19th - 25th 

i’m starting to get lazy with this and forgetting to upload

not much happened last week during the work week, mainly just waiting to hear back from DFR to book in my OSB. i did get my AGSVA clearance request which is so long! so many questions lol have to get my parents to find some documents to get some dates for me so i can finish up 

got the whooping cough vaccine last thursday, so we can go see the new nephew!! can’t wait to visit newcastle in a few weeks. saw thi at her nail salon and she didn’t realise it was me, found out on saturday that she’s short sighted so didn’t know who was waving at her hahahahha

corey also serviced my car for me, which i very much appreciated. he’s heading off to canada soon so i got in before he left

had a games night on friday with charlie and the boys, played some card games i’d never played before and came 3rd! happy with that

saturday i got my facial which was heaven, then came back, washed my hair and then maddy, charlie, corey, carter, thi, ana, and myself went out to dinner at the collective in palm beach. ended up ordering so much food omg 

on sunday, maddy, charlie, corey, and i went to springbrook and did the purling brook falls hike then for dinner the gavrils came over and we had pork knuckle pasta that mum made, literal heaven

god have i loved you. you have no idea. i have made myself fall, i have let myself fall, i have let myself fall right back into everything. when the pain comes, so does the happiness. you have no idea. i went into the light. i still love you. i have gone for myself. i came back for myself. 

i know i went too hard and too fast but i am scared that everything will end every second. and my head tells me i have never been loved and filled and it will never last. so i have to give everything right in the moment and i have to take everything the second i get it. 

but it’s not true. i have been loved and i have been cared for and i am loved and cared for and nothing is ending right now. and i can love you and you can decide to not want it. 

in the end my feelings are just mine. it is my love. i have it, i keep it. i feel it. i can still do nothing. i can feel pain and not hurt myself. i can feel love and not try to shove it down someone else’s throat or my own. i can love and it does not have to end in pain.

Bismillahirrahmaaanirrahiim.

Alhamdulillaah, alhamdulillaah, alhamdulillaaah....

Pagi menjelang siang tadi saya baca cerita Rona, yang mau ikut-ikutan saya tempel lekat dalam-dalam di sini. Sederhana saja sebenarnya kalimatnya.

"Salah satu hal yang akan saya jaga baik-baik adalah doa dan restu Ibu selagi beliau dikasi umur sama Allah."

Ya Allah Ar Rahmaan Ar Rahiim.

Jadi teringat kisah pada holaqoh minggu lalu tentang seorang muslimah temannya teman saya yang berjuang dalam berhijab. Qadarullah ia dalam kondisi berbeda agama dengan Ibunya, dan hingga kini sang Ibu masih sulit menerima keputusannya berIslam. Ia berjuang dalam jalan Allah, pun Ia berjuang untuk tidak menyakiti hati Ibunya. Maka dalam keseharian, ia baru bisa menggunakan hijabnya dengan rapi ketika sudah di luar rumah.

Saya terdiam.

Hari gini, di Pontianak, masih ada yang perjuangannya seluas ini? Sungguh tidak ada hal yang terjadi tanpa seizin Allah. Mohon doanya ya.

Teriring doa juga dalam tulisan saya, kepada teman-teman yang Ibunya sudah berpulang, semoga Allah berkenan berkumpul sama-sama di Jannah nanti. Semoga Allah ridha amalan anak-anaknya mampu menambah berat timbangan amalnya juga.

Untuk teman-teman yang figur Ibu dan Bapaknya mungkin belum seperti yang diharapkan, semoga tidak putus harapan untuk selalu mendoakan, Allah sebaik-baik pembolak-balik hati. 🤲🏻 Sama-sama pun sebagai pengingat diri, bahwa diri sendiri pun masih jauh dari sempurna, bagaimana bisa menuntut kesempurnaan orang tua kita.

Tidak mengecilkan peran dan doa Bapak. Lautan kisah dalam Al Quran pun menyajikan kisah-kisah teladan para Nabi. Keterbatasan saya lah yang baru mampu mencoba menyajikan pandangan dan harapan sebagai seorang anak. Qadarullah keadaan Rona dan saya memang sama-sama belum menikah dan sudah ditinggal berpulang Bapak, jadi ya nulisnya tentang doa dan restu Ibu. Semoga lapang kesempatan dan ilmu untuk berbagi hikmah pada fase hidup selanjutnya ya.

Sebenarnya tulisan ini udah mau saya tutup salam nih. Eh teringat lagi atas kebaikan hati seorang Bapak yang saya kenal, yang walaupun tidak ada hubungan keluarga dengan saya, tapi kiriman doanya membuat berkaca-kaca. Semoga Allah pun selalu ridha memberikan banyak bahagia dunia akhirat kepadanya sekeluarga. Kalau istilah kampung, "What did I do to deserve all these kindness from this family?"

Hanya Allah yang mampu membalas semua kebaikan ini. Laa hawla walaa quwwata illa billah. Yaa Arhamar Roohimiin, farrij'alal muslimiin.
