i don't believe in the fandom concept of problematic faves (all characters should have at least one Problem, i think, for flavor) but if i did, fiona pitch would have a permanent throne at the very top of my list. i just think she's neato-cheetos.

i just noticed your oc stories can we hear about disciples of the stars or stranded....

oh hell yeah you can .

I’m gonna mostly talk about disciples of the stars because it’s possibly the most developed storywise (I haven’t thought about stranded in multiple years and the story is rough to say the least)

it starts out with the exposition that the stars are living things to some degree, and once the universe is organized enough they collectively agree to keep the peace in organized solar systems. our sun is the primary protector of the solar system, but there are other secondary protectors including this one star who is particularly fond of earth. so fond in fact that it specifically goes against its protocols to explore the beings there.

it’s not the best idea having a god run around not understanding the natural life on a planet. human concepts are completely foreign to it which immediately goes sour when it finds people and they act like. well, people.

kinda cutting corners here but there’s twelve people who are trapped by this god that correlate with the star signs in some way, I’m pretty sure it was you who commented on the post with the fucked up guy ? he’s one of them, the first actually

this exposition would probably be given in a better way in universe but uh. main story takes place in the 2000s with a few teens who fuck around and find out ultimately learning more about human nature in the process, you can probably find some pictures of them in the tags I don’t recall how much I’ve posted about them. maybe I’ll redraw them one day

stranded is a temporary name and follows multiple stories in a dnd kinda world, the main things I’ve made up are the backstories for the animal people and the pirates. it’s actually so dnd adjacent that curly , one of the characters from this story, is slowly becoming my starter dnd character 💀

I have a lot of other personal story characters but many of them relate to stories I share with my friends. speaking of that I really need to redraw a few of them.

(also if this ask is from the post where I mentioned jo he’s an unreasonably tall sixteen year old from me and my friends infiltrating a roblox highschool rp, I just became very fond of him)

So I get to test my 1/5 SS Acerola alongside SS Erika and OG Brendan. I wanted to see if SS Acerola can be a substitute to SS Morty for this team.

And the answer is: kinda, but not really.

The biggest immediate problem is gauge. SS Morty provided unlimited gauge, while SS Acerola, at least at 1/5, cannot provide unlimited gauge as much as SS Morty did. While SS Erika has Speeding Sun 3, and Brendan also has one in his grid, it's still a little difficult to queue two 3 bar moves in one turn with SS Acerola, especially when SS Acerola runs out of Buddy Move.

Speaking of Buddy Move, since the animation takes forever, it also eats Sunny Day and Grassy Terrain duration. It's also kind of unreliable to help SS Erika's offense buffing, so in the end she has to do all the buffing by herself again just like when she's teamed with SS Morty. SS Acerola also cannot buff Speed, so once again SS Erika is on her own to buff her Inertia.

So, I think SS Acerola has her uses for other team comp, just not for this one. On the positive note, seeing SS Erika dealing 25k damage per Solar Blade is definitely satisfying, so she has her merits.

#personal #pokemon masters #in the end ss morty is still the best #but i'm not saying that ss acerola is bad--far from it #her physical move up next stacks and grassy terrain definitely helps ss erika to deal insane dps even when i used her nuke build #so i'm still happy to have ss acerola in my team for grassy terrain #she's definitely going to help other grass types that i have in case of special csmm like serena before #at least i don't think i need to pull for holiday whitney anymore #i still need to pull for ss lyra whenever she gets a rerun though #long post #maybe my playstyle can be improved here but this is my current testing now #my opinion of ss acerola is subject to change depending on the situation #and how high her move level is gonna be #thinking of candying her but maybe not in the near future

"i’m home!” slipping off your converse, you put the pair inside the shoe cabinet near the entrance and close the wooden door in a sigh before trudging in. the lights in the living room are dimmed, something your parents would never do. it catches you a tad bit off guard but nevertheless you try not to think too much. considering the silence surrounding you they most definitely are out for work and as usual forgot to turn off the lights. with cautious steps you walk futher inside, with all intention to sneak in a pack of chips from the kitchen like a thief even though at this point you’ve practically come to the conclusion you’re home alone, but one can never be too careful.

a cat like shriek leaves you when your eyes land on the back of a figure sitting on the couch, your phone almost slipping through the grasp of your fingers as your eyes widen in shock. startled, your heart more or less stopping in a screeching brake for a split second.

the man visibly flinches at the sound of your voice,“who are you?!-” standing up and turning around to face you,“jay?”

“god y/n, you’re gonna make me deaf,” he complains, face contorting into a tender, teasing expression; a small smile gracing his lips as he walks around the couch and leans against the top of the backrest. you watch as he looks at you, so softly that it makes you wonder, has anyone ever in your entire life looked at you like that? a look radiating such gentleness. maybe not, not until now that is.

“you got home early today, i thought you’d be out for two more hours?” his brows raise in a questioning manner as his gaze shifts to go over the time showing on your living room clock.

