LMAO @pythiasaint ur tags on that dick/babs post u reblogged from me SO true. it was like simultaneously one of the interesting things about their trainwreck and one of the things that made me want to grab dick by the neck and just. Shake Him. he has such a bad case of nostalgia poisoning sometimes and wanting the world to fit into the narratives he fashioned for it and that was such a fun messy dynamic btwn him and barbara but also OH MY GOD RICHARD. IF SOMEONE SAID SOME OF THE SHIT TO U ABOUT ROBIN YOU SAID TO HER ABOUT BATGIRL YOUD BITE THEIR HEAD OFF AND THEY WOULD DESERVE IT. a little perspective pease!!!!!!!

I was so hopeful that we were gonna break the curse by episodes 8/9/10 because i feel like the season stories or vibes or whatever often change a little right around that mark but now with all this “let me move on” and potential ace love interest in the next few eps im so stressed it wont be until the last 2 episodes or even the finale

So I guess now I'm watching CoD walkthroughs on YouTube ^^;
Which ones would be pertinent to the crossover? Because there are.... many.
(Also thank you for the Desmond's bday queue, made my day! 💐)
The Call of Duty x Assassin's Creed Crossover that we're talking about: The Shadow’s Endgame
I was wondering which missions in Modern Warfare would be necessary to watch.
I personally don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 is necessary since the story would be based on Desmond’s POV and he has no idea what happened in that game but it would give a better understanding of Price and Gaz’s personalities so if you have the time, this one is good (I personally prefer playthroughs without commentary and includes all stages, not just the cutscenes, as a lot of characterization are included in the gameplay portion)
For Modern Warfare II (2022), I would suggest this playlist
But if you just want to know the parts that would be important to the plot, use the playlist above to check the following missions (as Desmond will be focused on Ghost and Soap's side of the story, the ones that you need to see are their missions... in general):
Strike Mission
Kill or Capture
Cartel Protection
Close Air
Hardpoint
El Sin Nombre
Dark Water
Alone
And some additional missions from the OG Trilogy just for reasons:
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Crew Expendable
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - SSDD
(^ This gives a good introduction to the kind of Shepherd we will be seeing in the fic)
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - Cliffhanger
And because I love Ramirez, people just saying Ramirez’s name (mostly to order him around):
(Hahahaha, I’m glad I was able to make your day :))

This is what Riverdale should have been the whole time. Season 1 was a very competent whodunnit murder mystery and then from season 2 onward it just kept getting more and more ridiculous. And the thing that makes it most ridiculous though - they always lean a little bit into how “oh it’s demons, oh it’s flying babies, oh it’s magical cults, everyone’s disappearing” but then they always explain it away like “well actually it was all just jingle jangle and it was the special paint they were using in the school and he didn’t come back from the dead, it’s actually his secret cousin’s twin who we just found out about who looks exactly like him”. With this miniseries, it’s like "La Llorona shows up, yeah the devil shows up, yeah ghosts are real, Sabrina’s real, magic’s real" it was actually like almost more believable because in a world today where everything’s superheroes and vampires and werewolves I kind of wish Riverdale was just that. The fact that they’ve been trying to keep everything realistic just makes it more ridiculous. Like I kind of wish it was just like “yeah demons are real dude” it makes it so much more easy to digest.

watching icarly again and why was igoodbye such a seddie episode??? especially with the creddie scene, it makes almost no sense, it’s so contradictory. (the closure thing for carly is still the only way i can see that scene because freddie didn’t initiate it, he only kissed her back to satisfy what he wanted as a lovesick child in s1) because their scenes were so elite in this episode, freddie mentioned sam had had him try the backscratcher first, they walk into the shay’s apartment together, make fun of spencer’s voice when speaking to audrey over the phone, sam and freddie reprimand gibby together, and then when gibby interrupts sam freddie questions him to try to let sam continue what she was saying (this is literally only the beginning of the episode that was a 45 minute special) THEN THE ICONIC CELL PHONE SCENE- let’s talk about it because as soon as freddie heard sam say she wanted to talk to him about something important his mind immediately went to them getting back together- they are so endgame coded.

Okay but the fact that the whole reason Rory got with married-Dean to begin with was bc of her heartbreak over Jess. The fact that when she was upset over Logan cheating, she went to Jess and couldn’t go through with it because she still had those feelings for Logan. But at the same time it’s like she went for what was RIGHT for her and she knew it but she still wasn’t over her current relationship. It’s just so fucking clear that Rory going for what is actually right for her always leads her to Jess and her avoiding it leads her to the people that she uses to avoid what is right for her which is Jess.
