— PERSONALITY
Charming but manipulative - She learned from a young age that you catch more flies with honey and if you do it well enough, they won’t even notice that the honey is at the center of a black widow’s web.
Patient and vengeful - Sometimes, good things come to those who wait. And sometimes the results of playing the long game is so much more satisfying than quick retribution.
— HISTORY
Raised a princess in the Rus empire, Tatiana was married off to a paranoid beast of a man at the young age of fifteen. After being brutalized on their wedding night, she hid her pain with a smile and started to placate his rage in order to ensure her own safety.
She appeared as the perfect, doting wife. Faking adoration for her husband while winning favor from his people and lords as a kind and fair mistress. Her words able to grant mercy to those her husband grew paranoid about.
As everyone knows, being the perfect wife in those days also meant producing an heir. Despite her fierce, secret hatred for her husband, she adored her son and went to great lengths in order to protect him from his own father.
Eventually, her husband began to suspect her of an affair, making her watch as the man he had suspected of bedding her was torn apart by horses. He even went so far as to speculate that their son wasn’t his, threatening to kill the child if he ever found any kind of proof.
One day, while travelling and vulnerable, two of her siblings were attacked by a rival lord. Their deaths spawning a war that resulted in her husband conquering the land of his rival. During this war, she would discover that the attack on her siblings was ordered by her husband. Survival turned into a thirst for revenge.
She started to become more strategic with who she negotiated mercy for while other times, only encouraging the paranoia in her husband’s mind. This led to him making enemies and distrust started to grow among his people.
It all came to a masterful conclusion when she met the vampire, Vlad Dragoș. She faked her death, framing her husband for the murder. Her family, powerful in their own right, then declared war on him. Between the enemies he had made and his own people starting to turn on him, he was easily defeated and she watched from afar as he was executed.
Becoming a vampire didn’t change too much for Tatiana, she has spent most of her immortal life enjoying luxuries and keeping herself entertained with games. She ended up in New York some time ago and find she enjoys living in one of the world’s hearts of art and beauty.
— CURRENT PLOTS
Bloodlines - Twice now, she’s encountered a man who looked remarkably similar to the son she had to leave behind with her family. She’s kept a watchful eye on him since New Years, feeling a certain obligation of protection for him.
— MUSINGS
— CONNECTIONS
Vlad Dragoș - Maker; Her relationship with her maker is not terribly traditional, mainly because he is not a traditional maker. He was a means to an end but that doesn’t mean that she hasn’t grown to feel a deep respect and friendship for her maker.
Miska Liev - Descendant; She’s well aware the human is distantly related to her. Not that he knows or even seems to know of the supernatural in general. Still, she keeps a distant yet careful eye on him, especially in a city like this.
— AESTHETIC

⭐ ( gimme all of u i’m greedy ty x )
send a ⭐ for muses i would be interested in throwing at yours / potential muse combinations.
madison montgomery & john bender - just because of the attitudes and how potentially toxic they would be.
alex russo & michael moscovitz - i just think they would absolutely vibe. they're both so chill. he can play some music and she can do whatever she wants.
aurora renaud & jack skellington - i'm imagining aurora wandering into the feywilds and ending up stumbling upon jack, who is also lost in there lmao.
verna & omen lancaster - omen is a witch and a wanderer who helps creatures and monsters where needed. it's giving kind of opposites vibes, but they'd have a mutual respect i think.
addison montgomery & mateo rivera - mateo is my ga oc who starts as an intern at the hospital and obviously moves up from there. he's an ex con, so everyone either is scared of him or whispers about him. maybe he can work with addison and she can see he's not bad.
stu macher & any of your scream muses - i have verses where he survived, so we can work with a bunch of stuff.
carlisle cullen & joyce byers - doctor moves to the small down several years ago to help out. he's probably seen the boys come through his clinic a lot and he's grown fond of joyce. he wants to help where he can.
taissa turner & natalie scatorccio - with tai paying for nat's rehab, i would just love to see their dynamic more. also when they're teens.
tatiana vasiliev & genevieve belmont - both vampires. gen is on the run and is hiding out in a poppy house / vampire lounge, so maybe tatiana can frequent there or go there for information or something.
sydney kaiser & cain fahey - can be rival assassins, or she can meet him after he goes rogue. or she can even be the one sent after him when he goes rogue.
ra mi young & rick grimes or joel miller - love me some apocalypse things, so i'm down for either ra mi young being the doctor in rick's group, or her tagging along with joel / ellie or even meeting her where tommy is.
ares asare & john wick - i didn't see any information for ares, but i'm sure there's a ton of potential.
johanna avery & dana polk or daniel le domas - take your pick of my final girl or my final boy. they can bond or hate each other. and perhaps get into another horror Together.

