just an excuse to leave him with Solari. If they were forced to interact they would easily lose their cool and yell, at the Collector (initially) or in general (after getting in trouble for yelling at him too much), until he was allowed to leave. Despite their surface affect of cool apathy, they're a hot head. Satellite was the one who got to tell the Collector that he should go play with the Titans.

Solari very actively didn't like being around the Collector. Her brand of being "nice" for his sake would be a constant stream of passive-aggression and cold sarcasm, sending them to do pointless chores or activities, scavenger hunts, etc, anything to get him away from them. If they had to interact for some reason, she would do things like play a game called "shooting star" where she would pick him up and magically throw them as far away as possible into space. She's gotten in trouble for it before when they launched him so far they weren't able to return for nearly an hour (after which everyone had to go out looking for him). The Collector did enjoy this game, because little kids just like being thrown around in general, except for the time everyone had to go looking for him because he was launched too far and couldn't figure out where to go to get home.

i rlly appreciate ur kind words especially since i try to go for that balancing act between wanting to explore different/“new” themes and plot but also attempting to keep it somewhat “real” . Idk this is the type of stuff that rlly speaks to me so the fact that u mentioned this, it’s very encouraging !

it’s funny, the biggest cause of delay to the AAIT update was the barry bart scene, especially since it was building up to that point. idk if it’s because my flash fam fics reading is limited to bart centric fics or not, but because of bart’s background it’s like there is an overcompensation that sometimes the general dynamics there are just too positive/stable for me, even (if not especially) for a super hero/powered family. I love conflict and tension and all that and i think it’s realistic to have that in a loving family as well. even for generally amazingly good ppl like jay. to be fair those fics r usually feel good/comfort stories so it makes sense, but for characters like bart who i think has some type of edge to him (lol) i just think conflict suits him a lot 😂 because he is someone who seems to be easy to get along with and broadly seems so well integrated!! but he also just can’t be removed from things like his in series origin story and his literal childhood, which i think is just such an incredibly interesting contrast to how he’s settling in in his current time and leads to a lot of cool stories. it’s like so many ppl seem to agree on, it’s rlly easy for his peers/friends/family to forget or not even know about his background, so to them some of his actions/thoughts can randomly appear inexplicable, whereas to the audience, they’d make so much sense. That type of dissonance is just so cool and makes for interesting fic material !

was planning to make it a ToA/TKC crossover! so it goes:

nico di angelo, feeling a strong sense of Wrongness with apollo's disappearance (he'll never call it death, gods no) and olympus's incompetence, takes matters into his own hands

hades is no help to nico because a god has never actually died before, so the greco-roman underworld is out of the picture

so that only leaves: tartarus. FAR out of hades's domain. nico does not want to go to tartarus. and so he searches for other options.

enter: meg mccaffrey (worried sick and plagued with nightmares), and rachel dare (worried sick because she's NOT plagued with nightmares; apollo's essence no longer within her)

rachel suggests they head to brooklyn after remembering the strange cesspool of non-greco-roman demigod energy she felt back when they raided nero's tower

but before that—

enter: sally, whom nico, rachel, and meg go visit when they've run out of Other Options (nico is Very Embarrassed. rachel is overcompensating. meg is just happy to eat more 7 layer dip)

sally says that percy once mentioned meeting another demigod from another pantheon—carter kane

hc that the 21st nome and rachel go to the same school (brooklyn high), so while rachel doesn't know a carter kane, she's heard of sadie

ok. this one i KNOW is gonna be really fucking long so most of this will be under a readmore

what you need to know:

genres: slice of life. mystery. domestic horror. psychological horror. whateva the fuck type of horror house of leaves is....cosmic horror maybe???

the story is divided into four parts; 1979, 1980, 1981, and 1982. it's a mixed media project (ie chapters/comic/manuscript/animatic/podcast etc) because

a) i want to test my abilities as an artist

b) i wanna emulate the thing memories do: not everything is remembered animatedly. some memories are blurry, some are like words we've read in books, some are simply voices, fragments of everyday life

there are 5 protagonists;

kamil kara, the core of the story. teacher. patriarch of the kara - agbayani - rosas household. whether you'd like to see him as judas iscariot or as his own person is up to you.

