[ID: a digital drawing of Balam Shichiro from Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun crouching with one hand on the ground in front of him and the other resting on his thigh. His feathery demon wings are spread out behind him as he stares intently towards the viewer. The photo below it is a close up of the same artwork.]
So what if Balam's hyperfixation with humans had to do with his ability Buzzer
Imagine he was talking about humans with other demons, and when they would tell him that humans don't exist, maybe Buzzer would be somewhat triggered, not enough to signify that the person was lying, but enough to make Balam think that there was something wrong with that statement
And you know, being a very curious child and being able to discern what was definitely true from what was definitely false, Balam became fascinated by myths about imaginary beasts, because they mixed together truth and fiction and he had to know, but couldn't
ill just put all the like. 6 pieces of mairimashita content I have here in the span of a day why don't I (eyebrow raise (PLEASE LAOD PLEASE LOAD PLSPSLSPSLSLS
He will protect Iruma as much than before, because Iruma is his student and it change nothing.
It's not because he cares for the boy. No. No. XD
I also love how he ask Balam while also asking him to not answer. firstly because he doesn't need a confirmation. He know enough Balam to know just by looking at him. And secondly, he want to keep a neutral role (or it's what he want everyone, especially himself, to know) (he's already Iruma's dad)
But it still change nothing for Kalego, he will protect Iruma from anyone who would try to hurt him, even if it mean fight his own brother.
He's even not angry to know that Iruma is a human and to know that his best friend lied to him about it.