Tatiana Nikolaevna’s diary, 2nd/15th January 1913
“In the morning [we] four with Papa and Aunt Olga went to obednya at the lower regimental church. Father Alexander Vasiliev did the service, [he is] our teacher. Towards the end of obednya was moleben. Returned home, had breakfast together and also [with] Aunt Ksenia and Irina. Mama is in her [room] as she has a headache and heartache. In the afternoon [we] four with Papa, Aunt Olga and Irina went out for a walk. A. Ksenia left for home. We walked around our garden to Bablovo, then walked around the lake to the big church and back. A. Olga left for home. Olga, Irina and I sat together and talked. At 4 1/2 went downstairs to have tea with Papa and Mama. Stayed downstairs until 6 o’cl. Then went upstairs. Again sat with Irina and pasted in my album, then read. Sat with Mama, Olga and Anya and worked. At 10 o’cl. went to bed.”

Meduza: Russian officials arm-wrestle to propose the perfect punishment for ‘traitors’
The competition among prominent Russian political figures to out-patriot each other escalated to new heights over the weekend. There were at least two separate scandals that led to senior state officials threatening supposed “traitors” with a violent execution.
The more isolated incident involves Kursk regional parliament deputy Maxim Vasiliev and his wife, Kursk city councilwoman Svetlana Vasilieva, who vacationed over New Year’s in Mexico, whence the couple shared a video of Maxim drinking alcohol and celebrating in Spanish. After the footage circulated online for a few days, Kursk Governor Roman Starovoyt announced his anger and urged Vasiliev’s colleagues to investigate his behavior, suggesting that voters would likely punish him in the next elections. Speaking more directly, United Russia General Secretary and Senator Andrey Turchak called the Vasilievs “shit” and wondered aloud if “Wagner’s sledgehammer” would be needed to persuade them to resign from their positions. For his part, Maxim Vasiliev told the newspaper Kommersant that his Mexico video was meant for friends and family, not the general public, and was thus taken out of context.
Meanwhile, journalists at Mozhem Obyasnit used FlightRadar to track private jets tied to Russian state officials, learning that Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov flew to Dubai, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov vacationed in Istanbul, and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov relaxed in the Maldives over the New Year’s holidays.
One more thing: also over the weekend, Governor Starovoyt posted his own video showing him enduring a macho week in a local bootcamp run by the Wagner private military company. According to political analyst Tatiana Stanovaya, Starovoyt’s bootcamp visit boosts the “horizontal” networking resources of Evgeny Prigozhin, Wagner PMC’s nominal owner, who she says has been trying to level up from a mere businessman to a major political player with real clout.
The other controversy that resonated even more loudly in Russia over the weekend began with actor Artur Smolyaninov telling the newspaper Novaya Gazeta Europe that he’d fight on Ukraine’s side if forced to join the war. (Ironically, Smolyaninov is best known for starring in the Russian war film “9th Company.”) Federal investigators in Russia are now under orders to open a felony case against Smolyaninov.
Following the interview, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman and increasingly unhinged blogger Dmitry Medvedev alluded on his Telegram channel to “renewed discussions about traitors” and suggested that Russia should respond “either ‘by the law’ or ‘by justice.’” Medvedev then explained that “special wartime rules” could be introduced “if the law does not work or does not achieve its purpose.” Citing Smolyaninov’s comments, State Duma deputy and television propagandist Evgeny Popov later suggested adopting legislation that would annul the passports of Russians whose “speech threatens the state.”
In a rare public show of disagreement, Federation Council Constitutional Legislation Committee Chairman Andrey Klishas objected to both Medvedev’s and Popov’s suggestions, describing the latter as “competing with Ukraine to violate the rights of your own citizens” and the former as premature without martial law formally adopted by the State Duma and signed by President Putin. State Duma Defense Committee Deputy Chairman Yuri Shvytkin and State Duma Security Committee Deputy Chairman Ernest Valeev later supported Klishas’ remarks.
The next day, an adviser to the acting head of the self-declared “Donetsk People’s Republic” told the state news agency RIA Novosti that Russia must resurrect the Stalin-era “SMERSH” (Death to Spies) counter-intelligence agencies that policed the USSR’s “subversive elements.” State Duma Defense Committee member Andrey Gurulev promptly endorsed this idea, stressing that SMERSH is especially needed in the four recently annexed regions of Ukraine, where there are “a bunch of spies, hiding scouts, and so on.”

