She dreams of how the snow would fall, red leaves and eyes as polished silver-grey as armor. They are his eyes, she knows. And in her sleep, she thinks she feels his hands.
It's not a revelation now, her longing for the roughness of his fingers. She's had too many years of fevered, restless dreams. Of waking up and gasping out his words, the memories too permanent an ache.
But it is not the biting cold she fears, the looming, ever-present threat of winter. It's how he looked at her, the promise in his face.
That scowling, drooping mouth, the twisted, grotesque scarring of his cheek, they frighten her with just how dear they have become.
But would he still remember her, the foolish child she was, a silly little object of derision? Was it a passing kiss, a gesture he forgot?
Awake, it's best to see to other matters: the stitching of warm clothes, the grain supply. But past the winter, if she lives that long, the spring will always come. And in her dreams, it is his hearth that she returns to. His sheets, his garden, and his house.

There's white bullshite (aka snow) falling, and we hates it.(¬д¬。)
My cat lady customer was very sweet, and paid full price for a mix up that happened years ago, but took her forever to get back to me about getting it done, so eff yeah! o((*^▽^*))o
Mr Boots kitty is having a hard time with the new pine pellet cat box, so we have to compromise and hide it in the old covered box, and see how that works. (^・ω・^ )
Idk if I'm happy or sad that I'm not going to be decorate for Xmas.（��-’*)

ugh my asthma has been acting up lately. usually that only happens when it’s really cold but it hasn’t been. i think it’s cause of all the grass dander the puppy is picking up outside. i washed all my bed sheets last night and had the puppy sleep on the floor
but now i’m forcing myself to use the nebulizer lol need a lung reset.
yesterday we had christmas party with my moms side of the family. it was okay. we brought the dogs and i played with my cousins twin 1yr olds and i took videos while the kids opened their gifts
my sister and nephew were there so i got to hold him. my sister was annoying. getting onto me with how i was holding him (when i was doing the exact opposite of what she said i was doing wrong—she’s the kind of mom that just wants to put other people down when it comes to her kid. like she just wants to make other people feel inferior when it’s convenient and lines up with her personal values) and she got annoyed when a family sat next to me with one of the 1yr olds and my sister got visibly pissed when the 1yr old reached over and touched the top of my nephews head and cheek. (the 1yr old had clean hands cause he just ate fucking spaghetti like. you could clearly tell they had just cleaned his hands) idk tbh it’s not even like motherhood has changed her personality at all though cause she was like this before. i just like to rant about it in a place where i don’t have to explain or sugarcoat my ranting
best part of my day though was spending time with my cousin on my dads side. i love spending time with them. we went to the mall and just had a great time.