manuel cagadas, deutaragonist. architect. black sheep of the cheung family. whether you'd like to see him as jesus of nazareth or as his own person is up to you.

liesel kara, tritagonist. kamil's bold-hearted daughter. she has her own story outside of kamil's complicated narrative in which she stars in.

ramona agbayani-kara, tetartagonist. kamil's wife and matriarch of the kara - agbayani - rosas household. surgeon, specifically in the ob/gyn department. like her daughter, she has her own story outside of kamil's narrative.

alyosha trinidad, pentagonist. liesel's best friend and kamil's top student. an angel in disguise, he serves as the initiator of many of the important events.

kamil and manuel are lovers; their messy relationship is what drives the stories forward

by the time dod begins, kamil and ramona have fallen out of love completely. liesel doesnt know jackshit about her parents' falling out because they'd rather die than let their daughter see them argue or fall apart

kamil's relationship with manuel may drive the stories forward but its kamil's (and everyone else's) love for liesel that keeps it grounded and steady. if that makes sense

liesel is so so so loved. more than she will ever know. ← keep that in mind

manuel has known of his past life ever since he was old enough to think. he doesn't retain actual memories but he does have the same otherworldly powers as the son of god did

meanwhile, kamil only discovered his past life after having his first conversation with manuel

and that's when everything fell apart

alyosha is a literal biblical/abrahamic angel btw. he took the name "alyosha" because it sounded pretty and he rebirthed himself to a family of five indebt to him

most if not all of dod would not have happened if alyosha didn't make his choices around the original jesus and judas

kamil and manuel are 42, ramona is 43, alyosha is 13 and arwen is 12 in 1979

manuel is a trans man! very important for his arc

The Simulated Universe project has to be one of the most taxing, rewarding, but simultaneously mind numbing experiences he's agreed to work with. The primary part of where it gets bizarre is just how often he takes the position, role, lives of a myriad of different people, positions and roles through his journey of unraveling potential truths.

It often requires Caelus to make rest, but also, keeping strong tokens, bonds and forms of familiarity as a must for his soul. Going by Akivili's method of interacting with humankind, while he's certainly not an Aeon, is a grueling process despite the close eyes the Genius Society keeps on his progress. Regardless of it being a realm of particular information, a lot of that weight finds itself meshing well enough into his mind. Being snapped out of existence by Nanook, how the mere presence of IX was deteriorating his mind with the worst brand of despair, to even sillier instances like getting lava from the Qilpoth's cosmic forge hitting his face.

Thus the strength that's demanded of him solely isn't fighting capability alone. Resilience of the soul needs to be at an entirely different scale in order to never let his roots become torn. This is without the sacrifice of having to cut away parts that makes him, him.

At the same time? He undeniably finds a near untamed sense of joy at such a scale of exploration. Many could find it concerning that he's willing to take the risks, of simulated death, revival, the many bizarre ways that it molds, warps and tears him apart before reaching that finish line. Within his mind, it's entirely worth it but not for the reasons such as Herta and the others hold. This experience in itself is a once in a life time experience.

In many ways, being able to experience the good and the horrors at a ground zero level has done wonders in making him care. The pain doesn't make him want to isolate, rather, it just makes him want to do good by the world.

So what better way to get back in touch than to check familiar haunts? To parade and continue on with trusted allies, familiar and those newly made. Despite his bristly disposition, there's a reason he comes back around when one does see him, part may have to do with the circumstance, but a lot comes from the value he personally invests in each bond.

I think Hunter is nonbinary transfem, grey ace, demiromantic, and bi & they mostly use they/them but also like the occasional she/her :)

first of all Hunter is literally the only bitch on the boiling isles with internalized transphobia and Luz is the first person they go to about gender stuff because they r like what the Fuck is wrong with me and Luz is like omgomg...... shes very excited Hunter is comfortable enough to come to xem about it, and immediately offers to help them explore their presentation and look for names and stuff, but Hunter is very reserved and hesitant at first and also explains that she still likes just being Hunter (and Luz totally understands cuz he didnt change their name either)

Unrelated to gender they r just so siblings .... Bo seems EXACTLY like the type of guy who would've been mean to Corey pre-Micheal, but i think thats part of the reason Corey likes him so much.

i can see Bo and Corey having a softspot for kids..well some kids. Corey only kills people he views as assholes or people who are in the way and well..Bo is a dick but i feel like what he went through as a kid would make him have a soft spot, not a big one. Just a tiny one, but i cant see him wanting kids. I can see COREY wanting kids, but not Bo.

ohh i love this, it'd be such a interesting and fucked up dynamic for them !!