Dear mutuals, followers, others,
Honestly fandom has changed so much since I first joined in 2007 and there’s somethings that I need to get off my chest.
First of all, the comment option destroyed the reblog option. We’re living in a Like and comment, instead of reblog- culture now. Reblogging used to be the only way of sharing your opinion (in the tags). You didn’t get the chance to comment on something, without having to reblog it. I used to not only get a surge of happiness when someone reblogged my post, but I also always looked forward to reading their tags/opinion/freakout/... So can we try as a community to both comment and reblog? Especially for my artist friends on here, who heavily rely on you just clicking that button.
Secondly I used to headcanon in the OB and Clexa fandom and there was a huge feeling of community, coming together with ideas about the show, discussing characters, figuring out hidden clues, random screaming, sometimes being critical of certain decisions,.. but the last two years I’ve been posting possible outcomes, critical analysis,... (based on nothing but a feel) in the LOT and KE fandom, and either people tell you that “you can’t judge an episode before the whole season has ended”, “someone already said that on a different app/forum somewhere sometime” or they come condescendingly proud with a spoiler they somehow got somewhere. Look my dude, there is nothing cool about coming into my headcanon and SPOILING something for the rest of us, even though you think this makes you look intelligent.
At last, apparently everything on this shitpost app now has to be taken seriously? I made a funny post about how a certain psycho assassin sure cries a lot and someone came into my DM with a condescending psychoanalysis of this assassin with I kid you not, Wikipedia links, explaining why they ObviOuslY would cry?? Like, I have a bachelor’s degree in sociology, one in criminology and a master’s in criminological sciences. I know my dude, I was just you know joking/relaxing on this shitpost/meme app??
Honestly, might be just me, might be getting old but this is just getting to the point where I don’t even want to post anything anymore. And people have been asking where I was for the last KE episode so wanted to explain myself a bit, maybe create some boundaries? I appreciate you sharing your ideas on my post, but do it kindly and spoiler free, maybe even you know reblog, tag, show some respect in the meantime?
Lots of love and see you next time my crazy bunch.

