One would think that you would be the one to make prohero!Bakugou food for when he goes on patrols so he’s not hungry throughout his day. However, it’s him that makes you food and they’re big meals as well. They’re literally meals portioned for him. So when he sets you up with ginormous sandwiches and excessive amounts of sides, he always questions why you never finish it all. He has to take a look at your face (regardless of your size) for him to understand that it was too much. You’re giving him a raised brow and an intense eye roll.

napping with katsuki on a hot summer day is a dream and a nightmare at the same time. just simply laying with him and feeling his presence wrapped around you is such a good feeling but at the same time you’re literally struggling to not pass out from overheating.

the AC would be turned on full blast, the lights would be turned off, and the ceiling fan would be blowing cold air onto the both of you. katsuki is definitely a person whose temperature runs warmer so when the both of you are trying to be comfortable you like it to be a little chillier in the room.

his quirk doesn’t help AT ALL. he wants to run his hands all over your body, cup your face, just feel you in any way he can but you’re deadass dripping in sweat with eyebrows furrowed. there’s a lot of physical touch in your relationship, especially when napping together, but oh god his hot palms mixed with the humid summer air is just atrocious. don’t get me wrong, you love his touch but not so much feeling like you’re trying to claw your way out of satan’s steamy armpit.

eventually, you get past the heat and fall asleep comfortably in his embrace. and when you wake up a little later than usual and turn over to see his peacefully sleeping face, you know it was all worth it.

Katsuki is always annoyed when you thank him. Its always a subtle roll of his eyes, a halfassed click of his tongue, a low growl when he hears you utter these words. No matter how many times he tells you that you shouldn’t thank him for doing the absolute bare minimum, for doing what he’s meant to do as your partner.

There’s always a packed meal for you when your schedules don’t align, something stupid scribbled on a hot pink post-it right on top. ‘Leftovers, don’t heat up if you ain’t gonna eat it.’ But the little heart at the corner never fails to warm your soul, no matter how much he scribbles atop it.

Whenever your favorite flowers are in season, there’s not a day without them in your home. Big burly Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight stomping about on his way from his patrol with the prettiest bouquet every other day, their pretty sight an absolute contrast to whatever hell is spelled on his features. You can’t help but laugh at the news when they catch him on more than one occasion, asking him one question after the other and completely catching the way his ears turn a brighter red as he cradles the flowers away from the pesky lil extras.

During the colder seasons, your car is always warm when you first get in, already on and running, all the ice is melted and scraped right off. An extra scarf always finds itself on the passenger seat, and you can almost hear his scolding when the cold tips of your fingers run across the material. “I aint warming your frost bitten ass when you come cryin later, alright?”

BAKUGOU HEADCANNONS: touch-starved

Bakugou setting off little explosions when he doesn’t mean to. Aizawa getting annoyed, then seeing his leg bouncing harder under the table. Annoyance turning to concern.

Bakugou doesn’t remember the last time he’s cried. Or felt something other than anger. He’s just so fucking tired.

Bakugou flinching away from Kirishima’s touch even though he wants it, he wants it so bad, but it burns and it’s too much and he can’t-

Bakugou yelling when he wants to cry.

Aizawa calling him back after class one day and asking if he’s alright. He mumbles a gruff I’m fine, before asking if he can go. Aizawa looks sad, but let’s him go.

Bakugou being so exhausted that all he can manage is an irritated, Don’t. Not right now, as he shrugs off Kaminari’s attempts to make him smile.

Bakugou hating himself after he pushes other people away, because fuck it, he just wants to be held, and loved, but anytime someone tries to do that he has to go and fucking-

Kirishima finding him one night after a nightmare, and knocking on his door. He expects Bakugou to shout at him, to tell him he’s fine, to mind his own business. Instead, all he gets is a quiet, Go away. And then a choked, Please.