[for the purposes of this scenario, we're going to put them into this amalgamated setting] on the whole, i feel like bo actually tends to mind his own business (besides his love of gossiping), so i don't know if he'd be yelling at corey in the street or anything, but he'd definitely know of corey and the whole accident (who doesn't?). i think his meanness would be more discreet, he'd just exude an air of "not to be fucked with" that corey would crumble under if they happened to be in the same vicinity.

bo is the kind of guy who would cut corey off in traffic (like his close call on his bicycle) or push in front of him at the grocery store because no one will stop him. corey is just so downtrodden i feel like bo's meanness is just him liking seeing corey squirm, rather than any moral superiority over the whole "kid killing" business.

[for this scenario, we're heading to ambrose] you're so right that bo's meanness is absolutely part of why corey likes him so much !! like i mentioned in another post, doing it rough with bo is sort of like taking control of his own cosmic punishment. when he's been punished for so long, he's decided he wants to enjoy part of it -- when bo is so much like the people who would yell shit at him, or shove him around, or cut him off or whatever, it's like he goes "fine, you can slap me around but i'm going to enjoy it".

especially after already just giving in to what michael brought out in him. after literal years of emotional stagnation, the murder and the violence and the unfettered angry all feels so good, letting it rush through him is cathartic. it's the same with sex, letting himself actually feel something, pleasure and pain all at once. bo and corey have the nastiest hate sex, no doubt about it.

ohh now this is my controversial corey opinion, but i don't personally hc corey as wanting kids (ymmv!!). i think his mentality around relationships and love is too dysfunctional for kids. of course he'd never, ever hurt a kid (even if he weren't traumatised from the accident), but he isn't great with them either -- just kind yet awkward.

but on the other hand, i think bo does like the idea of having kids. he knows it's an unattainable thing, and it mostly crops up as a sort of power fantasy -- having a good little wife and three all-american kids. there's definitely a tiny soft-spot for kids in general -- they're annoying and loud and he doesn't want other people's kids near him, but he also can't ever imagine hurting a kid (not like what his parents did to him).

at first glance, ochako`s music taste is not that eclectic. she`s mostly comfortable listening to pop, electronica, city pop / future funk --- p much, anything upbeat &. energetic. she would ocassionally listen to trip-hop, specifically for studying; but, as far as her daily playlist goes, her favorite type of music is light-hearted ( or, at least, sounds light-hearted ).

so, that`s why it was surprising that she`s an enthusiastic BABYMETAL fan, all thanks to ( her adoptive little sis ), nagisa, who introduced her to the band`s music. yet, at the same time, with songs like “DOKI DOKI☆Morning,” “line!” &. “Elevator Girl,” is it really all that surprising that she became an instant fan? it still follows her general taste for upbeat and cute-sy music. this time, it just so happens to have an edge.

anyway i think we’re all tired of hermit!tommy uwu therapy fics so heres a list of dsmp x hc fic ideas that could potentially be interesting

rendog fucks around and ends up on the dsmp. At first he assumes that everything is just super dramatic and into roleplay, so mans just goes along with it. By the time it becomes clear that it is in fact not roleplay, rens already too invested and ends up right in the middle of Everything. Afterall, hes no stranger to a system of 3 lives and murder.