Chapters: 9/? Fandom: Killing Eve (TV 2018) Rating: Explicit Warnings: Graphic Depictions Of Violence, Underage Relationships: Eve Polastri/Villanelle | Oksana Astankova, Anna Leonova/Villanelle | Oksana Astankova, Villanelle | Oksana Astankova/OFC, Nadia Kadomtseva/Villanelle | Oksana Astankova Characters: Eve Polastri, Villanelle | Oksana Astankova, multiple OCs, Anna Leonova, Konstantin Vasiliev, Dasha (Killing Eve), Tatiana Astankova, Oksana's Dad, Pyotr Astankov, Paul (Killing Eve), Nadia Kadomtseva Additional Tags: tw: child abuse, TW: underage, the underage will not be too graphic but it is necessary for the story's development, the child abuse is mostly emotional with a bit of physical which is hinted at in canon, TW: underage violence, graphic depictions of violence that may be disturbing, there are warnings all over the place for this fic, read the summary, will update tags as I go but wanted to get all the triggers listed ahead of time, we have poison making, we have non-sexual choking which provokes later masturbation, TW: more graphic depictions of violence, TW: mention of incest that did not actually happen, TW: use of drugs to incapacitate people, TW: double homicide Summary:
Hi all. This is very different from the things I have written before, and a lot of this has been difficult to write, but I wanted to get into Villanelle's head from the beginning. There are many triggers in this story, including emotional and physical child abuse and neglect, graphic descriptions of violence (brief but multiple) that may bother some people, and there will be underage sex though I will not get graphic with that.
This is basically a look at Villanelle from the time she was born until we see her on the screen, and when she reaches canon, I will introduce Eve and the MI6 team. This will be an Eve/Villanelle fic eventually, that is the end game, it will just be... different. I can't jump easily into Villanelle's head, so I backtracked and we will see how this goes.
Please take the warnings seriously... I do not want anyone blindsided.

Nicholas II with his children, 1913
Left to right: Maria Nikolaevna, Olga Nikolaevna, Tatiana Nikolaevna, Alexei Nikolaevich, Nicholas II, Anastasia Nikolaevna
“At 10 1/2 [we] went to the regimental church for obednya. Otetz Alexander Vasiliev served. After [we] returned, had breakfast with Papa and Sergei T. Mama did not get up yet, because she has a severe headache and is tired. At 2 o’cl. 15 min. we four walked with Papa. Almost no snow at all, but it is 5 deg.[rees] below [zero]. At 3 1/2 o’clock Papa went to the Grand Palace to receive the escort and diplomats, while we went to see Countess Hendrikova. Sat with her for a while, and then went to [see] Aunt Mops, and from there to Anya's. N.P. was there. We had tea all together, it was awfully cozy.
Returned at 5 o’cl.[ock], Mama was lying down on the sofa in her study. It was very dark there and I think she was sleeping. Papa returned after 5 o’cl. and we had tea together. He went to Grandmama’s in Petersburg for dinner. We four had dinner with Anya and Mama in the mauve room. She still has a headache, and heart No. 2. After dinner she was lying down on the sofa there, and we sat near by on the floor and worked. Prayed with Alexei as usual at 8 o’cl. Went to bed at 10 o’cl. The year started out well – no one knows how it will end. Oh Lord, save Papa, Mama and all.”
- Olga’s diary, 1st/14th January 1913
“In the morning we four drove to obednya at the upper regimental church with Papa. Batushka gave a very good service. Had breakfast together with Papa and Sergei. Mama was in bed with a very severe headache. We four walked around our garden with Papa. Returned, changed and the four of us alone went to Countess Hendrikova. She was lying down in bed in the bedroom. We sat there for a little while, then from there to Aunt Evgenia Maksimilianovna’s, from there to Anya’s, Nik.[olai] Pav.[lovich] Sablin was there. There we had tea for a little while, then, when we were leaving on the train we ran into an officer from Mama’s Crimean regiment who taught at the Cavalier Guard School. I was very glad to see N.P.
At this time Papa is at the Grand Palace receiving the suite and diplomats. Had tea with Papa and Mama. Mama got out [of bed] and is lying down on the sofa. Later went to the hall with Alexei, where he slid down the hill with Derevenko’s sons. Then went upstairs where I sat with the sisters. They worked and I read to myself. The, had dinner with Mama, the sisters, and Anya. Papa went to Grandmama’s in Petersburg. After dinner sat and read. At 10 o’cl. Olga and I went to bed.”

