2. Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?

on top of the ones I mentioned in this ask, Magna/Luck is a ship that gives me more BroTP vibes. I find myself enjoying their moments and shenanigans through familial, brotherly lens. I still fw them together as a couple from time to time (especially in my friends' arts and fics), but at the end of the day Magna/Luck's dynamic will always be an important BroTP to me, much like asta and liebe 💖🤝🏻

also it doesn't really count as brotp since I ship them, but Yami and Nacht's bromance is just chef's kiss, I just happened to crack them as exes with nacht getting forced to co-parent the squad he's been avoiding for years 😂

7. Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?

fuck clover kingdom honestly I hope someone destroys it from the ground up and establish a new system :)

also fights. I'm tired of going through fights after fights after fights with cliffhangers that don't hit as often. I just want to see everyone talks and interacts and has cooldown moments more, which hasn't been an option for years now with how fast the plot runs. of course hino provided a much needed break, but I wish liebe played bigger part in the arc and I wish the bulls got to visit the land too.

10. Most disliked arc? Why?

the anime-only arc not included, it used to be the royal knights arc before zora grew on me (tournaments just bore me ok), but now it's the royal capital arc with it being the least enjoyable.

15. Unpopular opinion about the manga/show?

it's full of great themes and ideas but with weak execution because the mangaka rarely goes beyond the bare minimum, leading us to have an underdeveloped world and concepts that used to be hyped in the past shrugged off now because the plot moves too fast for the story to explores everything.

alright, this might not be an unpopular opinion, so for something more controvesial... Yuno doesn't belong to the golden dawn, he doesn't fit with him, they're not his friends let alone found family. Yuno has to be slowly stripped off his roots to become someone more fitting of the squad's superior aura and passive arrogance masked as pride. Yuno deserves better, and he can't get what he deserves in such a loveless and friendless environment that only offered him disdain and guilt.

in a better timeline, Yuno will become a black bull.

The Black Bulls humiliated the rest of the squads

And they did it in 6 months.

Before we start I would like to present a simple timeline to show how long the squadrons have to collect stars.

As we can see during the 6 months between the grimoire ceremony and the Knights' entrance exam, Golden Dawn achieved 70 stars as Vanessa tells us in chapter 10.

While the Black Bulls got 30 negative stars due to the terrible and destructive behaviour they had before Asta joined them.

But the moment Asta joins the Black Bulls radically change their behaviour and in only 6 months they get a total of 131 gold stars. 

Of course due to their performance in the previous 6 months 30 of those stars serve to eliminate the 30 negative black stars. 

As we can see the Black Bulls were dire before Asta's arrival. And Nacht underlines this.

And yet that doesn't change the fact that the rest of the squadrons were completely humiliated. Not only that, but by that time the Black Bulls consisted of only 15 members of which only 11 were doing missions.

How is it possible that in only 6 months the Black Bulls outperformed all other squads except Golden Dawn, when they had a whole year to gain stars? What have they been doing all this time?

The Crimson Lions have an excuse with Fuegoleón falling into a coma and yet it's clear that doesn't seem to be a good enough excuse for Mereoleona.

As far as we know the missions they do have different numbers of stars as rewards but it still looks like the rest of the squadrons were left resting on their laurels.

The humiliation they must have felt at that moment must have been horrible.

David would gift him a Wind Style Dice with Letoile shaking her head.

Siren would probably make him a statue of Hage Village.

Hamon would give him a cookbook of all of his favourite food.

Klaus and Mimosa would go out of their way to make the best possible gift, something for him to enjoy and they gift him a locket od the Golden Dawn and one more for someone else.

Hey :) can you do a headcanon where the black bulls and the golden dawn witness s bonding scene between female asta and yuno.Like yuno acting like a sibling and wiping the food from asts's mouth or yuno poking asta for asking stupid questions.(it could be set in a dinner between the 2 squads).I always like yuno and asta's dynamic,where they both care for each other in small moments.I also like that because asta usually cares for others it does be nice to see them being cared for.(Also if you feel wierd genderbending asta to female you don't have to do it :) )

Hiya anon! For my HC’s I usually only do 3 characters at the max, since they can take a lot of time, but it’s okay! I just answered them like this and gave a “general” headcanon for the squads since doing it indicidually would take a lot of time and what they thought collectively except for Noelle and Mimosa. I also left Asta as a guy since I feel like the groups feelings would be the similar either way 😁! I hope you like it~!

I think the Golden Dawn would be a lot more surprised then the Black Bulls would be at the action, save for Noelle. When the Golden dawn brings up Yuno’s uncharacteristic action of cleaning Asta’s face the Black Bulls would probably find it slightly confusing, but then would just shrug and go back to eating, drinking, and chatting. It was something Asta did with them all the time so it wasn’t really surprising that Yuno did it too. After all they grew up together so they probably adopted certain habits from each other or from Sister Lily and Father Orsi.

They’d probably tease Yuno and Asta about it a bit like saying “is Yuno Asta’s mom or something”, but not in a mean or bad way. They’d probably find it cute and endearing, which would only annoy and embarrass Asta and Yuno 😆!

Now the Golden Dawn would be completely surprised and would ask each other if this was someone’s illusion magic, or if Yuno was sick, or if *they* were the ones that were sick. But after the Black Bulls and Captain Vangeance explained that it was probably a habit that Yuno had adopted and it was something similar to muscle memory for him. The Golden Dawn would nod in understanding and would just leave it at that, and only a select few (like Klaus, Mimosa, Captain Vangeance etc;) would tease him about it since they knew how far they could go before Yuno got mad.

But I can also see Mimosa and Noelle’s imagination going wild when Yuno wiped Asta’s face. “Is he interested in him as more than just a rival?” “No, they grew up as brothers, so there’s no way that could happen!” “But what if??” before finally managing to calm themselves down and realizing that Yuno wasn’t interested in Asta that way and that he wasn’t a “new love rival” for Asta’s affection 😆!

that christian interview:( when he said daniel lost his confidence and love for the sport and just wasn’t himself the last few years… losing a ton of weight… and how he lights up the room when he walks in!!! it’s sweet!!! and heartbreaking at once. even outside of being a daniel fan, watching anyone publicly lose their self confidence is SO sad to watch. glad hes getting it back:) him saying the return to rb is going even better than he thought

Grid skin underway, courtesy of insomnia lol. One piece at a time, or the whole skin all at once and then tutorials? The problem here is even though I have a fairly developed idea, minds change. I might make the banner/nav, love it, and then finish everything else and redo the first three things I worked on because they're suddenly hideous or I uncovered a preferable approach halfway through. Hm. Despite the delays, I think one skin all at once is most practical? The cleanest css/code is possible that way, probably. Maybe some like idk, explainer for how things get consolidated in a stylesheet along the way? Also do people want features beyond the skin itself, like my auto claim stuff, or free to use resources ala fizzy elf's memberlist stuff, etc? or is that kind of add on so ubiquitous there's no need? Genuinely don't know what code the wider rpc has cracked with that stuff.
