Many R&B vocalists started in gospel music, though she and her family have always kept a foot in both worlds. The Staple Singers have brought their spirituality, and…

All i can say is that Turn: Washington's Spies is one of the BEST historical dramas I've ever watched. I loved every single episode of it. The characters, the ambientations, the writing, the soundtrack. Perfect. Just Perfect.
(well, expect for Anna and Abe's drama: i've found it unbearable, even when they already had such amazing patners like Mary Woodhull and Selah Strong)

I love how Sally Townsend and Robert Townsend were living with Simcoe and they were both spies.
Robert was Culper Jr and was one of the best, if not the best, spy of the Culper Ring.
Sally instead heard Simcoe and André talking about West Point and understood something was off. So she might have told her brother who passed the info.
I want a tv series about her. She deserves it.

Mr. Allan who asked me, and it had always been a matter of principle with me never to do anything a man asked me to do if I could help it.
beating my "read this LM Montgomery short story" drum, I mean just look at this opening paragraph
