It’s been exactly one year since the season 7 finale of Legends which means by now Sara and Ava have a baby, Nate and Zari have been living together in the totem for a year, Spooner came out over a year ago, Behrad and Astra have been in a relationship for over a year, Gideon and Gary have been together for over a year, and (I hope) that they have escaped prison and rescued Alun so that he and Gwyn can be happy together and everyone can get back to causing shenanigans while traveling through time. Sara was right, time really is weird, huh?
I can’t believe it’s been a whole year, I miss all these dumbass time travelers so much and would do anything to have them on my screen again!

LIVE ACTION GREEN ARROW
(Which there isn’t a lot of, but it’s something)
Fun Fact: Green Arrow’s original artist for the comics was fired for demanding better treatment

it just occurred to me that the reason legends of tomorrow was cancelled may have been because of the married, sapphic main characters who were going to have a baby i’m going to scream-

It’s missing Legends of Tomorrow hours. Truly no one was doing it like them. They really said what if we had an episode where they bowl for the fate of Earth and win with the power of friendship. What if there's an episode where a new team member is stuck in a Groundhog's Day-esque timeloop but it turns out it was a simulation to speedrun her incorporation into the found family.

LoT was never a particularly famous arrowverse show it kinda ran under the radar, but that was okay. And bc of that I always thought it'd continue forever and that one day I'd be watching every week with my partner, years into the future and shit but it's cancelled and I'm heartbroken

I understand why I love Young Justice so much. It’s because it’s literally Legends of Tomorrow if it was about teenagers

Currently thinking about Arrowverse!Ray Palmer as a college professor. Sure, Arrow decided to go a different route and make Ray a tech billionaire, but even in his TV incarnation, he would be such a good teacher. He’s a complete nerd about his field, as all great professors should be. He gets so excited talking about physics, which would make his lectures engaging. He’s kind, nurturing, and relational (the man literally makes team-building card games, for heaven’s sake). He’s intentional about his relationships with other people, and he thrives on helping others. He always tries to see the best in people, and he doesn’t give up on them. He’d be the kind of teacher who looks out for students’ welfare and does his best to mentor kids with academic/behavioral struggles. He’d never label someone a “problem kid” and dismiss them as a lost cause. He’d make his classroom a community as well as a learning space. Just, Ray Palmer as a teacher. That’s the post.
No wonder he’s actually a professor in the comics.

For anyone who voted for J.R.R. Tolkien in my poll as the historical figure who didn’t appear in “Legends of Tomorrow” (answer was J. Robert Oppenheimer), I refer you to this screenshot:
Also, the plot of the Tolkien episode:
“The Legends land in France during World War I and enlist the aid of J.R.R. Tolkien to retrieve the last pieces of the Spear of Destiny from the Legion of Doom.”