when players die regularly, they usually don’t fully crossover to the realm of death. they just respawn. however, the boatem hole is not a regular cause of death by any means, really its more of a cosmic disturbance. Kristin takes notice of this, and as the goddess of death, she takes it upon herself to investigate. does philza get involved???? who knows

ive been saying this for so goddamn long but fuck dude if youre gonna write any sort of ‘dsmp character somehow gets to hermitcraft and there is healing therapy’ then foolish gamers is the best dsmper to do it with. His entire character is about how he used to be a violent death god, before eventually giving that up, to become a pacifist and turns to building! as he said it makes him feel like hes “fixed things from his past”. its a type of catharsis for him. So when quackity comes along and tell him that his builds are worthless and he was really only useful as this fuckin death god (a part of himself that foolish seems to dislike) that destroys foolish! and now hes trying to find the balance between pacifism and being able to protect those he cares about, whilst also desperately trying to find purpose. u cannot tell me that this man wouldnt thrive on hermitcraft.

not technically hermitcraft, but since wilbur soot feels the need to continuously make pointless ghostbur angst, i like the idea that sometimes, when someone from last life permadies, the universe messes up a bit and they are sent to the train station, Not for long, just a couple hours at most. but i think this would just be an interesting concept to explore further

and lastly, tommyinnit and the nho. You may be thinking “that sounds fucking awful” and thats the point! At first, when tommy shows up in the jungle in a confused haze, everyone, including tommy, wants him gone, but, with no idea how to actually get this kid back to the dsmp, he ends up sticking around for a while. bdubs and tommy get along shockingly well. Etho and beef are fairly neutral, although the kid can be a nusiance. But doc hates him. Theyre just so different in near every aspect. A few weeks pass, and the jungle begins to change. It latches onto bdubs. As it turns out, when tommy accidentally jumped servers, a bit of the corruption of The Egg had come with him, and that changes to match the environment, manifesting as The Jungle. When bdubs disappears entirely, the rest of the nho begin their search, and as much as doc might want tommy gone, hes the only one of them who has expirience with the egg.

Life after saving all of time and space is… strange. In a lot of ways it’s not that different, and in others it reaaaally is

One one hand, Bill and Ted still live in the same houses, they still go over to jam with each other every day, they still have their kids and their wives, but on the other, there’s stories of them and their family all over news sites and social media, Wyld Stallyns has rocketed back to worldwide success, and they both have this creeping feeling that maybe their marriage issues weren’t meant to be fixed at all….

Being in the cosmic nexus of a destiny-achieving, existence-saving event with your best friend kind of changes your perspective on a lot of stuff

The paparazzi mellow out after a year or so, but they still have people coming up to ask for autographs and to give thank yous, and news stories are still running mundane updates on them at the end of reports, and all the stores they’re regulars at give them discounted drinks, and it’s strange

The world as a whole has had a shift, too, a good one

Reports after the fact described the event as time and space being twisted and punctured and stretched like putty or rubber, and though most things ended up back to normal, there were still after effects, fingerprints and bumps left in the wake of a near disaster

For a few weeks after The Song That United The World was played, the whole planet was thrumming with leftover energy. It was the most creative humanity had ever been. Artists, singers, painters, writers, sculptors, architects, actors, mathematicians, everyone was spurred on by a bone deep inspiration, and the world created

People became kinder to each other too, gentler and more open and caring, sensors found that the global temperature had miraculously dropped to safe levels, nature started growing back at a faster more vivacious rate, and a scientist discovered that Wyld Stallyns’ music contained an inherent connection to the cosmic vortex, and as a result, made a perfect and sustainable source of green energy when played

So much happened, and yet Bill and Ted… stayed Bill and Ted

They don’t have the same weight and hopelessness as before, they have a stable music career and their kids have been helping produce all the songs they came up with in the Great Creativity Boom, and they don’t feel any different, but that’s the thing

The story that they would unite the world always seemed so distant, and then it became reality in the course of a few days. Even a year after the fact, it’s still a lot to take in

That and… the fact that Bill and Ted can’t stop looking at each other differently

They keep having moments, while hanging out in the garage, where they’ll just find themselves staring at each other, hip to hip on the couch, and there’s something different there than there was before. Or maybe they just didn’t notice it until now

Bill talks to Jo about it, and Ted does the same with Liz. They’re hesitant, because after working to hard to stay together, wouldn’t it make that pointless if they ended things now?