Russian Names
Russian names are honestly so interesting, and Russian naming culture is very different from the rest of the world. So here we are today to break it down:
The Full Name
Russian names are styled similarly to American names, in the sense that they both have a first-middle-last structure. Russian names are styled as: Given Name – Patronymic – Family Name. Now, first let’s break down each of these names before getting into how to call one another.
 Given Name
Common Male Names - Mikhail, Dmitri, Daniil, Kiriil, Andrei, Egor, Nikita, Alexei, Ilya, Roman, Yaroslav, Vladimir, Sergei, Nikolai, Petyr, Ivan
Common Female Names - Alexandra, Alina, Alisa, Alyona, Anastasia, Anna, Vera, Veronika, Viktoria, Daria, Evgenia, Ekaterina, Elizaveta, Elena, Inna, Ksenia, Lidia, Lyubov, Maria, Maya, Olga, Polina, Sofia, Svetlana, Tatiana, Yulia
Given names are usually reduced to diminutives. Diminutives are shorter “nicknames” given affectionately. Common ones include: Anastasia --> Nastya, Maria --> Masha, Alexander/dra --> Sasha, Dmitri --> Dima. Can’t see much of a pattern? Well that’s because there kind of isn’t one. A loosely applied rule says to add -sha to the first syllable of a name (Ma[ria] --> Masha, Da[ria] --> Dasha, Mi[khail] --> Misha, Pa[vel] --> Pasha). Some add -a or -ya to a certain part of the name (Vic[toria] --> Vika, Pyot[r]--> Petya). Some names don’t even have diminutives (Vera, Nikita, Maxim). Usually there is a chain of names given to a certain given name, here is an example:
Alexander - Sasha - Sashura - Shura
Here is a list of common names and their diminutives:
- Alexander/Alexandra - Sasha
- Anastasia - Nastasia, Nastya
- Anna - Anya
- Veronika - Nika
- Viktoria - Vika
- Daria - Dasha
- Dmitri - Dima
- Evgenia/Evgeni - Zhenya
- Ekaterina - Katya
- Elizaveta - Liza
- Elena - Lena, Lenok
- Ksenia - Ksusha
- Maria - Masha
- Mikhail - Misha
- Petyr - Petya
- Polina - Polya
- Sofia - Sonya
There are even more affectionate names, given usually by friends or loved ones. For example, Maria could become Mashenka and Nikolai becomes Nikolushka or Nikolenka. These forms are generally derived by adding one of these varrious suffixes - -ochk-, -echk-, -onyk-, -enyk-, -ushk-, -yushk-, -yush-, -yash-, -ul-, -ush-, -un-, -us-, -k-, -ik (etc) - to the given name of diminutive.
Other Notes: Alena and Alyona can be the same name (see: Alena Kostornaia/Alyona Kostornaya), if Alena is spelled Alëna in the cryllic. Alena is the way of spelling in English, but the correct pronunciation is A-li-o-na. I and Y can sometimes be interchangeable. For example, Sonya can also be spelled as Sonia.
Patronymic
Patronymics are sort of like the “middle names” used in America, however, they are derived from the father’s given name. For example in these names – Avdotia Romanovna, Rodion Romanovich - the second name (Romanovna, Romanovich) is the patronymic. Siblings would share a patronymic (with variations between male and female) as they have the same father.
Females add -ovna, -evna or -ichna to their father’s given name and males add -ovich, -evich or -ich to their father’s given name. For the examples shown above, the father’s name is Roman, and the female (Avdotia) adds -ovna making Romanovna, and the male (Rodion) adds -ovich making Romanovich. For a name like Dmitri, the female would be Dmitrievna, and the male would be Dmitrievich. For masculine names ending in a vowel, such as Ilya or Foma, when they are used as a base for patronymic, the corresponding endings are -ich (for men) and -inichna (for women). Patronymics can be further shortened like Andreich instead of Andreevich or Kirilych instead of Kiriilovich. These are typically seen in informal speech.
If the father’s name is not known, then the mother can create the patronymic she wishes to give.
Family Name
Common suffixes for Russian names are -ov, -yev, -sky, and -ko, -uk, -ych, -in.
Family names can differ by gender. Females usually add -a to their family name (Karenin à Karenina, Pavlov à Pavlova) or -aya (Oblonsky à Oblonskaya, Shcherbatsky à Shcherbatskaya). Only family names with neutral grammatical gender stay the same (such as -ko, Elizaveta Shilenko). Once married, females usually adopt the family name of their husband. (Anna Oblonskaya becomes Anna Karenina once marrying Karenin).
Common last names in Russia are: Ivanov, Smirnov, Kuznetsov, Popov, Vasiliev, Petrov, Dmitriev, Kuzmin, Alexandrov. As seen, commonly, last names in Russian end in -ov.
Forms of Address
The three-name format is typically only used in legal documents. If the three-name is spoken aloud, typically the family name comes first (Raskolnikov Rodion Romanovich).
The formal format is the Given Name - Patronymic format. This is used by students to teachers and is the official way to communicate. Using this form may convey the speaker’s respect for the recipient. Teachers may call their students by just their family name, though otherwise, it is used very rarely.
In informal communication, typically only the first name, and/or diminutive is used. In rural areas, people may use just the patronymic amongst themselves.
Notes: In competition and when referring to them in other parts of the world, typically we only acknowledge the given name and family name. (Alina Zagitova, no care for the patronymic [Ilnazovna]).
Citations - Wikipedia (Eastern Slavic naming customs, Russian given name), War and Peace (translated by Pevear and Volokhonsky) introduction of principal characters. Crime and Punishment (Signet Classics) Translator’s Note Goldenskate forums. (No this is not a joke, these are my actual citations)