Kirishima climbing into bed beside him and taking his hand gingerly, unsure if he’s gonna pull away. Bakugou stares at it as if he’s never seen anything like it.

You’re okay, Kirishima tells him, and squeezes his hand. Bakugou can’t breathe.

It’s clear Bakugou’s fighting off tears. Kirishima can’t think why, but then again, he’s never seen Bakugou cry. Ever. Maybe he doesn’t know that it’s okay.

Kirishima reminding Bakugou he’s allowed to break down. Bakugou no longer being able to hold it all back, and simply sinking into Kirishima. Kirishima lets him, and holds Bakugou as he shakes. He can’t imagine how long it’s been since someone’s done this for him.

In trying to soothe him, Kirishima ends up dragging his fingers through Bakugou’s hair, scratching softly at his scalp. Bakugou cries harder.

And then it crosses Kirishima’s mind: maybe no one’s ever done that to him before. Ever. And he can’t help himself, he has to reassure Bakugou. You can ask, you know. For me to do this. Or just for a hug. It’s okay to need.

Bakugou gets a little better at asking after that. Maybe not with his words, but sometimes he’ll sit a little closer to Kirishima than he needs to. Or fight really hard to keep himself from shrugging off the arm that keeps appearing around his shoulders.

And very, very rarely, when the day’s been far too much for him and all he wants to do is cry, he’ll appear at Kirishima’s door tense and his eyes downcast, ready to turn away or blow up at his friend, but all he gets is a hug. An ‘S okay, man. Crying is manly.

His first instinct is to envelop you in the warmest, most comfortable hug of all, but he knows that many times you don't like to be touched and he understands perfectly.

He sits beside you and helps you control your breathing, and he will stay with you as long as necessary.

He is 100% willing to help you with whatever you need. You want water? He'll get it in seconds. Do you want to talk about it? He will listen to everything with all the attention in the world and do his best to help you. Do you just want to be silent? All right, he's here and he's not going anywhere.

⤷ Deku

He is in complete shock to see you in pain. If he could he would take it from you in seconds

But he tries his best to help you and calm you down

He would help you to normalize your breathing and then start saying comforting words.

He would hug you, kiss the top of your head while promising that nothing and no one will hurt you.

He would stay that way with you until he made sure you were better and smiling again.

⤷ Kirishima

Kirishima almost panics when he sees you suffering, but he would be 100% there to hear all your problems and just let you vent to him.

He tries to look for every possible solution to help you because the thing he hates the most in the world is seeing you upset about something.

He'll hug you and trace his fingers gently down your arms and just kind of ramble like, "look how small your hand is against mine, Y/n!" or "your hands are so cute" is a way to distract you.

And he'll hold your hands and kiss your cheeks until you feel better

⤷ Todoroki

I think Todoroki has dealt with anxiety issues before, so he knows very well what it feels like and how to deal with it.

But he would ask you about how he can help you, whether you like to be touched or not and so on.

At first he would give you space, but he would still be there to demonstrate that you are not alone and that he is with you.

if you let him he will hug you and fill your face with kisses to try to drive away the tears, he doesn't pressure you to say nothing about what happened but if you want to talk about it he is more than ready to listen to you and advise you.

In the end he just wants you to know that he will take care of you and that you are safe with him.

⤷ Denki

to be honest, he doesn't really know what to do at first, because he doesn't want to cross any boundaries and hurt you more, but it hurts him so much to see you upset.

so he keeps his distance, always asking if he can touch you.

if you say yes, he will be kissing your face and stroking you gently while promising he will protect you from anything.

if you say no, he'll do whatever it takes to make you feel better. he'll stay with you, but still give you space, demonstrating as best he can that he's always there for you.

⤷ Tamaki

Tamaki gets desperate when he sees you suffering, he would give his best to help you but even so he would still feel a sharp pain in his chest.

He hugs you as he traces soothing circles on your back or just holds your hand, demonstrating that he will always be holding you so you don't fall.