It’s a lot of late night talks, a lot of hugs and snuggling

Jo and Bill have talked about similar stuff before, about Bill’s long standing feelings for Ted, and about Jo’s attraction to women, but they still thought staying in a relationship would be best. But now that Bill’s been seeing how Ted looks at him, he realizes maybe it’s not after all

It’s all new for Ted though, and it’s kind of difficult for him to wrap his head around. Liz sits on the back porch with him and they share drinks and watch the stars and just… talk. Realizing you’re in love is a big thing after all

The divorces are easier than any of them expect, and it’s like a weight is removed from their shoulders afterwards, a new sense of freedom

They decide to have Jo move in with Liz and Ted with Bill, a similar set up to what they did in their early 20s, and start moving their things over

In a lot of ways it does feel the same as moving out after graduation, only this time, when Ted brings his last box of stuff in, when it’s just him and Bill standing in the entryway sweaty and smiling, he takes a step forward, and takes Bill’s face in his hands, and traces a thumb over his cheek as Bill smiles and closes his eyes, and leans in to kiss him

It’s not a movie moment, nothing dramatic and huge, and yet it is the sweetest kiss Ted “Theodore” Logan has ever had

It’s easy to go back to living with each other again, they work together just as well as they always have, only now there’s a new kind of domesticity seeping into the cracks of their life

Casual touches, slow dances in the kitchen and living room, the sleepy weight of the other person’s body against theirs in bed

Bill asks about marriage one night, when it’s just them, when only Ted will feel his breath and the way he shifts to be closer to his chest, and Ted says, “Yeah… I’d like that.”

They don’t invite too many people. They keep it close family and friends. Missy takes Bill suit shopping and Liz helps Ted pick out a dress, and Billie and Thea perform a fantastic song at the reception

The next day they wake up to the news that three thought to be extinct species have been rediscovered

Bill likes to kiss Ted’s wedding ring, and Ted uses the word husband like he’ll never get another chance, and they are so damn happy

Sometimes it can still be rough. They still have sleepless nights where their heads are full of thoughts of other timelines and flashing visions of distant galaxies and the infinite tangle of time, but they have each other when that happens

They can talk about what they see, about the changes. Bill can squeeze Ted’s hand and snuggle into his neck, and they don’t have to think about prison yards or their own cosmic importance

Through it all, with each other they are allowed to be Bill and Ted, nothing else, and that’s the greatest destiny either of them could ask for

part two to maxiel age gap hc !!

OKAY SO CONTINUATION im not done yet (evil laugh)

daniel KNEW that max was IT for him. there can’t be anyone else— this awkward, lanky, aggressive, reckless, brilliant, can barely speak english 20 year old is IT for him.

but daniel couldn’t possibly be it for max.

because this is max.

because max is 20 (again with his age gap issues) and max is young and his career in formula 1 has barely started and he’s going to be the youngest future world champion.

if they give this— whatever this is— a real relationship.. somehow daniel knew that that would be that. it would begin and it might never end. it would be forever. and that was.. that was fucking terrifying.

AND IF THEY DID break up... it would ruin them both. but mostly, it would ruin max. and daniel would never want to do that to him. daniel isn’t sure if he can hold tight enough to keep him from falling apart, to keep him forever BUT NOT tight enough to hurt max.

he couldn’t possibly tie down max like that. max needed to grow WITHOUT him. go explore the world, go to parties all night and be with whomever, wherever.

max is going to be a multi world champion and daniel is supposed to retire and go back to australia and marry some nice girl and that would be that.

they were inevitably part of each other’s equation, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that they were part of each other’s final answer.

so daniel lets go of max, lets go of his “once in a lifetime”. daniel tells him it would pass. but it doesn’t and it never will.

daniel can only hope this love could come back to him, someday. and that when it could, it would be cosmical and right.

and of course, as every fic goes, it DOES come back to him in the future. they do fix it and reunite when max is older and happier and healthier on his own. and when it does, he can hold max and max would be holding him too.

i always think about how sometimes we meet someone that will change our lives so profoundly.. but that doesn’t mean that they are meant to stay in our lives.

and you see how much daniel HAS changed max canonically. (i.e how max’s words about how he thinks its important to have a life outside of racing mirrors daniel’s)

for me, this statement perfectly describes what max and daniel are to each other. canonically or otherwise. platonically or romantically.