@moonxshadowx Tatiana to Fenris
She walked into the crypt, letting out a sigh as she stepped over a puddle of blood. “I think Vlad should’ve spent more time with you, Fenris,” there was a small click of her tongue, “And why exactly do you insist on living like this?” She looked around them. Considering who she was as a human, this wasn’t exactly a setting she cared much for. “One of these days,  мой дорогой*, I’m going to show you how to live,” she looked away from him and at the mess he had clearly recently made.

( sc. ) stirring a teaspoon in her cup with delicacy, she tapped it once on the lip before raising to her own. tasting the tea she'd made, tatiana hummed low in her throat as she turned a small smile on @charmsurvive - " tea here is shit, but then, most of it is unless you import it. " her accent is strong, despite being raised in america since she was ten. her english otherwise perfect, the russian brogue she'd grown up with too engrained to shake completely. tati shrugged dismissively, small talk not a forte she possessed. striding back to wendy, tati reclaimed her armchair, curling into the corner with her heels kicked off, cross-legged with her feet tucked under her. gesturing with one hand, she blew carefully on the cup to cool it. " my apologies, i interrupted - you were saying ? something about, territories and a . . . what was it ? a collaborative endeavour ? "

Alexei Yagudin on Stephane Lambiel
From commentary during the Men’s SP.
“I guess Stéphane... (I've spent very much time with him, when we were skating in many foreign shows) I guess Stéphane is a person who lets all his work go through his heart. He can't just come to a training, spend some time with his students, make some comments and go away. Stéphane is one of those people to be proud of for the figure skating world. Maybe I shouldn't say, that there are few such people, but I guess he is as great as Nikolai Morozov, Alexei Mishin, Tatiana Anatolievna Tarasova, and many others. These are such coaches who will spend every minute, every second with a student. I guess Deniss (Vasilievs) went to Switzerland in order to have such an attentive coach, in order to work with great Stéphane Lambiel.”

The Russian Tsarevich is nothing short of his father’s son. A staunch conservative, a fierce militantarian mind, and a desire to see Russia reunified under the tricolor. As a top General in the Russian armed forces, Aleksei doesn’t spend much time rubbing shoulders with foreign dignitaries aside from his cousin the King of Romania, who Aleksei has set on an unending mission to dethrone.

In our fun little world, the history of Russia is going to remain untouched until we reach 1918. In the real world, this is when the Tsar & his family were executed by firing squad. Instead- the Tsar never fell from power & instead crushed any rebellion against his throne.
