This is actually a really difficult question, there are so many characters I want to introduce.
A lot of them don’t have names at the moment though.
There is this side group that Sprite becomes friends with when they go off to college. There are three of them but only one has a name so far
This is Raena.
They are a siren based on a Koi fish. I imagine her to be similar to Atticus in personality but if he was put together and sassier.
…And had a better fashion sense.
I’m struggling figuring out his colors and some other factors of his character. Originally they were a dark grey with white spots, they wore a blue colors scheme outfit (which is also being roughly figured out). However, since I’ve started to look back at my siren OCs, none of them had human skin tones (excluding Selakai). I’m starting to fix this but I cannot figure out a good color scheme for Raena. Im debating on keeping her grey.
Fun fact that I find a little silly, Raena’s color scheme is blue, while her favorite color is red. While Atticus’ color scheme is mainly red, while his favorite color is blue. They both insult each others outfits swearing that they would never wear the color the other is wearing (they are both lying they would)
50. Give me the good ol’ OC talk here. Talk about anything you want.
Not necessarily connected to one OC in particular, but I LOVE writing sirens. I base a lot of their behaviors on sharks and other apex fish. In my notes app I have a few dedicated to siren society. Although most of the sirens that are more important to the story are not apart of the society there. But I still think they are affected by some factors.
i.e phases of the moon - Since sirens are hypercarnivores (meat is the only thing they are able to digest minus a few exceptions) I imagine with schools of fish being drawn the pull, that hunting for sirens move with them.
New moons are also the time where a lot of sirens hunt. It’s the darkest time of the month, and with the ability to see very well in the dark, they blend well. It’s prime time for them to hunt and stock up on fish.
It’s also a rough concept and I’m trying to learn about fish when ever the interest spikes. I’d like to tie in a supernatural cause too. But I’m not entirely sure.
directors using colorful or "impossible" lighting to convey mood and meaning and beauty my beloved. directors making night scenes impossible to see for the sake of realism my beloathed.
as a kid i thought i would graduate from kid problems like cleaning my room to adult problems like jobs and taxes. but instead i have a job and taxes and still have to clean my room. cleaning my room is a lifetime problem. i will never stop having to put my markers away before bedtime. this is a rude way for aging to work.