And he's going to be on your side all the time, and yet he's still going to check on you several times later to see if you're really better.

⤷ Shinsou

He knows how to handle situations like this very well because unfortunately he has also been through this alone.

So he will do everything to help you and to make you not feel alone.

He will sit with you and pull you against his chest so you can hear his heart and also feel his breathing rise and fall, a little reminder for you to do the same.

He caresses your back and kisses your head while you calm down.

⤷ Hawks

If this boy could he would fight all your problems for you just to not see you suffering.

His first instinct is to take it away from you, he pulls you into his lap and wraps his arms around you, helping you to breathe normally.

He holds you gently in his lap until you feel better, lightly kissing your forehead or stroking your body gently.

He will think of all possible ways to avoid any triggers that might have caused you to have a crisis.

Ok, hear me out- Bakugou is the cute cuddle bug in private and the “this is my s/o so you better not even look at him twice or i’ll punch you” cuddle bug in public. Please, lemme explain 😏

Bakugou is a jealous bitch. Everyone knows that and you, as his lover, know that even better than anyone else. Which means, Katsuki just NEEDS to be touched and touch you in public to let EVERYONE know YOU are HIS. It’s not cuddling per se like he does at home, but it’s showing everyone around him that you are taken.

Which means, you cannot go out without holding hands, when you sit together, your arm is around his shoulder - always! And he leans against you when possible. His hand is almost always resting on your thigh when you sit somewhere. If it’s not on your thigh, it’s either in your hand or he needs both of his hands for doing something, but usually, if that ain’t required, his free hand rests on your thigh when sitting. 

Driving. Doesn’t matter if it’s with his friends in the backseats or his momma, he will hold your hand while driving. And when you are alone in the car, you can be damn sure he is that bitch that leans in for a kiss at. every. damn. red. light. you need to stop at. 

Which brings me to my next point: Kissing. in public, kiss him on the side of his head, on his cheek, on his lips, doesn’t matter - he THRIVES when being kissed. It shows everyone around you two who he belongs to and who you belong to - nice! But, let’s not forget, Bakugou here wants to keep up his grunty alpha facade (like come on baby don’t even try everyone knows you are a simp for yn), so, once in a while, he will grab your chin and pull you in for a hard kiss himself. Will absolutely french kiss you when he feels threatened (eg being jealous when a guy flirts with you so fucking obviously it makes kat gag)

Like, I promise you, when you go out with him, people KNOW you are in a relationship without him having to say it out loud.

As for, in private, he is more cute cuddly if that makes sense. Like, he will wrap his leg around yours when you lay on the couch, he will rest his head on your chest. Or let you rest your head on his, holding you close. Spooning or Jetpacking, doesn’t matter, all that cute shit! Soft, lazy kisses. Lots of soft touches, combing through his hair. When cooking, hugging him from behind - he loves all that stuff. He initiates soft cuddles a lot later on in the relationship, it surprised you at first, cuz honestly, with how loud he is and with how much he yells and his personal bubble taking up like a whole fucking room? Yeah... who would have thunk that KATSUKI, of all people, likes to cuddle lots (only with you, though i think that is self-explanatory, since if anyone would try to cuddle him? that person is d e d) so yes, he is a soft, cuddly monster. 

don’t let his attitude scare you off, he wants to be cuddled lots in private. if he yells “I can’t cook like that, stupid!” he would be so sad if you’d let go again. tbh... maybe you should let go from time to time to show him being a tsun is not cool.. Though I also hc that Bakugou definitely gets more open and honest with his feelings when in a relationship, especially if you do EXACTLY what he says like “let me go i am too hot” and you let go, he is like “Oh... well shit I DIDN’T MEAN IT THO!” so he is a fast learner and opens up lots, realizing, wanting to cuddle and being close to your lover is not being weak and he doesn’t have to hide his feelings, it’s just what love feels like!
