I just remembered something adorable that happened in a server on CoS-

I deleted the screen shot of it sadly but it was really freaking adorable and All Want is somebody to draw this adorable moment and duo.

A very pretty glimmer gramoss, it was black and neon colored and the glimmer parts were blue.  I was a prabiki! I love them so much :) and I saw the gramoss and complimented them! They protected me from a kos ken and Venatrox! The Gram won :D

And I got a screen shot of me and the gram! I was sitting between its front legs and in the chat I was like: :D and the Gram was like: :D 

So basically

trying to get into creatures of sonaria. got a gramoss from a gacha spin token and so far they are my favorite. playing as anything but a herbivore is hard because if i play as a carnivore i end up starving to death because i can't find meat or i just get murdered because everyone else is playing as creatures a million times bigger than me. that being said i still die within a minute of playing no matter what because i just get killed for existing. it's a little bit frustrating but whatever i am having fun i think

to those who know what they're doing in the game: is there anywhere i could learn how to play this game better? any discord servers so i could talk to people in real time (because when i tried to ask questions in the chat nobody ever answered me)? just tips in general?

okayyyy I forgot to do this yesterday but here’s my thoughts on the CoS recode

It’s in its early stages buutt I think so far it’s actually pretty good (at least compared to current CoS). Bigger and better map, more in-depth survival aspects (water purity is a neat concept), and more in-game info on creatures instead of having to check the wiki for basic information every time. Also the survival stats menu telling you how much time you’ve been alive or how much food you ate is very good but idk if they’re adding back death rewards so. also blood moon and volcano are AWESOME events no notes. they finally gave aquatics some more interesting game play with the portals and the darting and beaching speed (you don’t lose health on land and some aquatics can move faster then others on land) and the flooding (which is a double edged sword but I’ll get to that later). Also missions and diet changes good (why is tun a herbivore though lol)

There are flaws ofc. Aliments are just. so op now. you cant heal off burn in water and mud doesn’t seem to speed up health anymore. This makes breathspammers even more atrocious to deal with. Imagine losing 8500 hp just to energy breath. Why. The elephant in the room is the current overpopulation of giant invisible semi aquatic Spinosaurus that roam the map with 600 base dmg AND thorns*, but that problem Will hopefully fade off as the game enters full release. Flood is just. nightmare mode to deal with unless your semi or fully aquatic or a bird. other then that have fun drowning Mr boreal and Gramoss. Flying is fun but why did they nerf gliders so bad lol. I get the removal of “getting launched 50 feet into the air on take off” thing but unless your at a high level good luck getting any air dork. *apparently Mijiu wasn’t supposed to have 36 defensive bleed but it was there long enough to make fighting them impossible for a day or 2 (it’s been fixed now)

I can talk about this thing all frickin day but it’s barely been a week since its release so we’ll wait and see. I like this direction the games taking tho. 7/10

Some Creatures of Sonaria headcannons because the game deserves more appreciation

1. Minawiis, despite their skittish, timid behavior, like to “sing” and dance in groups in the rain 2. Boreal Wardens are snobs, and kinda of assholes, and dont treat young ones very good 3. Juvenile beezus like to play in top of giant creatures, teasing them 4. Despite their appearence, Kendylls are excellent parents, especially with their first borns 5. Kerukus are mostly herbivorous, and only use their lighthing breath in self defense 6. Despite their appearence, Ikorans act more like a wolf pack instead of a lion one, and are willing to let join a solitary ikoran to their pack if this one is young and/or starving 7. Buukons are mostly loners, but sometimes juveniles make a pack with other buukons 8. Jotunhel cubs like to play with rocks and small dead fish 9. Peros act the same as ravens, crows and magpies, love shiny things, very smart and very curious 10. Brequewks act the same as macaw floks, also their feathers change within the season, very sligthly: Summer-Strong green Spring-Green/pink mix Fall-Green/orange mix Winter-Light green/pink mix Also male brequewks act a bit like roosters, fight and display for females, males even make the rooster song 11. Kripriks act exactly as you would imagine a gremlin or a goblin to act like 12. Lissiceous are monogamus, if their partner dies in a no elder age, it will probably never reproduct with any other specimen again 13. Yiepir act like chihuahuas, loud, angry and challenging much larger creatures than itself, however, this behaviour only ocurrs in juveniles of all genders and male adults 14. Ardor Wardens are more like badgers than bears, so dont expect very much a sign of friendly behaviour

15. When they are scared, khikus sometimes act a bit dumb, like running in circules for like 3 seconds, bonking themselves with twigs in the process 16. Knalrikis act like foxes and/or racoons, following food everywhere, also, if they are in a group, it would be like a collective braincell group most of the time 17. Gramoss are dicks, even with their own kids, but sometimes they can be gentle giants, but just if they live solo

Gather around story time

@archeologistlion , @dreamingsweetin-c​ and I went to play creatures of sonaria on roblox together, we struggled alot to find each other on the map but ended together on the swamp, from there we went forward on a lesbian odyssey to find a perfect place to start a pack.

We were all starving when we began travelling towards the oasis, crossing a big river of water which could probably kill us because of stamina, we managed to survive and as soon we get to the other side a meteor shower begins, we rush to a cave nearby and wait, unfortunately Louie dies of starvation afterwards and we promise her that we will carry her corpse to our personal paradise and have a funeral there, we waited by a nearby lake recovering from our travels while Nick spots a kendyll coming towards us and tell me to bolt, I grabbed my friend’s corpse and ran while being joined by said friend after she respawned and found us, sadly I had to drop her body and keep running as it was already rotten and getting the attention of carnivores.

We managed to get to the Oasis and it was all fine and dandy, a buukon and a gramoss joins us afterwards and we begin building nests, hatching eggs..y’know.. stuff, until a magnarothus comes in, tell us that he’s the ruler of the desert (nearby biome) and says that he’s here to propose a diplomacy and we must join his pack or else in which I say no obviously, he did not like that.

He comes back as an exterri, tells us to follow his orders again, our gramoss has enough and attacks him, he wins unfortunately and has the AUDACITY of saying “Hold on let me heal” after he kills one of our members, Nick quickly beats the shit out of him and he dies in which makes him EVEN MORE PISSED, at this point our colony is going well, we have 2 saukuryns with us, a gramoss, a Qurogusk and a few small critters and I have my very first newborn child, and the dude comes back for revenge, the qurogosk (Who btw, I love him dearly 😭) grabs the weaker ones and hides them and comes back, everyone is just rounding this dude until he literally tells everyone to sit down and I lost my shit at him and tell him to fuck off, he offers us his “diplomacy” for the last time and just when he was about to kill me he saw how many people were around him and LEFT THE GAMEEEEEEEEE.
