On the left, Orog! 7 ft (2.1 m) tall, they're basically the underdark version of the mountain orc. However, while everyone else who goes to the underdark turns evil, these orcs just improved thier smithing and came back basically the same. just got a trade degree and a bit pale. Tougher and more knowledgeable than the average orc, that's the power of an honest education in a trade you enjoy. If you're interested in an orc that would be forklift certified, this one's for you!
On the right, Death Knight! Corrupted paladins brought back by dark magic. Used to be fighters and rangers too, but 5e changed that. They can't heal anymore, but spells like Hold Person or Command might interest you! The most famous knight even turned into one of this due to a tragic romance, they've got that corrupted good thing going on!
gareth edwards HAD to kill jyn and cassian because if my good bitch jyn elizabeth lyra erso-andor had lived she would simply not have allowed kylo ren to live long enough to kickstart another fascist regime. that’s my truth and i stand in it
How did Donnie react to the oops babies? How did he know these eggs were different than the other ones?
oh gosh. vague, unsure hand motions. i haven't thought about it too much yet, since it's not really a part of my plan for the main story and therefore not the focus, and also like. shrugs. turtle biology??? mutant biology??? what a mystery. so idk what exactly a pregnancy would look like for them, though i do think they'd know about the existence of kiddos before any eggs actually entered the world.
i think that donnie would have a lot of feelings about it, like, you know, most people would, and there'd definitely be a lot of fear/anxiety/uncertainty (esp at the beginning) for a lot of reasons. but at that stage of his life, he is also in a really good, steady relationship with his partner,,, and has the support of his family,,, and it's definitely not like he HATES the idea of a Mini Him, he just hadn't planned on it so soon,,, (and also he is kind of, like. curious about the Whole Situation,,, scientist brain lighting up,,,)
he and sorrelshine definitely, like, go over all the pros and cons and discuss it at leNGTH on sEVERAL occasions before they come to any conclusion about what they're gonna do about it. but eventually, it's kinda just like...
All my fellow Mechanisms fans out there, this one’s for you
After spending a bit of time here on tumblr dot com, I haven’t seen anyone talk about this but. I believe that good old first name Gunpowder last name Tim caused the events of HNOC. Let me explain
The first and most important piece of evidence is the music. During DTTM, when they’re describing Tim’s death, the music playing is the intro to HNOC. It only seems important because of what music they use for everyone else (like Lost in the Cosmos for Brian, and I think either Hades or Lucky Sevens for Ashes, etc. (I don’t remember for the rest of them)). But like. Tim isn’t really tied in any way to HNOC thematically or narratively, as far as we know (and if we’re talking about music that’s thematically relevant for the character, referencing GTVTMK would make more sense I think?)
The other evidence I will present has more to do with the lore of the albums. Tim specifically steals the largest gunship to ever be created. And as evidenced by the scale of Fort Galfridian and the fact that the person in charge of it was a general, it makes sense that this civilization would have the technological and military capability to create said gunship. And we know Tim went on a murder spree, so maybe that’s why no one was responding to their distress calls? And then, of course, Tim finally dies by crashing into a space station (not wearing his seatbelt). At the start of HNOC, Fort Galfridian is already in disrepair and in a decaying orbit, and what better to leave it that way than being crashed into by the largest gunship ever? (And, tying in with the first piece of evidence, the music referenced was of course that of the one album that *took place on* a space station.)
Anyways, yeah, that’s my one hot spicy Mechanisms theory, feel free to reblog with anything to add/anything I might’ve missed
yeah i can't find the post but my point was Inzaghi was absolutely putting all of Vin's close ones under his protection and we were robbed of a scene where Han-seok was trying to strangle Han-seo with his bare hands only for Inzaghi to show up out of nowhere and pick out his eyes fr
Doing an Early Church study and they casually hit us with “the ten thousand martyrs [from a single city/location]” and “So many were killed on a single day that the axe, blunted and worn out by the slaughter, was broken in pieces, while the exhausted executioners had to be periodically relieved.”
Then you look it up and learn that, yes, the martyrdom of ten thousand people in Nicomedia is supported by historical documents and they can actually specify it likely happened in the year 303 A.D. under the beginning of Diocletian’s reign.
Historians estimate that between 250 and 311 A.D, 60,000 Catholics were martyred. That’s around 1,000 a year, or three a day, for SIXTY YEARS.
“✨We are the granddaughters of the witches you couldn’t burn.✨” Oh yeah? Well we’re the descendants of the Catholics you couldn’t kill. Of people who stood firm in the face of horrors beyond comprehension, who knew that hours or days of pain was nothing compared to the ecstasy that awaited them. I pray that I can have a fraction of their courage and dignity, a hint of their resolve and charity.
Some clowns are posting about it in the tag and I've gotten a bunch of new followers recently interested in GG Strive, so I just wanna take a sec and remind everyone that Strive's arcade mode, the part of the game where Bridget (with encouragement from Goldlewis and Ky to decide for herself how she wishes to identify) decides that she is a girl after all, doesn't have "bad" endings. It's not like the last games where certain routes lead to really obviously unfortunate outcomes. Bridget being referred to with she/her pronouns in text (like her official bio and ArcSys tweets) confirms that the ending where she realizes that she is a girl after all is her canon ending for the arcade mode. ArcSys do their localization (ie, translations) in-house so saying it's a mistranslation doesn't have even a toe to stand on either.
And for the love of all life PLEASE stop using machine translators for Japanese. They are all notoriously bad at Japanese because of how nuanced the language is. Yes, even DeepL.
I'm still crying because it's over but I NEED to make a poll so LETS DO ITTTT
Put your votes in bois, fandom never truly ends and this is just the beginning. I'm honestly so glad I got to experience this show in real time with y'all it's been so fun.