“uh, well i was working on a project the last few days but i finished it yesterday so,” you speak unsure if you should even be telling him this instead of asking what he’s doing in here.

“oh okay, that’s good,” taking off his overcoat he walks into the kitchen, folding up his dress shirt’s sleeves on the way,“what do you want for lunch then? do you want to eat takeout? or should i cook you something? you must be hungry,” he takes out a bottle of cold water from the fridge and pours in a glass for you, sliding the cup on the countertop towards you as you approach the space in hesitant and confused steps.

his questions dumbfound you, leaving your brain at a loss, still dazed from his presence before you,“what? why are you asking me that? and what are you doing in my house?” you ask, looking completely clueless when jay turns to look at you expecting it to be some kind of a sarcastic remark. but the lost look in your eyes has him surrendering even if it does turn out to be some joke.

“taking care of you,” jay smiles, straightening his posture in an upright position and moving closer to the counter across which you stand,“technically, babysitting,”

“babysitting? me? but,” it baffles you, is this some prank or are you supposed to know something you don’t? your mind’s mechanical gears slow down, friction arising in between them. you don’t remember anything regarding or relating to the term babysitting. there’s no way he’s serious.. right?

“doll, didn’t your parents tell you they’re gonna be out on a business trip for a week? they asked me to look after you while they’re gone,” what.

yes these past few days when you couldn’t catch a hidden, one-sided glimpse of him in the elevator you did feel weird. and you definitely did subconsciously wish to run across him again, even though you were on a mission to avoid him, but this; this is not what you would’ve liked, this is not what you wanted. this is far from what you can handle, what your messed up self can accept.

“no?” the look on your face has jay almost spilling a laugh, the way your features contort to a whiny crying expression. how cute. he thinks.

“that’s okay, now you know,” trying to imitate you, he scrushes up his nose in a slight pout, reaching out to pat your head twice. and there goes your heart. you never thought you’d like head pats this much, you only remember getting them twice from your father but it felt different. it used to annoy you because he would mess up your hair but the way jay caressed your head it felt you had accomplished something, so gentle and careful yet still close to a ruffle.

satoru loves yapping [to you]

satoru was always chatty, shoko could definitely attest to that statement, subjected to too many conversations she definitely did not care about.

“isn’t it hotter than usual? i swear last year it was colder around this time of year-” he began, continuing to talk as shoko tried to focus instead on healing an injured itadori in front of her.

it seemed that his chatty characteristic only amplified when you were around, his eyes would visibly brighten, practically gleaming when you appeared in his eyesight.

“sweetheart! how are you? staying cold in this heat?” you can help but smile at him, walking straight into his already outstretched arms and squeezing his waist a bit, pressing a soft peck to his cheek before pulling away.

“heat? it feels so good out today!” you sigh happily, waving yellow to shoko and itadori, “it is hotter than last year though I’ll tell you that,” satoru grins at your words, turning to shoko with a flint in his eyes before turning back to you.

“that’s what I said! global warming is getting too severe-” the two of you walking out hand in hand, the taller man still talking as you listened intently.

satoru never felt the need to be quiet around you, always finding things to talk about no matter the task or the hour.

“and so you would think that since they were doing so bad they would think of making changes right?” you nod along, humming so he knows you’re listening, “but no! they keep going with same stupid strategy and it’s so frustrating as a fan to see, i just want him to achieve his dreams,” he sighs sadly.

“can you pass the salt?” you ask, taking it from his much larger hand, thanking him before speaking up again, “why does he keep resigning if they always treat him so poorly?” you ask, satoru smiles, heart warming at the fact that you really do pay attention to him.

“he’s always wanted to win with Ferrari- let me take you back to the beginning” he begins, giving you a summary of charles leclerc’s life as you finish cooking dinner.

you could always tell when he got a bit insecure of how talkative he was, but you’d always smile at him, urging him to go on. “and then what? why’d you stop talking?” you’d say, making him smile widely before quietly starting again.

“I’m listening, angel boy,” you mumble in between dreams, listening to him talk about how orange juice isn’t the same as it was when he was growing up and how the new game he downloaded was more complicated than it seems.

it could be nearing 2 in the morning but you wouldn’t mind, satoru would be discussing how and why wombats have cube shaped poops and how koalas eat eucalyptus and pandas have half a brain cell they don’t bother to use.

“it has no real nutritional value and that’s why they have to eat so much of it,” he mumbles, eyes drooping as he cuddles closer to you.

“aren’t they made to digest meat?” you whisper, head tucked into the crook of his neck, your breath running a chill down his spine.

“think so, dunno” he mumbles back, breathing evening out before he’s fully asleep.

your eyes open slowly as you crane your neck, his pink lips slightly parted as he takes soft breaths, snowy hair pointing every which way.

you can’t help but smile at your lover.

“goodnight pretty boy” you whisper, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek, “my little yapper,” you chuckle to yourself, already looking forward to what he’d talk about tomorrow.
