it's how she urged him to choose duty, because that's what he always did, and that's what he did with her. And you can clearly see that he shakes his head as if to say "No this time I choose you Rose, not the duty". He think he deserves this and that Rose needs this.

It was the most beautiful and most significant scene of the episode.

i’m kind of obsessed with the reception of the vampire academy show bc is it a perfect adaptation? no. are there parts where you can kind of see the budget slipping? yes. are there a few parts where the characterizations go off the walls or it’s just a lil cringe? yes.

but literally no one gives a shit everyone is just happy to be here and have content and add this new convoluted timeline to the va universe like im genuinely obsessed with the lack of major knit picking. im sure everyone has their complaints i myself have one or two things im not a fan of but i haven’t seen anyone ripping it to shreds like you see with other shows this is the fun you’re supposed to have in fandom im so glad we got a revival, everyone is just praising the cast and going feral over dimitri nature is healing, no bullshit knit picking just replaying all the romitri moments
